Tattoo artist Izzy Hart doesn’t take orders from anyone — until Victoria Laurent walks older, stunning, and in control of everything she touches. What starts as a flirtatious challenge becomes a dangerous game of dominance and surrender, where every glance is a command and every touch feels like a claim.
But when passion turns to something deeper, walls shatter and control slips. In the heat of the city’s shadows, we’ll have to is this power play just a game… or the only way we know how to love?
The writing is very good, very expressive. The story felt a bit rushed for me, there seems to be a lot more missing. While I do enjoy a good Dom/Sub trope, this one seemed a bit rushed. I found myself more confused than anything. It's hard to feel the characters when the story feels too rushed. It goes from her making a Tattoo for Victoria to a dom/sub situation in .03 seconds without any build up. The tattoo part was never revisited again, that is quite litteraly how they met. I can't imagine meeting someone and 30 minutes later blindly agreeing to everything. There is so much potential to this story with just a bit more world and character building.
