Kate Francis is a former New Jersey government executive who'd much rather be writing than anything else - except possibly reading. She loves figuring out what normal people do in abnormal situations, and how the simplest decisions we make end up being the ones that change our lives.

New Jersey is her favorite book setting, because it lets her tell people about the Garden State and how beautiful it really is, despite the pictures of the NJ Turnpike everyone sees.
