Both stories are set around Christmas time, have K-9’s, and are magnificent FIVE STAR stories.
DEADLY CHRISTMAS TRAP by Lynette Eason is the superb story of Cheyenne Chen, Plains City PD tech analyst working with the Dakota Gun Task Force, and officer Jack Donadio and his K-9 partner Beau, specialized in locating electronic devices, as they try to figure out why someone is targeting Cheyenne. Who hates Cheyenne enough to put such a large bounty on her?
Once they figure out the who, will it answer the why? Can they get ahead of this evil person’s masterplan and capture him before it’s too late. Can they deflect all the attacks from people needing that bounty? Can Jack guard his heart knowing how his life may change drastically with the movement of a bullet? Dare Cheyenne dream of a happily-ever-after after being determined not to?
DANGEROUS HOLIDAY MANHUNT by Lenora Worth is the phenomenal story of US Deputy Marshal Lorelai Danvers, her K-9 partner Bixby, and Drake Corbin, owner of Triple C Ranch, as they try to outsmart and capture escaped prisoner Booker Gleason, who is out for revenge and is willing to do anything to claim what he mistakenly believes is his.

My favorite quote is
She really shouldn’t get too excited about that idea, but she couldn’t stop the thought from bouncing through her mind. Thinking about her coworker, with his stylishly messy brown hair, expressive green eyes and perpetual five o’clock shadow sent warm fuzzies all through her and her heart softened with the thought of being with him. The reaction annoyed her and thrilled her at the same time because while she was ready to find someone and settle down, dating Jack could completely upend her life. And that terrified her.

In this two story audiobook, you get stories that involve K9 Officers - a very special breed of officer who have a unique relationship with their canine partners.
Both of these books were very enjoyable to listen to as Christmas Romantic Suspense. They both emphasize faith without knocking you over the head. In Deadly Christmas Trap, Lynette Eason spins the tale of Cheyenne Chen and Jack Donadio along with his K-9 partner, Bo. They are up against someone who wants had put a bounty out on Cheyenne and their feelings for each other. Throughout the book, Cheyenne and Jack fully rely on God for the future of their relationship.
In Dangerous Lenora Worth creates the story of US Marshal Lorelai Danvers who is suffering through her first winter in the north having recently moved from Georgia. She is called to help with a manhunt and, asking with her Australian Shepherd K9, they get snowed in at Drake's ranch while on the hunt for a fugitive. Through this experience, their faith leads them together.
Deadly Christmas Trap is narrated by Cindy Kay and Deadly Holiday Manhunt is narrated by Callie Beaulieu. Both did a superb job.

Lynette Eason’s Deadly Christmas Trap - was a Short & Sweet (KISS) read that had action all the way and Lenora Worth’s Dangerous Holiday Manhunt was a little "calmer" then the other read and still made for a nice duo together.
You can never go wrong with any of the Love Inspired Suspense reads!

I have long enjoyed Love Inspired Suspense books & these 2 audios definitely fit the genre.
They are well written stories & I enjoyed following the main characters as they find love & work together to stay safe & catch the bad guys.
The narrators did a good job also.
