I never claimed to be smart.
Especially when it came to trying to outrun two Vampire Mafia Kings who owned this city.

Why Vanessa why?
This is book two of the Garnet Dagger series. I am enjoying the storyline and the tale of the brothers Talon and Victor. I am curious about their second Andreas and his powers, unique and it is never said exactly what he is. Our lead female character Vanessa, well I am not a fan of her actions. We begin book two with Vanessa in deep trouble. She just will not stop to think, let me get some help before taking action. How could Vanessa believe the fortune teller-witch over Talon and Victor, her strong protectors? Vanessa overheard the witch talking to her Lord about her and the dagger and instead of getting away, Vanessa walks into the trap. My second complaint about Vanessa is when Talon and Victor tell her that they paid off her debt, not even a true thank you but a subpar response plus more internal dialogue about not being able to able to pay them back. I moving on to book three, and hopefully Vanessa will find some strength to make better decisions and less knee jerk reactions. Read On!

I have mixed feelings about this....
I thought the first one was good but the contiuation of the miscommunicating trope and the FMC still refusing to believe the MMCs was very frustrating. I understand how she had trust issues from her past but damn... through 2 whole books and she's still not trusting them to protect her!? Seemed like the author is trying to make a trilogy out of a story that could have been a duet (just my opinion)
Also, don't know why this bothers me but there was waaayyy too many exclamation marks in the writing. Couldn't get through 3 pages without having about a minimum of 4-6, sometimes 3 in a single page. It made it seem like I was reading the POV of teenagers instead of adults.

I did not finish. This book was not professionally edited by a human being who would know that Central Park is capitalized. In fact, it was spelled "central park" in several places. Even my cheap spell check knows it is supposed to be capitalized. A professional editor would know that the subject of the sentence has to agree with the verb in number. Also, it is quite painfully obvious that the author has never set foot in Manhattan. Words are missing from sentences. If an author wants us to spend our money on an author's work, then the author owes us a professionally edited text.

Vampire's!!!! Oh my Goddess!!!!
Book 2 I have read this book in 2 days as I couldn't put it down. I've laughed, cried, and had naughty thoughts 🤣 I'm obviously obsessed with the brothers Victor and Talon because who wouldn't be? They treat Nessa like a precious treasure, their Goddess!! Now we have Vasilious!! Well!!! I don't have a hope in hell, do I? Nope!!! not a chance. 6'8" of hotness!!!! I can't wait for book 3!!!

Just when you thought a vampire romance story couldn't get any different, here come Stephanie Hudson! This story pits brothers against brother, witches against vampires and introduces us to a female character that is very different from other female characters we've read about so far. It has the beautiful descriptive qualities Ms. Hudson is a master (mistress) of! You just have to read and enjoy this for yourself.

Blood Claims is book 2 of Stephanie Hudson's Garnet Dagger Mafia series. What could be hotter than falling for a hot alpha male, falling for a set of twin hot alpha males. This book is full of steamy scenes that will have you begging for more. The plot twist will keep you on your toes. The hardest part will be waiting in the next book.

Such an exciting book!
Vanessa has no clue what she has gotten herself into! Vampire twins or so she thinks, but there are (3)! Who will win! The twins Victor and Talon Erebus or the evil third brother Basil dios Erebus? Can't wait for next book to find out!

Mixed feelings
Is interested in some chapters, but in the same time boring . I hate the monologue of 3 pages . The smut was okay . The most interesting part for me is Vasileos so i will continue the book only for him 😅

Didn’t like this as much as the first book, although again a few interesting twists and turns … however it does end on a cliff hanger how I thought it would - interesting to see how the story ends

Hot story

Great smexy scenes and chemistry between characters. The number of times that Nessa makes super dumb decisions when there's obvious danger and red flags she just continues anyway lol but I do enjoy the 2 vamps' persistence in finding and getting her out of trouble constantly 😄
