This was such an amazing romance book by Kesandra that I need to catch my breath. OMG Grace and Declan are going to rock your kindle the entire time you're devouring the pages and let me just say that this is one well written book that flowed very nicely. Loved the green-eyed hunk on the cover and the storyline is just as hot. I had a hard time trying to put my kindle down to make dinner so I finally decided to order delivery so I could sit and finish reading this marvelous book. I have never read anything before Declan's Second Shot by Kesandra but HOLY SMOKES I am definitely going to become her newest and biggest fan. :)

Declan’s Second Shot is a deliciously trope-heavy small-town romance that throws a runaway bride into the arms (and house) of her best friend’s broody, tattooed brother for a fake engagement that turns very real, very fast; the chemistry absolutely sizzles and the protective single dad energy is swoon-worthy, though the angst drags a bit mid-book — still, with steamy forced proximity, great banter, and enough emotional heat to fog up your Kindle, this is a wildly entertaining read for anyone who loves their romance messy, spicy, and full of heart.

Don't get the Enemies to Lovers vibe at all. Declan & Grace weren't enemies. The enemy in this would be James & maybe the town, atleast in the beginning. Pretty predictable flow with the Fake Dating trope but it was written very nicely. Great flow with involving characters from Book 1. Just loved how the two littles immediately bonded with each other.2.5🌶

Declan's Second Shot by Kesandra Wick is the second book of the Sunrise Second Chance Series. Grace and Declan's story is a great second chance romance. The storyline was great, I was hooked from the beginning. This is the first book I have read from the author and can't wait to read more of her work.
