A great addition to the series
When I first began this series, it was certainly a new experience with the unconventional type of warfare that the E & E brought forth to their enemies. Over the long series there have been many unexpected twists, new friendships, relationships, and even children. Unfortunately, in the last couple of books, almost all of what originally remained of the core group has now been destroyed by the Council or the Children of the Empire. It's been a heartbreaking and brutal time, especially for those who are left behind.
As much as I have enjoyed most of this series (from the beginning to the story when Allison was "rescued"), the last few books have become almost like a bad sci-fi story. There are many inventions that Wally's created over the course of this series that really intrigued me, but the direction that the series is heading, it's just not for me. I doubt that I'll continue with the series beyond this book.
This was a great story and addition to the series, and I'm sure that many of you will enjoy it.
