Halloween is infinitely better when you’re spending it with your favorite people. This year, I was lucky enough to snag tickets for my group, but Karma has other plans. Apparently, I’m the worst person to exist, so here I am, arguing with an employee like I’ve got nothing better to do.
Until he comes along.
The owner, Silas, has been running Hell’s Hilltop for a few years now, but tonight is the first time I’ve had the unfortunate luck of running into him. With his rogue scare actors and asshole carnies, I’m almost tempted to never step foot in this godforsaken attraction again.

ARC Review
Lola does not disappoint. I'm so thankful I got to ARC this series
books one and two (Hell's hayride and Hell's Chase) were amazing, but book three? Absolute perfection. Hell's Maze is everything to me. I giggled. I blushed. I drooled. I devoured it in one sitting and I might just read it again because Silas has a chokehold on me.
Josie's night starts off rough, her friends stood her up, she's alone, and she's in a mood. But Silas? He's got a little plan up his sleeve. She thinks there are more people in the maze, but surprise: it's just him. And when I say he takes what he likes... whew. He's older, confident, and absolutely feral in the best way. He bites. He growls. He fights. And he's already told her he's going to teach her some manners whether she likes it or not.
Lola Knox is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. Her stories are short, spicy, and straight to the point with just enough plot to keep you hooked and just enough spice to leave you breathless. If you want to get naughty this spooky season, add Hell's Maze to your TBR immediately.
And don't sleep on the rest of the Hell's Hilltop series either.

Thank you SO much to Lola for the opportunity to be able to read this before it releases! I love this Halloween novella series so much! It scratches every itch when it comes to spooky season, masked men & haunted attraction vibes
You had me at age gap, ALWAYS. Silas is a silver fox and our fmc Josie is a spitfire who literally might be my spirit animal. The spice was spicy and I love a good insta lust story that just makes sense. It’s crazy how just in 30 pages you managed to create another amazing couple/story in this Hell’s Hilltop universe. Lola, you got me again and now I’m attached to Silas and Josie. I need an update already 🤣

I loved the first two books so much and this one is just as wonderful!
Josie, the FMC, is not one to take shit from anyone - she is the definition of “bad bitch” and I couldn’t get enough of her.
Silas, the MMC, runs the maze and is over the scare actors. He’s calm but is quite the dominant for Josie.
This is an age gap dark romance with some mighty fine smut including primal play… 👩🍳💋
The spice level is 😮💨
I think Silas is my new book boyfriend 🖤

~ ARC review ~
Bratty FMC with an older MMC. As with the previous installments, its mostly smut with barely any plot. A quick read with less than 50 pages.
I’m not a big fan of characters that are very bratty and i preferred the previous books over this one, but i did enjoy this.
Wish the chasing through the corn maze was a bit longer, but still fun nonetheless!
Bratty FMC with an older MMC. As with the previous installments, its mostly smut with barely any plot. A quick read with less than 50 pages.
I’m not a big fan of characters that are very bratty and i preferred the previous books over this one, but i did enjoy this.

She’s arguing with an employee when Silas over hears and advises that she be let in. The spice only picks up from there and I couldn’t get enough of it. Silas hides / hunts Josie in the maze and we all know he caught her !!!
