Honestly, this book ended up being better than I expected. The individual stories weren't as good as 近畿地方のある場所について's and the wraparound plot had some really meandering moments, but the way things came together was pretty interesting and unique. I think 近畿地方's overarching narrative is probably inferior to this book's. I'll definitely be keeping up with Sesuji's work from now onward too - his character writing in this book wasn't amazing, but there was a lot of conceptual promise peeking throughout the entire thing.

感觉是个有些云里雾里的故事，在埋伏得过深的伏笔的影响下，恐怖氛围没有那么显著，同时故事的关联性没有很强，会有一点影响对伏笔之处的记忆，串联后的惊喜感也被打了一层折扣。比之作者其他作品略微逊色，但也有精巧之处。

遠遠不如背筋前作《近畿》，恐怖感相差甚遠之外，作者在這部中使用一般分章分節的敘事手法（而非近畿那種獨特的紀實媒材拼貼），暴露了其文筆的短處，寫起角色對話蠻尷尬的，對於角色的刻劃也不精湛。
