I used this book to help a young man with a science fair experiment involving magnetic levitation and suspension. The book had all kinds of interesting little projects in it. I would highly recommend it for grade school to high school science projects, provided that you can get the book cheaply. The author was paid to help design experiments and to write the book by two suppliers of kids science gear, and the references to those two suppliers abound in the book ("... and you can get this * at..."). There are several additional places where one can get the supplies necessary for these experiments, so, if you decide to use this book for science fair projects, shop around.
