Reon Laudat writes romance and women's fiction lite (aka chick lit). She graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in journalism. (In another life...before pursuing fiction full time, she worked as a features/lifestyle reporter for three major newspapers. Her beats included the fun stuff--pop culture, television, fashion, and fitness. Her articles have been distributed to newspapers all over the country by the Gannett News Service.
This book was too lite in spots, there didn't seem to be enough back story to carry the weigh of what was going on and then in some points it seemed like all it had was back story! The last 2 chapters seemed like they were written by someone else, someone who knew how to tell a story. As you can tell I liked the way it ended and that's about it, the main character was a pain in her own side, the other characters treated her like a child and the main male character seemed to treat life like a race of who could do the most.
