It took me more three weeks to finish reading this book; a chapter here and a chapter there in between reading other books.

This book could, with maybe three or four additional rewrites deserve a rating of five, as it stands, it deserves a mere 2.

The main character and heroine, Dr. Seacourt an internist, is first introduced well into the book appearing as a secondary character to the plot. The character, who holds the main evil-doer position is introduced quickly, yet wanes throughout the book, his position having been over-taken by another villain.

The dialogue is good, but needs to be developed more. The character known as President Bill Clinton becomes President Bill Climan; since the last name remains consistent from the onset of its use, it makes the reader wonder which name was the mistake. Paragraph after paragraph begin with the same word, making the reader feel that he is reviewing a middle school term paper.

All in all, with a few more rewrites this could have been an awesome book. But, as it stands, it makes me wonder; how do people get published these days?

Only reason I finished it was because it was unfortunately the only book I had on a long road trip. The best parts were laughing at the most terrible similes I have ever come across...
