My kind of love

This was my first time reading this author and wasn't disappointed.. The story of Ynobi and her gentlemen but also the stories of the side characters were so streamlined that it flowed beautifully... Truly enjoyed this.. Oh and the spice was a 10 alarm 😂

So Moving

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters and their relationships drew me in. Their journey together pulled at my heart and put me through all the emotions.

This book is steamy, intimate in the most vulnerable of ways, and is so thoughtfully written.

Wow!!! This book was everything I could wish for. I’ve read a lot of romance books with older MCs and this is one of the few that truly read like one. The MCs were balanced and mature there was no annoying macho bullshit or unnecessary miscommunication. The story had a nice flow to it and even though there was an insta love/lust element the author still made the characters fall in love and took the readers a long that journey in a way that didn’t cheapen their love or make it all about lust as a reader I felt myself falling in love with the MCs falling in love (don’t ask me to explain). Lastly the way the fmc was written and how the 🌶️ scenes played out was just *chef kisses*. As a very open minded and sexually liberated woman it was nice to see a woman express herself sexually without being on a leash and being given the reigns to directs the scenes and take ownership of her pleasure she was able to have new experiences without shame or playing to the submissive archetype we see in a lot of romance books. There’s some darkish elements with mentions of 🔫/DV (not by the MMCs)racism/microaggressions but I wouldn’t class this a dark romance. Great book and one I’ll definitely be rereading.

I didn't know what to expect when I started this book but it jumped off right into the deep end. I typically do not reach many books with MMFs or MMFFM but this one was not a bad way to start. There was enough plot and story between the heated scenes to keep me reading and wondering what they were going to get into next.
I appreciated the development of the characters and their relationship. I think self-care and mental health is looked over a lot and I like how the author made sure to touch on each of these throughout her book. The characters took care of each other as well as themselves creating a much healthier relationship. If you like trust and building of solid relationships while experimenting with...... you should definitely give this book a shot.

An engrossing plot sprinkled with love, strong devotion, and even suspense: I loved the immediate hold this book had on my attention. Ynobi is such an empathetic character who won me over instantly. She truly is a gift. There are multiple perspectives of her and her men, including several other intriguing characters. Bronsen and Zeke are characters that come to life on the page and are driven by goals that are portrayed authentically. This book has poetic spice with true purpose and a message that will stay with you long after Skyline's immersive pages are read. My kind of love? My kind of book!!!!!!

I loved the dynamic between Ynobi, Sen, and Zeke! How they loved each other freely, even while some openly disagreed with their lifestyle. Bronsen was my favorite character, and he captured my attention every time it came to his occupation and protecting those around him. 🫠 There is loss and some grief, but their love for one another always shone through, uplifting each other. I really enjoyed the side characters, Jodie and Briggs, and I’m thoroughly looking forward to the next book to get even more of everyone!

My Kind of Love is an emotionally charged and thought-provoking story that takes readers deep into the complexities of love, grief, and vulnerability. Skyline A. Milbow delivers a powerful narrative through the character of Dr. Ynobi Jones, whose past heartbreaks have forced her to build walls around her heart. What makes this book so compelling is the raw honesty in Ynobi’s journey her inner conflict is not only relatable but deeply human.

Truly 5 ⭐️’s and definitely one of my favorite reads this year! This story has so much heart and makes you stop and think deeply about what the characters are going through. I love how each character is going through some kind of healing journey but still holding space to love on another.

One of the biggest theme’s that I took away from this book was the safety aspect of the relationship which definitely made me stop and unpack the importance of safety within a relationship.
