I liked this heartwarming, powerful, faith-based message that hits a home run! KB shares an important theme with young girls--a message of perseverance and faith. The book is geared toward young girls, but honestly, the story offers a great message from which anyone could benefit.

As a mom, I highly recommend this book to other families. This would be a great story for Christian school teachers or coaches or homeschool families.

I bought this book for my granddaughter. It's a wonderful and encouraging story of perseverance and hope. I loved it, and I know my granddaughter will too. I was happy to find a book that focuses on relying on God for kids.

I hope you will support this amazing ministry of KB Briley. I'm listed as an author but my contribution was really in some editing and creating the images in the book. My friend KB Briley has an amazing Christian testimony through her experiences playing softball from age 4 through college. It seemed like everything that could go wrong did....a fractured back, COVID, injuries, surgeries that forced her to miss two seasons in college. Even the last game of her final college season, a base runner collided with her at first base, knocking her hard to the ground, resulting in a concussion. She missed the playoffs and her last chance to play.

Through it all, KB trusted God and relied on Him. She trusted His plan for her life, wherever it led. Those experiences changed her life goals. She switched majors, certain God wanted her to coach softball and teach. She is now a middle school softball coach and social studies teacher. This is a great book for kids and an inspiring story for anyone. The book is 32 pages, filled with illustrations, and includes Bible verses important to KB and a list of actions KB believes kids should take like working hard, praying always, and respecting teammates and friends. Every kid should read it, whether they are athletes or not.

One of the lines in KB's book that really gets to me is, “Sometimes chasing your dream will break your heart before it blesses your life.”

This is truly a ministry. There's no intent to make money. All proceeds go back into purchasing books for KB to give away as she meets kids at softball tournaments, camps, and special events. Thanks.
