Ivy is visiting her grandmother for the summer while she recovers from hip surgery. Her sister takes her to a bar and when Ethan, a handsome, hot man, sits next to her it’s instalove. One night together is all that’s promised until she is asked to babysit for a friend and it turns out to be for Ethan’s daughter Maisie. As they fight the temptation for each other day in and day out, Maisie grows close to Ivy. What will happen to Maisie when Ivy needs to leave? Trouble soon stirs when Kimberly returns wanting to start over as a family. What happens with the relationship between Ethan and Ivy? Will they let their desires to be together continue and form a family or will Ivy leave. This was a heart-warming small-town story of their hearts pulling towards each other. The plot was well-written and the chemistry between the characters were steamy and spicy. Highly recommend.

A one-night stand to forever! This is about Ivy, Ethan, and his daughter, Maisie. They meet at a bar and decide to have a one-night stand, since she is only in town for the summer. Ivy's sister asks Ivy to help her friend's brother with a babysitting gig while she is in town. Well, to Ethan's surprise, Ivy is the one who comes to meet him for the job. Now she is babysitting Maisie and teaching her art at the same time. Of course, the ex-wife comes back in the picture because she wants more than Ethan wants.

The chemistry between these two was there from the start, they connected well and this deepened because of the bond that developed between Ivy and Maisie. I liked seeing Ivy inspire Maisie and I felt for the latter because of the impact her mother had on her.
