Excited that I got to read a review copy of this book. Being a fan of Parker's work in creating Quantum Human Design and listening to her talking about the book, I was curious to see where it went.

The frame of this book is around looking at the stories that have been running your life and how to rewrite them. She gives templates on how to do that, then goes into the various aspects of a QHD chart with this top of mind. I found this a very helpful way to look at how to use the system to create change in my life. This book ties the body into the system to make it helpful to see how physical, emotional, and psychological pain all ties together.

She structures this by encouraging you to look at your life as a hero's journey and to recast yourself as the main character. She points out that all heroes have a sacred flaw that they need to overcome to get to the happy ending. She provides templates to help you write these more empowering stories about yourself so you don't feel like you're floundering in a sea of information. She calls this the StoryLab process. (She's been running workshops to allow you to get assistance in doing this.)

I was especially excited to see the extensive talk about the gates and planets, which her books haven't done to this point. I compared the information on each of the gates to what is in the Encyclopedia of Quantum Human Design and found she had reworded the sections on challenge and the expressions to expand a bit on the ideas and she had added a Sacred Flaw Story Prompt for each one. I found the prompts insightful in working with the gates. Also understanding the pairing of the planets, and both the Soul Purpose and Life Purpose gates is something I haven't run across before and really deepened my understanding of the system.

I really enjoyed this book and want to delve deeper into the exercises. I am frustrated when I clicked to get the worksheets mentioned in the book and signed up to the list that instead of getting a link to the resources I just got a basic welcome email. Would have made it a lot easier.
