A quick read that had me riveted to the story from the very first page until the last. Hunter is a Paediatrician who is taking a break from work and has an apartment she is house sitting in New York organised through an Agency. Hunter arrives in the penthouse it is all she expected, luxurious with amazing views, she is wandering through the rooms when she sees a photograph on a side table, it is a little boy and a man, she picks it up and she almost drops it when she realises the man is Adrian Shaw! He is her ex’s brother and they hate each other, she could not believe of all the apartments in New York she is in his! Just as she was struggling with this she hears the door opening and she moves into the main room to see Adrian walking into the door, holding the hand of a small boy, he sees her and of course wants to know what the hell she is doing there. The chemistry Adrian and Harper have with each other right from the outset is explosive, the banter between them is quite amusing, Harper’s relationship with young Theo is delightful. Together Adrian and Harper face challenges in the pursuit of a relationship, can Adrian truly trust Harper, what happed to Ben, will he reappear? There are a few twists and turns in this unputdownable read.

Holy Smokes Laila just wrote one SIZZLING HOT romance book that had me pacing around the house with my kindle in my hands. This is an emotionally charged story that blends together heartwarming heat and stubbornness between Harper and Adrain that makes this romance book EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to put down. The bantering between Harper and Adrian will have you thinking that he will never forgive her but keep reading because things are about to change and the truth will prevail on what really happened. I thought Theo sounded like a sweet little boy and he won Harper's heart right away.
This is the story of Harper and Adrian. It’s a quick read and was enjoyable. Harper was hired to house sit for him but didn’t realize whose house it was until she got there. Then she finds out it’s Adrian Shaw’s- the brother of her ex fiancé. They have a lot of history and don’t get along. There was a lot of back and forth between them. But when they finally got together they had chemistry and found themselves drawn to each other.
I received an arc for this book but this is my honest review.
I enjoyed reading Harper and Adrian's story. It was a quick fun, read. Harper is house sitting for what she thought was a stranger but learns that it is for Adrian my ex’s billionaire brother. This is their fun story. I really enjoyed the storyline and is one you won't want to miss reading.
