Second Splatterpunk Short Story in the Grease, Grime & Gore collection.
Cold, wet, and starving, Davey stumbles into a roadside café that promises warmth and a fry-up to fill his gut. The place looks ordinary enough — a few regulars, a tired old waitress, the sizzle of bacon on the grill.
But the longer he sits, the stranger it feels. The customers don’t blink. The smells are too strong. And when the plate lands in front of him, piled high with sausage, bacon, and black pudding, Davey realises he’s in for more than breakfast.
In this splatterpunk short story, the familiar comfort of a greasy spoon turns rotten, twisting into a nightmare of hunger, horror, and transformation.
Perfect for fans of gritty, grim British horror with a stomach-turning bite.

This is book 2…. But I’m confused I assumed it linked to the first book character wise and assumed Davey was Dave but there was no mention of what he’d been through in the first book so assumed different guy similar name? Either way this one wasn’t as good as the first
