Rate this book
Us v. The Machine is a guided tour through the operating system of American racism, seen not as random hate but as a product that was coded, branded, and sold. Phillip Scott traces how policy, media, finance, and tech built a feedback loop that looks invisible to most people, yet it predicts where you live, what you are offered, and how you are policed. This book is not about feelings, it is about inputs, incentives, outputs. You will learn how propaganda templates repeat, how corporate marketing masks bias as “taste,” how redlining evolved into algorithms, and how political messaging keeps the loop funded. You also get field tactics to interrupt the loop in your home, school, business, and city. You will five-part playbook that turns prejudice into policy, then into profitHow news frames and ad copy teach the public to accept unfair outcomes. Where “neutral” technology hides historical data and makes it destinyHow to spot a narrative in the first 30 seconds and refuse the scriptA blueprint for collective action that protects your household and grows powerReadable, sharp, and packed with receipts, Us v. The Machine reframes the problem so you can finally see the levers. Once you see them, you can pull them.

Outstanding book uncle Phil

This book is a must have to all FBI’s in the continental United States. Phil Scott is a treasure to the black community and I’ll be supporting them until my dying day.
