In a world with no cats, the Hero comes across the first cat her world has ever seen. Unsure about this new creatures powers, she decides to care for it and take it on her journey to defeat the Demon King. The cat, however, isn't quite as effective for combat as she had hoped - but no mind, the Demon King has little time to spare, for he too has found himself with three kittens.

I love Ema Touyama and I know she can be a little experimental with what she does. I was a little surprised to see her pen a cat manga, but I wasn't surprised by the outcome. The art is super cute, as expected. The plot? Absolutely chaotic. It leans very strongly into video game parody and in that sense reminds a lot of Cat on the Hero's Lap albeit even more over the top. The predicaments and antics are so on the nose comedic that you really can't take a single moment seriously. That, in a way, is absolutely it's charm. The Hero becomes incompetent in the face of now having to care for an ever hungry cat and the Demon King is fully engrossed in his kittens. Somewhere along the line, the Captain of of the king's guard joins the ranks with her own cat in tow and we get a few other cat-like creatures (shout out for a pallas cat) thrown in and it's really just a crazy romp.

I'd also like to comment on the actual book - this is my first manga with stencilled edges and it's so pretty. It was a lovely surprise to see how much went into the design of this volume. It's also worth noting that the English edition is an omnibus single volume that includes the complete two volume series as per Japanese release.

If you are a fan of cat manga or cozy fantasy in general, I can’t imagine why you wouldn’t enjoy this story. It’s just cats being cats even when transported to another world with magical heroes and demon kings~

This is the perfect cat manga for me! It's one volume filled with adorable, funny, short chapters, centered on some isekai-ed cats and their misadventures with fantasy trope staples like the Hero and the Demon Lord.

It was cute! I like the decorations on the stenciled edges. Some of the stories were a little out there (I personally have never wanted to fondle a cat’s balls, but, uh, you do you, knight lady, I guess) but things were mostly a fun time.

Very cute, just a lot of cat happenings and the plot went nowhere. Too much cute scenes that make it wow. I was also quite surprised by the publisher's spray edges. Very cute.

Personally, I am very allergic to cats, but have always loved them, so I was able to live my feline dreams vicariously through the Hero.

I’m still new to reading isekai stories (there’s two that I really like) but animals getting isekai’d is cute. Four fantasy beings encounter the Cat Delivery System in Another World. The Hero, Demon Lord, Lady Knight Captain and the Elf Queen all get cats in a world that doesn’t know what cats are.

The story is very cute and funny. Of course, if you love cats you should check it out. My favorites were the Demon Lord and the Elf Queen. I think the craziness in the Elf Queen’s story could have gone further!
