If you know me you know I was am obsessed with Damned, the fourth book in the United Series. I thought there was no way David could pull it off again. But he did. United brought everyone, from all the books, together for the final show down. Ardra, Aziza, Luke and Hayden have to figure out how to get along and work together, or fail to survive, along with the rest of humankind.
This whole series takes you on a crazy journey that you can't help but hang on tight for the ride. There's ups and downs for everyone, you'll laugh so hard and might even cry. It is so worth it.
I envy David and his easy way with words; I need them to write this review. But simply enough, I loved the book, I loved the series, I love David and I love Luke.

***United is the fifth book in the United Series. I would advise on reading the whole series in order.

The best deep breath ending!

In my head, I imagine when authors write a series that it’s much like running a race and getting to the final book in a series is like that final mile. They’re seeing that banner with the flags waving and people cheering for them to cross the finish line. If they can get across that line, they can take that big exhale. Now, that’s probably not true, but in my head that was how it worked.

I am glad authors don’t run races in their writing.

David Michael’s United, the fifth and final book of The United Series, is full of unexpected twists and new characters. He brought the storylines of the previous four books together in a seamless way that led me to believe these characters have always been a part of each other’s lives. The storyline of United allows for each of the characters to develop in ways that made me feel that they all contributed to the book in their own important way. I loved the impact of the Immortals in this book. The creativity in the development of their interactions was captivating. It drew me in and made me want to live in that world for a little while.

This book closes up the magical world of The United Series with romance, humor and action. The final battle made me want to yell out loud and the Epilogue made me sigh in happiness. I can say with absolute certainty - Well Done, David! I loved the book and the Series!

“The war is upon us.” What a powerful way to end a blurb for a book! Coming down from the high of Book IV, “Damned”, I wasn't sure what I was going to get. How was Author David Michael going to wrap this up? How was it all going to come together? I was nervous, anxious, excited, and mostly just CURIOUS; I could not wait to get my hands on this last release. Titled “United” the series and final book could not be more appropriately named.

The cast of characters from our previous books have returned and are now all interacting, learning that they need each other to face this impending war. Individually strong willed and independent, this is not without a requisite amount of clashing. How they learn and grow independently and together is the crux of this finale. Regardless of the ups and downs, they DO come together to face Chaos and Death. Four of them individually, representing Air, Fire, Earth and Water must make their stand, while the others play their own pivotal roles in support.

As in any paranormal series, all is not what it seems. Questions from the previous books are answered, and much is clarified. Once again the master of world building is at work, and somehow takes events and details that could be overwhelming and makes them interesting, captivating and suspenseful.

Beyond that, we've got the sexiness and humor again – if you want some sexy M/M with a boatload of funny, look no further. Even the M/F scenes were well written, and tinged with Mr. Michael's brand of snark, which I absolutely adore. The character interaction is witty, intelligent and yep, there's that word again, funny. Though “Damned” will always be my favorite, I truly enjoyed “United”, and I am extremely pleased with the way this series wrapped up.

Once again David Michael has given us a well written, well thought out book, with intricacies I cannot even begin to fathom. Absolutely impressive, this author's imagination.
Though the series does conclude on a positive note, I did manage to get sucker punched once again... with a hit I did not see coming. At least this time the blow was softened with some good news, a happy ending, and a joyous outlook toward the future. So yes, all is forgiven. All's well that ends well in this fantastic paranormal series.

What's next for Author David Michael now that his first series is complete? I have no idea, but what I do know is that I will be reading it, no questions asked.

Wow, Wow, Wow, what an awesome finale to The United Series! I have really enjoyed reading and reviewing this Series. It is an awesome Series!

United, Book 5 sees everyone come together to figure out how to win the battle between Light and Dark. Luke, Hayden, Sarah, Makkar, Aziza, Landon, Ardra and Kaiser all have to come together to find the gods that can help them in the battle. The only problem is to try and get them to fight with them and it is no easy task. Luke, Hayden, Aziza and Ardra, being the people with mother nature's powers, Earth, Wind, Fire and Water, are the key to winning the battle between Light and Dark. When they first meet, they all dislike one another but they are forced to work together otherwise them and everyone will die.

It's brilliant reading it and i loved every minute. It kept me on my the edge of my seat as i wasn't sure how it was going to end. Who was going to survive? was a big question i was asking throughout the story as they do get into a lot of sticky situations especially when talking and persuading each god to help them. Every character was totally awesome and Luke i found very funny especially when he let his mouth run wild.

Fantastic Book and truly amazing ending to the Series!

When two unlikely sets of friends are thrown together by fate in order to save the world things get interesting rather quickly. Ardra along with her boyfriend Kaiser, best friend Aziza, and her boyfriend Landon have faced Chaos and survived even at a great cost to them. They thought they were through with the immortals, they were wrong.

Luke, Mak, Sarah, and Hayden have been through hell and back being attacked by archangels they don’t want to take on the powers of light and dark. Together these eight people need to ask the immortals for help, keep each other safe, and defeat the powers of light and dark.

This book has a great story line. You can’t seem to go wrong when you have magic, immortals, and a battle between good and evil. United brings together all of those and mixes in a little sex along the way. The personalities of the gods they encounter are priceless. I’m a huge ancient Rome/Greece fan and I felt their personalities were spot on. The love story within this story makes you laugh, make cry, and makes you want to reach in the book and high five them.

I am a fan of the sexual aspects of books. This storyline however, was so great that I found that the sexual aspects were just an added bonus.

Save the universe

Another heart pounding adventure with heartbreak. Can they save the universe? What will it cost them in the end? Will they get to live out their lives the way they want? Must read the series to find out the answers. When all is said and done you won't be disappointed.
