Brew is the first book in the NOLA REBELS MC spin-off and book 1 in the highly anticipated Nomad Brothers series. All of the books can be read stand-alone.Blurb
Brew
They say that no man is an island
But they clearly haven’t met me
When I lost the woman most precious to me
You could say I changed
I wasn’t always the bitter, wretched man I am now
My soul was tortured
Now I spend my life seeking revenge
Until she came into my life
Erica
Her and her kid
Now I can’t shake them because she works for me
So I’ll do what I always I’ll pretend they don’t exist
The only thing wrong with that?
No matter where I turn, there she is
She won’t back down
But she hasn’t met the real me
The dark man behind the mask
The man who takes what he wants
I really am that beastly
And soon she’s going to find out exactly how pitch-black I can be
Brew is book 1 in the NOLA REBELS MC spin-off series; The Nomad Brothers
Mackenzy Fox is an author of M.C. badass and contemporary enemies to lovers themed romance novels. When she’s not writing she loves vegan cooking, walking her beloved pooch’s, reading books and is an expert on online shopping. She’s slightly obsessed with drinking tea, testing bubbly Moscato, watching home decorating shows and has a black belt in origami. She strives to live a quiet and introverted life in Western Australia’s North West with her hubby, twin sister and her dogs.
I LOVE BREW ! I loved him in the Nola series, I love the nomad brother, I was praying the author had plans to give them books. Brew, Haze and Logan were always interesting to me , specially the first 2 ! Specially Brew and his back story ! The Nola Rebels MC series and now the spinoff The Nomad Brothers series is not life changing MC series BUT HEAR ME OUT, if you want a good time, romantic MMC’s that are DOWN BAD for their women, spice, big bad tattoo bikers who fight against sex trafficking, pedophilia and domestic abuse all in a light way… look no further you found it. Those bikers are violent and as bad ass as it comes when needed but the books are focus on the romance so they are not dark even though they have those elements. I love this series because I am obsessed with bikers romance and this one (meaning the Nola and the nomad brothers) are good books to unwind from all the dark and heavy ones I normally read it. The story here between Brew and Erica (would you look at that. She has my name and I wish I had a Brew) is been a long time coming…. He is the type that barely speaks two words to anyone, and even though they both been harboring this feeling for 2 years, he still barely speaking to her. It was past time to man up and man up he DID ! Gosh darn it the mouth on this man…….. when he finally decided to give her his words most of came out of his mouth was pure filthy and deliciousness 🥵🥵🥵🥵 He will leave you panting with his filthy mouth alone so just imagine the rest. Now I can’t wait for Haze ! Come on baby I am ready for you !
Thought this was a really good read. I love a good grumpy/sunshine and Brew really delivered all the grumpiness, lol. Fast paced with lots of action and just enough angst to keep it moving. Can't wait to get the brother's story!
✨️ARC Read Star Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice Rating: 🌶🌶.5 HEA: 🌟🌟🌟/3 ❗️Safety & Small Spoilers Below❗️
📌 Triggers: Sex-Trafficking (on-page; Heavily Discussed) Religious Trauma (on-page) Violence/Murder (on-page) Death of a Loved-one (past)
📌 No Cheating/Sharing
📌 No OWD: Been awhile for the MMC
📌 No OMD: FMC hasn't been with anyone since her ex-husband
📌 MMC was in a serious relationship in the past, with a woman named Valencia. But, she was trafficked and murdered after him & her broke up. MMC vowed to get revenge and this is a major plot line of the book. However, MMC truly does love the FMC and isn't comparing her to his dead ex. He doesn't make FMC feel like a second choice.
Brew is a bitter, broken man consumed by loss and revenge, wearing his cruelty like armor. He doesn’t want redemption—and definitely doesn’t want the woman who works for him and her child slowly breaking down his walls. But Erica is impossible to ignore. She’s strong, stubborn, and refuses to be intimidated by the darkness he hides behind.
The tension between them is relentless, fueled by forced proximity, raw attraction, and a hero who knows he’s dangerous but can’t stay away. Brew’s descent into obsession is as compelling as it is unsettling, and watching him struggle between the beast and the man he could be is addicting.
This is not a gentle love story. It’s gritty, possessive, and soaked in pain—where love is earned through fire.
Perfect for readers who love dark romance, morally gray antiheroes, single-mom dynamics, and obsession-heavy tension.
Another phenomenal read. I don’t know what kind of meds are in these books, but each of them swallows me whole and I can’t take a break! I absolutely devoured this book and loved every piece of it. The Angst, the suspense, the unexpected, the twists and turns, the characters m, it’s just fantastic. A new series I’m already obsessed with. Erica is a loving and caring single mom that escaped a cult. Brew is a biker with a lot of guilt and seeking revenge for what they did to the love of his life. He didn’t expect the attraction for Erica and the way she is. They are kind of both neat freaks lol He is grumpy and doesn’t like people. But for Erica, he is willing to bring all his walls down. And down you will go with them! A must read!
5⭐️ 3🌶️
Thank you TAA and Mackenzy for another favorite book
This is the first in a new series, which is a spin-off from the Nola Rebels MC, and this is Brew and Erica’s story. Brew is a broken man who is haunted by his past, and is fueled with revenge, with Erica who is a single mom to her daughter Olive. Erica works for Brew, and wherever he turns she is there, and is slowly breaking through the walls around his heart. This is a well written, slow burn, easy to read, action packed story, with grumpy / sunshine, opposites attract, touch her an die vibes, overprotective protector, workplace romance, vengeance, healing, humour, witty banter, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, and tragic, dark romance. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
If you love your MC books full of angst, heartbreak and steam this is a book you want to get your hands on. Brew was a haunted, grumpy biker who when put in the path of a woman who was in a cult and now has broken away with her daughter. Brew’s life changes and I was rooting for this family throughout the book. It was a real page turner that ran wild with my emotions and make it a book that I recommend,
This is the first of the series, this is also a spin off series, and in my opinion, written with the assumption that the reader has read the previous series. Erica works for Brew, she escaped a cult situation with her daughter and is now just hoping that her past doesn't find her. The attraction has been building between the two, but with him being her boss and all the other stuff, Erica doesn't even entertain the idea of something more... until Brew makes the first move. What happens when Erica's past catches up with her, will Brew keep Erica and Olive safe?
This was a good start to the series; there's a lot going on. At some points I felt it was a bit too much, but again, that's just my opinion. We do get some nice naughty bits and chemistry. I felt this was just ok and give it 4 stars.
🔥 Grumpy x Sunshine 🖤 Broken Hero 💔 Tragic Past 👩👧 Single Mom 🏍️ MC Romance 💣 Revenge 💫 Emotional Healing ❤️🔥 Slow Burn 🏠 Found Family ✨ Redemption 🧨 Forced Proximity 💋 Opposites Attract 🪶 Second Chance at Love 🧡 Protective Hero 🌑 Dark Romance
Star: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Brew is the explosive first book in The Nomad Brothers series, a raw, emotional, and unapologetically gritty spin-off from Mackenzy Fox’s NOLA Rebels MC world. While it’s set in the same universe, this series easily stands on its own, opening the door to a new generation of outlaws, lost souls, and broken hearts searching for redemption.
From the very first chapter, Brew establishes itself as a story about pain, vengeance, and the slow, reluctant rediscovery of hope. Brew is a man haunted by loss someone who once loved deeply and paid the ultimate price for it. What’s left of him is a shell of the man he used to be: cold, bitter, and hell-bent on revenge. His voice is harsh and unapologetic, but it’s also heartbreakingly human. You can feel the weight of his grief in every action and every cruel word he uses to push people away.
Then comes Erica. She’s the kind of heroine who doesn’t fade quietly into the background. Strong, determined, and fiercely protective of her child, she walks into Brew’s world and refuses to back down even when he makes it his mission to keep her at arm’s length. The dynamic between them is pure fire. Their chemistry crackles from their very first interaction, and it only intensifies as the walls Brew has built begin to crumble.
One of Mackenzy Fox’s greatest strengths as a writer is her ability to create deep, layered characters who exist in moral grey zones. Brew isn’t your typical romantic hero; he’s rough, damaged, and capable of things that most people wouldn’t forgive. Yet, Mackenzy Fox somehow makes you see the man behind the darkness, the one still capable of love even when he believes he’s unworthy of it. Erica matches him perfectly, she’s his opposite in all the best ways, bringing a sense of humanity and warmth that feels like a balm against his jagged edges.
The story strikes a perfect balance between dark and emotional. There’s grit and danger, as expected from an MC romance, but it’s the emotional journey that stands out. Mackenzy Fox doesn’t just give us a love story she gives us healing, redemption, and the idea that even the most broken souls can find their way back to something real. The inclusion of Erica’s child adds an extra layer of vulnerability and hope, grounding the story in a raw, relatable humanity.
Mackenzy Fox’s writing is vivid, immersive, and deeply emotional. The pacing is steady but addictive, the dialogue sharp and authentic, and the world-building of the MC universe continues to shine full of loyalty, brotherhood, and unspoken rules that shape every choice the characters make. Fans of the NOLA Rebels MC series will appreciate the cameos and connections, but newcomers will find this the perfect entry point into Mackenzy Fox’s world of love, loss, and second chances.
Brew is a powerful beginning to what promises to be a gripping new series. It’s dark, emotional, and beautifully written — a story about love’s ability to break you apart and then put you back together stronger than before.
Brew is book 1 of The Nomad Brothers: A NOLA Rebels MC Spin-off. I love a spicy, can't put down, MC romance and Mackenzy once again delivered!
Brew is a member of the NOLA Rebels MC and runs a secrety buisness with his brother Haze, they are known as the Nomad brothers. Brew is known as being grumpy, doesn't talk much and is obsessed with Erica. It has taken him 2 years to even speak to her. He is her boss and he hasn't been with anyone since she walked into his life with her daughter Olive.
He was in Special Ops before joing the MC due to being injured. He had a girlfriend that left him because she wanted to see the world and not settle down like he wanted. When she left she was trafficked and killed. He promised to get vengence for her family and has blamed himself for years for not going with her.
Erica escaped a cult with her her daughter Olive and her sister in law Amber. She was married off at a very young age to Amber's brother who had several wifes. He was found guilty of human trafficking after she left and the cult was demolished and he was placed in prision. She has been hiding from him but he has found her.
Emotions are running high, Erica is battling her inner thoughts and Brew is trying to finish his vengence so he can give himself fully to Erica.
Brew is possessive and needs to protect Erica and Olive. They have fallen so hard for each other. I love the way she puts him in his place that makes him want her more. He wants everything with her and so does she. They just need to get past the threats of their past. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Erica has only been with her ex and was taught intimacy without being married is a sin. Brew shows Erica what it is to be pleased and she loves being bad for him. She has never had a man please her or take care of her the way Brew does. He brings out her naughty side, makes her feel safe, and they cant get enough of each other. 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶.
Mackenzy definitely knows how to write a good MC story, she is one of my top favorites and I can't wait for Haze and Willow's story.
What another fantastic book Mackenzy has brought to us!
Brew was not only a fun read for me, but it also helped me escape my reading slump, as it had all the right elements to keep me engaged and on the edge of my seat. It started strong, and I just couldn’t wait to find out how Brew and Erica’s story was going to pan out over the course of the book.
When I tell you that I devoured this book in one sitting, I’m being competed honest. Mackenzy hasn’t written a book yet that I haven’t read or liked, and I love that!
I adored both Brew and Erica; they were such great characters, and I loved that we got a deep dive into their past and we truly got to know them, not to mention this was the best way to kick off the Nola Rebels MC Spin-Off series.
Brew was a phenomenal MMC, and gosh, did I wish I were in Erica’s shoes at times. He had great character growth, and I’m glad he found love. He’s been through a lot, but he was still able to overcome it, and I liked that about him. Of course, he’s like the best man because he really cares about Erica and does everything in his power to make sure both her and her daughter, Olive, are well cared for and looked after.
Erica, sweet sweet Erica, has got to be my favorite fmc that I’ve read about in quite a bit. She is such a strong, independent single mother who doesn’t take crap from anyone, which makes her truly a badass. Her fierceness and overall protectiveness of her daughter are so sweet that I just loved the way she wanted to protect her in any way she could.
I loved and adored every single character, but my favorite had to be Olive because, honestly, she was so stinkin’ cute and not to mention funny.
This book was definitely a five-star read for me, and I highly recommend starting it or any Mackenzy Fox books for that matter. She just has a way of bringing amazing books with hot MC storylines, including great characters!
I loved still being in the Nola Rebels MC world with this book!! It has definitely been missed by me. This book follows Brew one of the Nomad brothers who is simply so mysterious and grumpy you can't help but fall for him, but in particular, I loved his interactions with his admin Erica who also happens to be a single mom who escaped from the cult she was in and thankfully landed herself in the right hands. The way they interacted was so awkward but funny at the same time, and it really made what was growing between them that much better.
Erica is seriously such a strong woman in my opinion after everything she had gone through as with Brew and the traumatic past he had in relation to a past girlfriend who died at the hands of traffickers and he made it his life mission to dispose of everyone involved and that is just what he did.
The build-up between Erica and Brew was seriously hot and I can get Erica's resistance but I just wanted her to dive straight in like Brew did pretty much and I loved that for him. The chemistry between them was simply on fire to say the least.
This book had so many unexpected twists and turns like you can expect in a book by Mackenzy and especially in this universe for sure. Mackenzy likes to give us a near-perfect ending and then mess it up with a surprise, never a good one but always seems to create more of a solid foundation between our characters like this one did. I was so shocked at the near ending we had for this book but of course, it worked out for the better but I still did not anticipate that at all.
I loved reading Brew so much, it brings me so much joy to get back into this universe and from the sounds of it we can expect more and I am really looking forward to it!!
Brew is the walking posterboy (well man) for the trope “Touch her and ☠️” even before Erica is really his, he is extremely protective of her.
Erica has been working for the Nomad Brothers for 2 years since she escaped the cult and her ex-husband is behind bars. Her life is pretty much work and being a single mom. Of course she has all her friends in the NOLA MC too. Erica is quiet, shy, hardworking and an amazing mom to Olive. Brew is the exact opposite. He is broody, grumpy, quiet but his presence is loud. And he has been secretly wanting Erica for the past two years. He is on a vengeance run to hunt down the man who is at fault for the unaliving of his ex-girlfriend Valencia, and he is fiercely loyal to his promises to get revenge and to protect innocence.
These two are probably one of my favorite couples from Mackenzy. I love have Erica comes out of her shell when she is with Brew(Dylan). The way they can read each other so easily and want the same thing in life. And Brew is ready to give the world to Erica from the moment he touched her. These two can burn the universe down woth the dirtytalk and amazing chemistry.
If you love the NOLA rebels MC series from Mackenzy then this is an absolute MUST read. And if you are new to Mackenzy’s book you can easily start with this one, but also know that episodes and couples from the NOLA series is mentioned in this story, but is explained for new readers to catch up easily.
@Mackenzy has me absolutely hooked each time i grab a book of her. Immediately sucked into the universe
A Nola Rebels Spinoff and the first book in a brand new series !! Brew The Nomad Brothers Book 1 ) omg guys !! What an emotional rollercoaster that grabs onto your heart , sucks you right in and does not let go . So it’s just about 1 am in the morning, and yes you are right , I just spent the whole night and most of the early morning reading this absolutely fantastic story . A new generation of outlaws , Single Mom , Broken MMC’s , Second chances , opposites attract, revenge, secrets, tragedy, emotional healing, forced proximity, grumpy / sunshine, obstacles, love , passion, family , friendships and much much more . I have to say I was not prepared for Brew and Erica’s story . Not prepared at all . For the way both characters were going to resonate with me . Not for the way everything they went through was going to touch my heart ❤️. The way I smiled , laughed, cried , yelled and cheered so freaking hard . This story really was the perfect blend of Dark , Beautiful and extremely emotional. Two people who are complete opposites in every single way somehow end up being the perfect match, like two pieces of a puzzle 🧩. The dark , raw and grittiness, the steamy , heartbreaking and heartfelt moments, the angst , the witty banter , the drama , the intrigue and suspense . No sleep was had , no sleep at all , because yes it’s just that addictive and as hard as you try it’s almost impossible to put it down !!!
Brew has had my attention for quite a few books now (from the NOLA Rebels series that is), and I was so excited to read his story. The fact that he was getting together with Erica just made it all that more interesting. Erica has quite the past with her ex-husband and the cult like community she was in for many years. Her escape from there was not easy, but she made it out and was able to reconnect with her daughter.
I love that she works for Brew and has really established herself at the business. She absolutely helps things run a lot more smoothly.
The relationship between Brew and Erica was very enjoyable. They connected relatively quickly, and things heated up just as fast. Once the seal was broken they were all in. Just needed that little push to get things going. I'm all for their romance, and the family that they are building with Olive.
The drama/action/suspense element wasn't as strong as previous books by Mackenzy. To be honest as I was reading I wasn't certain who the suspense storyline would be about as both Brew and Erica had things going on. So when it was all playing out, I wasn't holding my breath as much as in the NOLA books. But that's okay! Not every book is going to have those more explosive moments. I'm just finding out that I enjoy it a bit more when it does.
Looking forward to Haze's story to see how he and Willow get back together. I have a feeling she will be fighting him tooth and nail until she ultimately folds.
*Brew* is the first book in the new *Nomad Brothers* series, and let me just say, it’s a fantastic way to kick things off! I was completely hooked from the very first page. Brew and Erica's slow-burning romance makes you feel every up and down of their journey together.
Both characters have had their fair share of struggles. Brew is dealing with the heartache of a lost love and is on a quest for revenge and redemption. He feels like he doesn’t deserve another chance at love—until he meets Erica and her adorable daughter, Olive. Erica herself has a complicated past; she bravely escaped her ex's crazy cult to give Olive a better life. Now, her ex is in jail for trafficking. As Erica works with Brew and his brothers, the tension only grows!
Their slow-burning romance is just perfect as they heal together, and you can feel their connection growing stronger and deeper. When Erica's past threatens to catch up with her, Brew will do anything to keep her and Olive safe.
This book was such a delightful read! It can easily stand alone, but it’s also a spin-off from the *NOLA Rebels MC* series, so if you’re a fan, you’ll love seeing familiar faces pop up. I can't wait to see what happens next in this series!
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Okay it is only fair, Mackenzy, to declare Brew as MINE. I love him, like I knew I would, and my heart was his from the very first time I met him and with his own story, more so. How he became was explained, and I felt my heart break alittle more for him during this, and how he was with Erica.....she saw him. And he, saw her. Because, Erica has had her own trauma, trauma she still fights and hides her daughter Olive from. Her love for her was what any mother would do and these two could not be more perfect. And ma'am, their physical connection, holy moly, 6 Hail Marys and daily confession damn that was fine!!
There is always so much more to a character who has been labelled a grump, a broody, one word, sarcastic, blunt man, and the depth of Brew (Dylan) was absolutely endearing, yes endearing, and wishing that their story never ended. I could have kept reading their story, but am sure we will see more of them in the coming books. Although there is the relationship between Erica and Brew, it is also the sibling relationship which we learn more about, and the ribbing but also love that runs deep thru this book that has set us up for amazing books to come, next being Haze. Mackenzy, I absolutely love your men, MC is now one of my all time favourite genres, and always wants me wanting to read more from you. Thank you, Brew was worth waiting for.
Erica escaped from a cult, determined to give her daughter Olive the safe life they never had. Working as the receptionist at Brew’s security business was meant to be a quiet fresh start… except Brew is anything but quiet. He’s intense, intimidating, sexy as sin with a darkness in his eyes that warns everyone else to stay away. Everyone except Erica, who sees the real him underneath.
Brew is a gruff MC member with a personal vendetta and a protective streak that borders on feral. As he and his brothers dismantle a trafficking ring piece by piece, revenge claws stronger at him every day. The one thing he refuses to taint with that darkness is Erica, but wanting her and keeping his distance are two very different things.
When their chemistry finally snaps, it ignites. Brew makes it crystal clear that Erica and Olive are his to protect, cherish and fight for. But with Erica’s past hunting her down and Brew’s vengeance reaching boiling point, the danger circling them threatens everything they’re finally allowing themselves to feel.
This story blended heat, heart and danger so perfectly. Erica was resilient and brave while Brew was the grumpy, filthy-mouthed protector who had been falling for her long before she knew. And the way he folded Olive into his heart just as fiercely? Completely melted me.
Haven't read an MC story in a while. And I enjoyed this one. And cant wait to read the rest of the Nomad brothers.
Brew is on a task to rid the world of all the traffickers he can find. He ia chasing a group called The Grid who killed his girlfriend. That is all he lives for now. He runs a security business with his brother Haze and is part of the Nola Rebels MC. He is also attracted to Erica, their receptionist. But he thinks his not a good person and ahe deserves better.
Erica escaped her abusive ex husband with her daughter. Her ex was also involved in a trafficking ring. Now she works for the Nomad security and she ia happy raising her daughter. She also has some hot chemistry with one of her bosses, Brew. But the guy hardly speaks to her.
So when he starts spending time with her, she is conflicted with her past growing up religious and her attraction towards Brew.
This is the start to a new series by this author. And the chemistry between Brew and Erica was off the charts HOT. She is the ligh to his darkness. And the more time he spends with her the more he finds the a different side of himself.
The characters in this story was amazing and you totally get sacked into the romance, the suspense and definitely the spice🥰
Mackenzy is Queen of Dark MC Romance and she has started the new series just as fantastic. This series is NOLA REBELS MC spin-off, The Nomads Brothers. We met Brew in the previous series and know that he has a dark past. He lost someone precious to trafficking and he has been seeking revenge since then. He is grumpy, dangerous and now can't stop thinking of his receptionist. Erica has been through so much and she is starting a new life with her teenage daughter Olive. Escaping a cult and the Mafia, she is super strong now. I loved seeing how she was getting stronger and trying to move past what she was drilled to believe in. She also has had the hots for her grumpy boss. She is all sunshine and treats them with her baking. They were perfect for each other and so hot. The heat could be felt through the pages. He Falls 1st and very hard. I do love how he was with her. Only problem is will his past trump what she has with him? Loved seeing all my favourite characters from the NOLA Rebels. There is a lot of unaliving and revenge. The spice is very hot and I can't wait for rest of the brothers stories.
“You look so f*ckin’ hot all messy. I think I’d like to keep you.”
“You just wanna be bad, don’t you, angel?” “When I’m with you, I want to be everything.”
I love a good dark MC romance, and this book was amazing!!! I absolutely loved this storyline of the dark and broody MC biker and the feisty heroine who brings him back to life. This book was original, exciting, and page-turning. This book is a standalone, but I recommend starting with Cash in this spin-off series, called NOLA Rebels MC. I enjoyed how Mackenzy Fox created a world filled with drama, action, mystery, and suspense. The angst and spice in this book were spot on and did not disappoint. I thought the characters were complex, with heartbreaking backstories, and their chemistry was intense and undeniable. I loved the banter between the main characters, and how they danced around their feelings for each other had to be my favorite parts in this book. I am so ready for Haze!!! I shall patiently wait, or try to.
Erica was feisty, independent, and loved her family. Her circumstances in life were heartbreaking, but I loved her determination and strength to get what she wanted. She was a momma bear and learning to live her own life. Brew was guarded, gruff, and grumpy. I loved his protectiveness with Erica and his possessiveness that grew throughout this book for her and her kiddo. They had such a beautifully written romance and loved how their feelings progressed through this book. They were kismet, and their love was epic.-By Brooke
Brew has been a man that’s caught my attention since Nola and I wanted his story so bad! And lovely Mackenzy answered my wish! His book is the first in this spin off from my favorite MC series Nola Rebels.
And if you go back to my October posts you can see every delicious cover and get a little laugh as a fangirl! Anyway this is Brew and Erica’s story. Brew is a very interesting character a broken man who is propelled by a deep seated revenge. Erica works for Brew… enter workplace romance 🥰 … she’s a single mom to sweet Olive. And Erica is the repair crew slowly breaking back his walls and barricades.
As always Mackenzy gives us all the things- an action packed story, slooowwww burn, her famous over protective MMC, witty banter, emotional trauma and healing, hot chemistry, a touch of dark romance, and characters that burrow themselves deep into your soul and stay there long after you have finished the book.
So what are you waiting for come fan girl with me and binge read this book PLUS all 15 that’s right 15 incredible stories in the Nola Rebels. PSA Tag is mine lol

This book was perfection 👌 Mackenzy Fox has done it again with this new MC spinoff series which focuses more on the security business but still features members of the MC from the NOLA Rebels MC series.
Brew is a grumpy, tattooed member of the MC whose tortured past makes it difficult for him to open his heart. Erica has escaped the cult which she married into and is trying to build a new life for her and her teenage daughter.
Erica works in Brew’s security business so they get to know each other at work. There is an underlying chemistry between them and once they give in to the temptation, sparks start flying and it is hot.🔥
From the very beginning I loved the storyline and was rooting for Brew and Erica. Their love was fast moving but it was perfect for them somehow.
There was danger lurking as there always is in the world of the NOLA MC but with the MC behind them, Brew and Erica are able to find their HEA. I loved reading about the other guys in the MC again and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series with Brew’s brother Haze.
📚📚📚 This one was such a great read! I binged it in two sittings and I’m just so excited for the rest of this spin off series! Brew and Erica were the perfect start! The slow burn had me clicking my kindle so fast just dying for the moment! When it happened ugh it was just so good. Their chemistry you could feel just coming out of the book and their banter I ate it up! Some moments had me holding my breath waiting for the danger to drop but Brew will do everything to protect the ones he love. Overall without giving to much away I highly recommend!
📚📚📚 If you like to read: - Protector - He falls harder - Touch her and 💀💀 - He’s a grump - He’s all in - Single mom - He adores her … You should definitely check this out

Thank you so much for sending me a copy for an honest review in my own words. #giftedcopy
QOTD✨what’s something you enjoy doing fun? Or what’s your favorite trope?
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
This is the first book in The Nomad Brothers Series. It is the story of Brew and Erica. I will go ahead and warn you that this book will break your heart at times and is full of angst. Brew is a man who knows loss. He has been dealing with the pain of what happened to someone he loved for a while. The man has lived a nightmare and paid the price for it too. He is a shell of the man he use to be and is basically just functioning for day to day. He is very Cold and bitter and really wants the revenge he is so desperate to get. You can feel this man's grief bleeding off the pages of this book. Erica is one strong determined woman who is fiercely protective of her child. When she walks into Brew world everything is going to change for them. She is a woman who knows what she wants and nothing will get it her way. No matter how hard Brew tries to push her away. These two have some chemistry going on between them. It is pure fire but Brew is fighting it with all that he is. Will Brew open himself and his heart to woman again? You have to read and find out. I loved every single second of this book and will really miss reading about these characters. You do not want to miss this book.
I would like to start by saying thank you to TAA and Mackenzie Fox for the ARC in exchange for my honest review!
Brew was an extremely emotional, dark and intense book. I think Mackenzie Fox did a phenomenal job writing a captivating storyline. I was hooked immediately and my attention never wavered. The storyline felt very well paced and I believe that Mackenzie did a great touching on sensitive topics with care.
Brew is such an interesting MMC. He is consumed by grief and his need for revenge due to the tragic loss of his ex. I loved watching Erica catch Brew's attention although he tried tirelessly to keep her at arms length.
Erica is strong, determined, stubborn and such a good mother. Her past was super interesting and I genuinely loved that it felt unique. Her relationship with Olive felt very heartfelt and tender... but I also adored her relationship with Brew. Like I loved seeing her refuse to be intimidated by Brew.
Brew and Erica's chemistry was unmatched. The way that Brew takes care of Erica, especially after her past, was everything! I really loved reading their story unfold.
Would I suggest this to a friend? Yes. Would I reread? Yes. Would I like a trophy? Yes.
↓↓ I was so happy to know we were getting a book about the Nomad brothers and what a great start of the new series with Brew.
This was dark and explosive. Brew has had a pretty painful past and this has set his life for a path of vengeance and revenge for the ones that wronged him and his ex. His path is one of grief, healing and finding love again when he never thought it was possible.
Erica is a force to reckon with. She is strong, protective, feisty, and loyal. She is someone that no matter what life throws at her, she pushes through and preservers. She is such an incredible mom and makes sure to always make sure to put Olive first. Might I say that Olive is absolutely adorable!!
These two have a slow burn but it's needed. They both have some trauma and a crazy past. I love their connection and how open and vulnerable they were.
Great start to the series and I can't wait for the other Nomad brothers and their story.

Holy cow - I am wholeheartedly in love with this book! Everything about this book was so intense in the best way possible. The amount of passion and emotion poured into each chapter was fabulous! This book was wrote with such a high degree of emotions, suspense, and intensity.
I’ve read the rest of the NOLA Rebels series but Brew has become my favorite! This man is rough around the edges and in control of everything. The moments when he melts on his knees for his woman were perfection. The undying worship and love that he poured into Erica was godsent. His filthy mouth combined with his pure need to protect just grabbed my heart with all its power.
Erica is so admirable as a female lead because she’s not only a single mother but she’s a powerhouse. She spits out sass at a man half her size, bows down to no one, and protects those she loves with such fierceness. The connection between her and Brew was pure passion and loyalty. She would do anything for her man as he would do for her. She was my favorite character in the entire book as she really fought hard for her redemption story that she so deserved.
-Romance -Single mum -He falls first -Mutual pining
If there’s one thing everyone knows about me, it’s that I love a good MC romance and this one was written by an Australian author, which makes it even better for me 💕
This story follows Brew and Erica, coworkers who haven’t spoken much in years… until they start reconnecting. Their chemistry builds slowly, and you can feel the tension between them.
But the absolute highlight of the book 👉 Brew’s bond with Erica’s daughter, Olive. She’s a single mum who’s been hiding from her dangerous ex ,now in prison but still a threat, and Brew steps into full protective-mode the second he realises she might not be safe.
He doesn’t hesitate. “You’re coming with me. You’re staying with me.” And from there… everything kicks off.
This book has twists, turns, and moments I genuinely didn’t see coming. I loved not knowing where things would end up and I really enjoyed experiencing mackenzys writing style for the first time.
Thanks to mackenzyfoxbooks and theauthor.agency for an arc of this book appreciate it 💕
