We wanted to create a space where anyone who is feeling sad or alone could come and feel ... well, not so alone. So welcome to the Sad Ghost Club!'
A heart-warming series about friendship, compassion and finding your kindred spirits.
When one sad ghost, alone at a crowded party, spies another sad ghost across the room, what happens next changes everything. Because that night, they leave the party and start the Sad Ghost Club - a secret society for the anxious and alone, a club for people who think they don't belong.
Follow the Sad Ghost Club as they navigate the joys and complexities of opening up their community - and their hearts - to new members.
In Volume 5, the Sad Ghost Club organise a fundraiser, but one of its key members is suspiciously absent. Can the rest of the team rally together to take on the challenge, and find a way to support their missing member?
Stunningly illustrated, this is Volume 5 in the stunning graphic novel series, for fans of Heartstopper and Jennifer Niven, and for anyone who's ever felt invisible.

I received a review copy from the publisher in preparation for a UKYASpotlight post. It has not affected my opinions.
For the final volume sees the ghost club organise a fundraiser but SG is being weird and so Rue and Socks have to take up all the slack.
This is a final story about growth and moving on - about how scary that can be but also the courage it takes to do it. It shows just how much all three have grown since their introductions in volumes 1 and 2. I really liked how this was shown at the end through the "hanging up of the sheet", showing that the character is ready to interact with the world without a sheet to hide behind.
It wraps everything up nicely, and I liked that there is a definitive end to the series (though the instagram will keep going!) It feels very complete and bittersweet!
This is still such a cute series. I can't believe there are five instalments and they were all good and had a fun, interesting storyline. Kind of sad that this one concludes the story.
For this final volume we see the Sad Ghost Club organise a fundraiser. However, while doing so SG is being weird and so Rue and Socks have to take over and pick up the slack a little.
This is whole series is a story about growth and moving on, about how scary it can all be but also the courage it takes to do it. It shows just how much all three of our main ghosties have grown since their introductions in volumes 1 and 2. I really liked the imagery of "hanging up of the sheet" at the end, it shows that SG is ready to go out into the real world without a sheet to hide behind.
This volume really wraps everything up nicely, and I liked that there is a definitive end to the series. It feels complete but also definitely bittersweet!
The ghost club is back again for the last rodeo in the series I have absolutely loved this series so much. It has been so refreshing to read about other fellow ghosties who have different mental health struggles.
The ghosts are back for the last time and this time, it starts back where it left off at their camp out night. Where some of the ghosts share some exciting news that made them follow their gut. Another ghost seems a little off but it's all because they are planning their future. With anxiety flaring and sadness following what is going to happen to the sad ghost club and the ghosties left behind?
I loved this, it was such a good way to finish off the series.
Lize brings this beautiful series to an end with all the love and anxiety we've come to expect from our little group of ghosts who've all become a little less ghostly over the past 4 books.
In this the ghosts start to consider the future and what and where their passions might take them now they have a little more confidence and the help and support they've always deserved.
Ultimately, this was a charming and fitting end to the series. I think this whole collection has a way of making people feel comforted, along with being comical, reflective and beautiful along the way.
Such a wholesome ending to a beautiful series I will look back on fondly ❤️
The ending had me emotional. It was wonderful to watch these characters grow, especially our day one SG. I hope we will someday get a new installment about them all when they are older.
Until then, it is not good bye but see you soon, my sweet ghosties 🫶🏼
