Through Treacherous Weather

Rate this book
The four years that Fatima spent in Miami attending college were a movie, but once she graduates, Fatima decides she wants to be among family. She's older and the things that used to excite her no longer do. Everyone around her is in love, and Fatima is simply waiting on her turn while lowkey wondering if she'll follow in Trinity's footsteps as the single childless auntie. Before Fatima can even settle into adulthood, tragedy strikes leaving her in the constant company of a man that is nothing short of perfect. But she's the daughter of Wise and that makes her off limits to most men. Should she make the first move or wait on the man that doesn't need Wise's permission to go after what he wants?

Trinity has kissed enough frogs to last a lifetime. Apparently, her Prince doesn't exist, and she's found a way to be okay with that. No. matter how long she remains single, there is criteria that a man must meet to date her, and she's not interested in settling. When she meets a man that has some of the best D she's ever experienced it's disheartening that he doesn't meet her dating standards. Trinity decides to keep having fun but to keep the situation cute and casual. Until cute and casual isn't enough for her anymore.

This was a good story to catch up with the crew. I enjoyed the new characters a lot. Also, Wise is still My Man, My Man, My Man.

Great Ending

I’m glad that the whole family found love and although it started with A TON of drama, they got it together. This was a good series. Lots of 🤬, 🌶️, and 🔫. Men who aren’t all about cheating and women who understand that it’s okay to date until you feel like you’re ready to settle. I’m kind of sad that we didn’t hear much about Imani in the last couple of books. I don’t think she was mentioned in this one at all…🤔

Whheeewwwww 🔥 🔥

I loved getting an update on Wise and Chicago’s crew! I love that Fatima and Trinity found love! They were single and enjoying the single life, but now they have instant families of their own. It was crazy that Shai’Ann wasn’t Grey’s daughter. He was solid though. In the end, he has his own kid on the way. Trinity loved everyone’s kids all these years and her hound bae came and finally got her lol. I hate how Justice reacted, but I understand. He blamed himself for Calvin, but it wasn’t anyone’s fault. He was a lost soul. Lauren did what she had to do to get his mind right. She came back and he realized he almost lost a good thing. Glad they went on down and got married! Loved this story and this family. Ready for more 😉

This book was good overall. I loved how everyone found love in different ways—some even welcoming a baby, while others simply found a partner to share life with. However, I wasn’t a fan of how the story ended. It seems to be the author’s writing style to wrap things up abruptly, without fully closing out the storyline.

I also wish we had gotten more of Trinity’s background. The story jumps right in with her and Grey already talking, and I would’ve loved to learn more about her childhood and past relationship. While these aspects were briefly touched on, diving deeper would have added more depth to her character.

In my humble opinion, although this was a great read, the story felt a bit all over the place at times.

I like the fact that even though the book was primarily about Esco & Fatima and Grey & Trinity we still got snippets of other family members. I’m glad that Kadafi, Yaminah and Jaiseem all recovered well after being shot. I did want an update about the lawsuit Calvin’s mom filed against the group home for him sneaking out and getting unalived. I was laughing so hard when Wise TKO’d David for snatching Imani’s iPad from her and then putting David and Jewel out of Imani’s party. I’m glad that Simone is doing so much but I still don’t like her nor Sophie. Hopefully we’ll get another Christmas update on the family.

All's well that ends well...

I love that Treacherous Twins turned into so many amazing stories. Fatima and Trinity were the last of the crew living the single life, but loved stepped in and showed out. I didn't like that just as everything was coming together, it was the end of the book. The growth in Wise and Justice was unbelievable. Wise really came a long way, and still making babies at his big age. We get to see/hear about everyone except for Justice granddad. In the end, good conclusion, but I'm not opposed to Ms. Raynor spinning the block on Diamond Cove. Happy Reading Y'all!💋

Wow!

I absolutely loved this book and the entire series actually. It was great reading about some of the women in the family. Grey was definitely a great man and I’m glad that he and Trinity got together. Fatima finally got her a good man, although he came with baggage. She should have beat Heiress behind though. Well written story, flowed well, kept my attention and definitely worth reading. One thing that you can count on with this family is a wedding and children. Looking forward to reading more about them.

Love Is Priceless

This was such a beautifully written book and I enjoyed it from the beginning to very last page!!!…
Wise is such a big presence for his family and I love how they look to him as he encourages them!!!…
My whole heart smiled when he was made aware of his son’s diagnosis and of course that eased his wife!!!…
I was so happy for Trinity and Fatima, with their new found happiness!!!…When you find love and know that money has no value when you heart is experiencing such joy!!!…

Treacherous for real

Another treacherous adventure that I didn’t want to end. Love catching up with the treacherous family. Love how mature Esco and Grey approach the world of single fatherhood. These stories are so down to earth and relatable, from autism to addiction, receiving help through therapy and recovery,it makes the stories relatable. No unrealistic wealth, like most of these urban stories.
Five⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for little to no grammatical errors.

Mohegan

Raynor left room for Denim to receive a story later down the line to reconnect with his sister. Both Trinity and Grey received their happily ever after. Fatima demure growth was a result of the woman village that guided her. Grief of once past and future battling while dealing with a loss we all been or knew someone who has been/went through this trauma.

Through Treacherous Weather (Treacherous Twins Book 9)

So happy that we got a story for Fatima and Trinity. Both of them deserved all the happiness they can handle.

It was great catching up with everyone, and for a minute there, I thought Justice was going to lose Lauren. However, Wise got in his ass and he got some act right.

I love this series and this family.

Yet another great addition to The Treacherous Twins Clan

I really enjoyed hearing more about Trinity and Fatima. Very enjoyable read. The ending was a lil abrupt for me though, but it absolutely did not take away from the reading in its totality. I’m a little saddened that The Treacherous Twins journey has come to an end. Great series Natisha Raynor. Thank you for the journey!!

Always wondered how Fatima would be

I actually was shocked to see Fatima living such a soft life around such savages lol. I’m here for it though and I wish her story was a little more in depth but if the series ends here I’m not mad at it either . Everyone for a HEA in some sense or another. They don’t make them like Esco & Grey though too often ! 10/10

Too Fast

It was a really cute read. Glad we got to hear aunt Trinity's & Fatima's story, however, it ended kind of abruptly.
Need more...where does Fatima & Esco go from here? How does Trinity & Grey live happily ever after? Does Sophie stay clean and work on her relationship with her girls? What's going on with Justice and therapy?
So many questions, no answers.

Awesome Read

This family stays in some sort of dram! Fatima was meek and mild compared to the rest of the family. I like that everyone eventually found love and happiness, including Trinity. Esco and Gray were connected and that made them happy. Heiress is getting the karma that she deserves. Awesome read.

Good book

I love the book. I’m glad through out the series, everyone found their person. I believe this book could have been stretched out a little longer. It stopped to abruptly for me. There is so much story line left that I know I’m not the only one wishing it was longer. Other than the story ending abruptly, it is a must read to round out the series.

Good read

I’m most definitely toxic…. although this series was good, it never gave me the suspense n hurt or wit moment! In every situation i knew things would work out in their favor. On another note i am happy for all the love, family stability, happiness and success! Esp since it’s all of my kinfolk.

Getting caught up...

Getting caught up on all things treacherous.. Just enough drama to keep you engaged. So much to digest. Was great to get a peek of Fatima and Trinity and how they navigated finding love.

Babies Babies Babies

This was a good read. I was expecting more at the end but I enjoyed the story. I was glad to see Trinity finding love. I wasn’t shocked to see Heiress was involved, and I really thought she was involved with Fatima’s watch being stolen.

Easy Read

I love this series and this author. With that said, the story felt a bit rushed at the end. I would liked to really be able to follow a timeline. I also wish there was more focus on Fatima. Overall though it was good read.

Enjoyed from beginning to the end. Glad to see that everyone is doing well. Justice almost lost his family. Fatima and Trinity didn't act that bad. Esko and Gray top notch. Can't wait to see what's next from you.
