Crave [Dramatized Adaptation] #6, part 2

Cherish (2 of 2) [Dramatized Adaptation]

Rate this book
The sensational conclusion to the massive #1 New York Times bestselling series…

It’s been over three months since my friends and I took down Cyrus. Three months where my biggest fear was what paper was due next... But I should have known it was too good to last. Now everything is falling apart.

The Vampire Court has no king, the Dragon Court has no heart, and the Gargoyle Court has me—a teenager in way over her head. And it’s the worst possible timing, because a threat is brewing just as the Circle is collapsing.

I have no choice but to return to the Shadow Realm and face the terrifying queen who nearly ended us…and make a deal with her to save Mekhi. But this time, I’m bringing my powerful friends with me—and Hudson. Except something is wrong with him, too. He’s keeping a secret—even from me.

All I know is that everyone’s life hangs in the balance. And it’s my fault—because I still owe the Crone a favor...and now she’s come to collect.

Guuuuuys😩 this book! Tell me a book with a more wholesome ending. This entire book, not this entire series was just AMAZING. I’ve loved every single moment listening to it and once I started I just couldn’t stop. I don’t think there could’ve been a better way to end this series. 5/5⭐️.

This is the sixth book and the last, we get to see how they have to tackle their problems one last time and almost loose each other in the process. But can they make it in time to save their friend? Or is this time too much for Grace and her mate? Is this the time that will break the friends once and for all? Grace and Hudson have faced a lot together and with Grace’s promise she now has to find a way to separate two souls and somehow survive the journey. But she’s not alone, and she can only hope that they will be enough against the crone and the shadow queen. And all the monsters lurking.

This book was absolutely amazing and had me bursting out laughing more times than I can count but also sobbing. So it’s a journey for sure. But I can 10/10 times recommend this book anyway because it was absolutely amazing. This series will forever have a special place in my heart even though I’m sad to say goodbye to this world for now. But it will definitely be a re-read. So for now, all I can do is recommend that you read it!

Grace is still whiny and weak
and pathetic

giving a child powers doesn't make her strong

she is always crying about something.
omg. grow up.
she is always having panic attacks.
again, grow up.

maybe this series would have been better if most of it was told in Hudson's pov or Jaxon's pov.
since they didnt act so childish.

it was such a lost opportunity
I've never come across a series yet where vampires had powers.

like Jaxon's telekinesis
or Hudson's ummm explosion??? not sure what his magic was exactly.
that got my interest
but they ruined it with Grace's incessant whining and crying like a little baby.
or her stupid asf panic attacks.
was that really necessary???
it ruined the story.

or her incessant annoying inner dialogue
or her way over giddy about a boy touching her.
like a little girl.
omg he's touching me.
its not THAT GREAT.
jeesh. being that excited is childish.
and annoying.

OH THEN THEY MADE JAXON GAY??
SERIOUSLY??? was that necessary???
EWWW. 🤮🤮🤮
ruin it some more.

Some spoilers ahead for the whole series lol

So you want a series with emotional depth and complex characters? Witty banter and angsty love? Well go look elsewhere.

Grace is annoyingly pacifist through this entire series and everything conveniently works out because of it. Oh don’t want to kill the villain? Ok I’ll let my friends get slain instead. Yay.

How many times did we have to hear, my Hudson? Omg he knows me soooo well. Blech. Did you know he was her mate? Cuz she never says that either. Or that he has oceanic eyes? She never peers into them.

She always blames herself for every bad thing that happens and someone dies or is severely injured and it’s like bitch stop then, damn.

Feyre had watery bowls but Grace’s stomach is always twisting or roiling, tears always filling her eyes or crying, heart always clenching.

Oh did you know she’s from San Diego? She never mentions it.

I usually like Melody Muze but I think the narration made Grace even more annoying.

16 year old me would have ate this up.

So cringe. 10/10 would recommend.

I’ve finally finished this entire series. I read them and I listened to them. I took my time with both and I truly enjoyed the journey. It made me reflect on a lot of different things, the world, relationships, trust, overcoming obstacles and I think it’s going to be a wonderful series for my daughters as they get older to read as well! Hudson and Grace, their love will certainly stand the test of time! The characters development throughout the series, the action packed adventures and all the funny moments too, the banter, the heartbreaks, they all were beautifully written.

I liked it. Not as much as the previous books but liked it nevertheless.
