When he was younger you could almost always find him with a book in his hand (when he wasn’t busy with Band activities that is). As he got older, he started reading online webnovels as well. In June of 2021, after reading thousands of books, he decided to take the plunge and write a book of his own, starting with his first series, Dungeon from the Void.
He writes both high and low progression fantasy novels of varying genres, including Dungeon Core, LitRPG, Cultivation, Sci-Fi and more.
He does not use any sort of social media for his books other than Reddit, he has no Facebook pages, and his Facebook account is private and not public. Therefore if anyone finds public Facebook or other social media accounts outside of Reddit or Discord claiming to be him, they are fake.

1 star explained
This is one of multiple series by Shane, unfortunately this series is almost a carbon copy of The Winter Wolf as in both main characters get turned into super beings, both against their will, both have siblings that also change races, and most annoying is both grow in power too fast and gain hundreds of levels yet we don’t see any skills, or abilities they may gain, oh, and both gain bonded pets that are basically their Kids.
It’s so damn annoying the character can literally stay in the dungeon 2 months yet it only takes 3 or 4 pages, this is what occurs when a writer makes their character to powerful too quickly and it makes it difficult to keep the story interesting. Which Shane is bordering on losing that in both series.

Truly fun series
Excellent series if you enjoy fantasy systems, races and magics. The main character is, at best, on the spectrum and possibly even somewhat sociopathic... Given what she goes through though, it's necessary. A normal person works just break.
Great read, fun series, well designed setting. I highly recommend it.

An author to be counted on.
A lot of the litRPG books I’ve read have encompassed most genres I’m interested in—sci-fi, fantasy, historical fiction, action/adventure, Etc. They are fun escapes from reality. If you’re looking for good fun and action galore, this is an author to seriously consider trying. I look forward to reading the next adventure of The Reaper.

Loving this series
Shane's got me hooked on this series. Came from Wolf of Blood Moon series and I'm certainly not disappointed at all. Awesome book, awesome characters, awesome dialog.
I would have appreciated if he kept the game sheet format from Wolf of Blood Moon. Alas, we can't get everything we want. Still looking forward to Book 4. Few more days.

A bland character who does not care about anything does not make for good content. Add in another dungeon run, and this is just cut and paste from the author. Think Purdy might be creatively bankrupt.

ends on a cliff hanger
It ends just before a big fight that was teased throughout the whole book the book was good but anything that ends on a cliff Hanger without warning always gets a 1. For me it always ruins an otherwise good book
