Stallion shifter Avi has dirt on his hands, sweat on his brow, and an ache in his chest that no amount of hard work can ease. He's watched two of his friends find their soulmates recently, and he's wondering if the universe forgot about him. Until she shows up—beautiful, scared, and on the run.
Fallon was promised to a monster. Given away in an arranged mating, she fled to save herself but had to leave her mother behind. Promised safety on a farm away from the safari park that gave her sanctuary, she never expected to find her soulmate in a quiet stallion with rough hands, soft eyes…and a protective streak that sets her heart on fire.
But their new relationship is threatened when Fallon's mom shows up at the farm, the alpha she was promised to hunting her, and Avi's dangerous cousin threatening everything the herd has built. Avi may be quiet, but when his mate is in danger, there’s nothing gentle about him. If anyone thinks they can take her from him, they’ll learn what kind of beast lives beneath the farm boy exterior.
My Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Avi (Little River Stallions Book 3) 📖 165 pages 🗓️ Release: 1/02/26 ✍️ R. E. Butler ✨ MCs: Avi & Fallon
Avi was a beautifully powerful way to start the new year. From the very first pages, the story pulled me in with its emotional depth, quiet intensity, and the kind of romance that settles into your heart and stays there.
R. E. Butler did an incredible job crafting both the storyline and the character development. Avi and Fallon’s connection felt raw, natural, and deeply emotional. Watching their bond form—layer by layer—was incredibly moving. Their journey isn’t easy, and the ups and downs only made their eventual happiness feel that much more earned and satisfying.
What truly stood out to me was how the author allowed us to feel the connection between the two main characters. Their shared moments were filled with tenderness, fear, hope, and healing, making their love story feel authentic and heartfelt. Despite being a shorter read, the story never felt rushed—every scene had purpose and emotional weight.
This was another fantastic addition to the Little River Stallions series, and it left me eager for more. R. E. Butler continues to deliver compelling shifter romances with strong emotional cores, and I can’t wait to see where this series goes next.
If you love shifter romance, protective heroes, emotional storytelling, and hard-won happily ever afters, I highly recommend Avi. Overall, it was a wonderful reading experience from start to finish.
✨ Avi is officially live today! ✨
This next Little River Stallions romance brings small-town charm, quiet strength, and a hero who finds exactly what he wasn’t even searching for.
Avi is as sweet as the rest of the stallions. Fallon deals with so much so quickly and their love story started quickly which is the way of shifters.
Fallon is running from an arranged mating from a creep and the zoo isn’t safe anymore… scared and sad (about leaving her bestie at the zoo) she is taken to the ranch for protection. But they have their own villain they are dealing with as well!!
It was interesting to see the antics of Avi’s deranged uncle still trying everything to take over the ranch for himself and his small heard (dude…..you haven’t gotten it yet…. Taking the blaring hint already!!)
The farmhouse just seems to get bigger and bigger as the series progresses and starting to remind me of the huge house with the lion pride. I’m sad there is only one more book in the series left but I’m excited to see everything and
Fallon is on the run from the new alpha of her jaguar pack and can’t find peace anywhere. If you have read the Werewolf zoo books - which I recommend, you get more of the background, since there is a story with Fallons best friend. Fallon is moved from the safari park to the stallions ranch to hide her. Here she meets Avi, that will do anything to make her feel safe. But the stallions still deal with trouble from Avi’s cousins (that have been their adversary for the last few books). They now have to deal with danger from several fronts, but there are also some nice and sweet twists and surprises. I am looking forward to Fords book to wrap up everything.
There is a lot going on in this third book of the series. Fallon is a Jaguar shifter and on the run from a crazy alpha who wants her as his mate. Too bad she found Avi a stallion shifter. Who is her mate in truth. Their story is not just the love story, but it’s also danger, excitement, love of family, and not knowing what is coming next. Fallon and Avi are so perfect together and there’s so much more to come in the fourth and final book in the series.. And there’s a little secret something coming for them as well.
Fallon on the run from a nasty alpha. The Safari Park sent her to the farm. Avi knows Fallon is his mate instantly. Colton shows up causing a !it of damage. Otto shows up to collect Fallon but is made to leave. Colton is getting crazier by the second. Sweet story. Can't wait for Ford's.
That was really good!! Stubborn men need a real ass kicking when Fallon shoes up it was a good thing 4 a few reasons but can avi have his mate and deal with his psycho cousin that refuses 2 take no 4 a answer?
Avi and Fallon had to deal with crazy people on both sides. Did Otto give up and what is Colton planning next? Whatever it is the herd is going to be vigilant about keeping watch.
This is a very sweet read. I really enjoyed Avi and Fallon's story. It is a fast paced read with suspense and danger. I am looking forward to the next book of the series.
