Outback Shadows

Rate this book
One town. A thousand secrets. And a woman who won't look away.

When Emma Hayes swaps Sydney skyscrapers for the red dust of Warrah, she expects a quiet reset-not the chilling whispers of locals gone missing, or the outback turning a blind eye.

But Emma doesn't scare easily.

Jack Lawson has spent years keeping his distance-until Emma starts asking the kind of questions that dig up more than old memories. The kind that stir trouble. The kind that people have vanished for.

As the shadows tighten around them, Emma and Jack are drawn into a web darker than they ever imagined-where trust is a luxury, and truth may come at the ultimate price.

Outback Shadows is a gripping romantic suspense set in the unforgiving heart of Australia-a story of resilience, buried secrets, and a spark that refuses to die.

There is plenty of nailbiting action within this book to keep you turning those pages. The Australian Outback is immense. Mostly dry, with town hours, if not days, away from each other, if a person became lost, there is a good chance that they would not be found.

You can tell the author did her homework. Actual outback town names were used. This definitely left me wanting more. I hope there will be a sequel to this in the not so distant future.
