A Love Lost. A Cursed Touch. An Arranged Marriage.
Genevieve Ashcroft can never marry for true love. Not as the Crown Princess of Naseria. Not with the blueblood’s magical gift. Not when her gift is actually a curse that makes any man fall in love after a single caress. And certainly not after Kieran Greenbluff abandoned her, only to die in mysterious circumstances.
Two years before her coronation, at twenty-eight, Genevieve makes the practical decision to enter a marriage of alliance. Prince Leland Frostclaw of Icelantica is everything she needs in a Consort– steadfast, diplomatic, and a powerful blueblood.
Until Mr. Morris Blackwell, a self-made redblood railway magnate arrives ready to expand his enterprise into Naseria. It only takes one touch, one dance for Genevieve to know Kieran isn’t dead, he’s holding her in his arms.
When Kieran vows to ruin Genevieve, and instances of a mysterious rot begin spreading throughout the kingdom, Genevieve must resist the temptations of her treacherous heart and stay true to her duty.
But her cursed heart still belongs to Kieran, and it just may betray her all over again.
If you are looking for an enjoyable Romantasy filled with danger, magical bloodlines and rules meant to be followed, yet broken…. Then this book is for you.
I read this book within two days. This is my first Audrey Lynn book and I can say without a doubt, it will not be my last.
In this story the reader follows Genevieve (Gen) as she prepares to take over the crown from her mother, as her birthright states. However, to deem fit in the current Queen and councils eyes, she needs to be wed.
Finding a suitable person to fill those shoes has proven difficult because Gen is cursed with a touch, that changes people and not always in a pleasant way.
There has only ever been one person she truly loved and has longed for. But he was removed from her life years ago which ended in tragedy. Choosing a suitor to align the empires is best. So that is what she decides to do.
Meanwhile, a magical rot is spreading over the land and she needs to fix it before it causes more damage and death amongst people.
Her betrothed brings in a knowledgeable man who has experience with the magical stone that is the cause of the rot. With his ingenious way to reuse the stone in a positive way to build a rail system. However, when he arrives…. Things change and drama begins.
This was a well written story which showcased true love and the depths one will take. With some detailed, spiced up scenes in the mix.
There are also some heated situations, dangers and heavy deception and betrayal within the story.
One thing to note is the beautiful illustrations included in this book. I read an ecopy and can only imagine how they look in print.
ONCE UPON A BLOSSOM’S CURSE releases March 6, 2026.
Absolutely loved this first installment in the Corset Strings and Cups of Tea series!
This gaslamp romantasy has total Bridgerton vibes. Genevieve and Kieran were each other’s first love—first everything. When fate tears them apart, Genevieve is left devastated, while Kieran vows to ruin her.
Fast forward nearly a decade, and Genevieve agrees to an arranged marriage as the practical choice to secure an alliance despite her blueblood curse. When Morris Blackwell, a self-made railway magnate, arrives alongside her betrothed, Genevieve realizes her past may not be as buried as she believed.
The stakes may be low, but the emotions are anything but. This second-chance romance will break your heart and carefully stitch it back together. Genevieve and Kieran are magnetic—drawn together despite everything standing in their way.
If you love yearning, restraint, and emotionally charged second-chance romance wrapped in a lush gaslamp setting, you won't want to miss this one!
Y’all… I’m a sucker for second chance romance and, if you are too, then you NEED this precious and heartbreaking Romantasy standalone (🤫 with a happy ending).
We follow a dual POV from our MCs and fall into the story nine years after Genny’s heart was broken from the abandonment then death of her beloved. Until now, she has grieved, but the time for her to take the crown is near and she has decided to take a prince from a neighboring kingdom as her husband. She only hopes that her power of “love” won’t ruin this agreement as it has ruined all the relationships before. When the prince arrives along with his friend and up and coming train developer, Morris Blackwell, Gen finds that her past may not be as closed as she thought it to be. Riddled with hidden identities, looming corruption, murder mystery, withheld information, a conniving mother, and the appearance of a figure from her past, Gen must decide if she will continue to choose the crown over love, dooming herself to a continued life of despair, or stand up once and for all.
The stakes are low, but the tension and yearning is HIGH. Audrey created a climax that stressed me OUT and I just clung to the knowledge of a HEA. This second chance romance gave me ALL the feels. I loved and despised characters and their decisions- sometimes both at the same time! But it was all SO intentional and I found myself missing being in these pages long after I closed the book. The memories of the past had me 🥹🥹 and Kieran is just to die for. I love that grumpy guy. And what Audrey has lined up next. Y’all. Y’all! We are not ready. 🤭 it’s going to be so good.
Tropes you may find in OUABC are hidden identities, second chance, slow burn to medium spice, arranged engagement, unique magics, MCs 28+, Wuthering Heights + Bridgerton vibes, she’s cursed by love, and a HEA.
Thank you, Audrey, for connecting with me and this gifted arc! I cannot WAIT for what you have in store for this next couple. 🤭😜
***ARC READ*** just want to say thank you to the author for sending me this ARC. It had a very slow start but as it got going, the story definitely picked up. Toxic family, lost lover, forbidden love, arranged marriage. So many good tropes. I did wish they explained certain aspect more but overall it was a solid read.
This book was a solid read for me. It did start off a bit slow, but once I hit the second half I was fully invested. The worldbuilding and the magic/curse elements were well done. If you’re a trope lover, this one delivers, abuse of power, arranged marriage, enemies to lovers, and a toxic family dynamic all wrapped into one. Definitely worth sticking with if you enjoy a slow build that pays off.
Once Upon a Blossom's Curse by Audrey Lynn, follows Princess Genevieve, Crown Princess of Naseria, who is cursed with a blueblood gift that makes any man fall in love with her with a single touch. She has come to terms that she can never marry for true love. Two years before she becomes queen, she agrees to an arranged marriage with the Prince of Icelantica. However, when Morris Blackwell, a self-made redwood, arrives, it doesn't take her long to realize it is a man who she used to love, a man who broke her heart years ago. When there's a mysterious rot that starts to spread in the kingdom, Genevieve has more to concern herself with than just her attraction to the man, who broke her heart and is not her fiancé.
I was sucked in yall. Absolutely this book had me at a chokehold that my bf had to convince me to put it down to go to bed. I was so surprised to be this hooked. I absolutely want more from this world and characters.
The plot was very well thought out. I think that the author balanced the romance plot and the general plot really well. It is so nice to be invested in both because I do find myself usually just interested in the romance aspect. However, this book was well done and I loved every second of it. The romance plot had the right amount of yearning that portrayed the heart vs duty aspect. It also had me loving the perspective that both characters had when it comes to how they ended up where they were. The general plot was very interesting. It was simple but the nuances and general understanding of this world made it so intriguing. The mystery of where the rot was coming from was very well played out.
The characters were wonderful! I loved both Genevieve and Kieran. The way they love before and current is so sweet that it makes my blood sugar spike. Genevieve was so refreshing because she is not perfect and she very much human who experiences grief and conflict. Kieran, I adore this man. This man may have my other book boyfriends beat. This man yearns and as much as he promises ruin, he cannot help being around Genevieve. The side characters actually had me intrigued! I want to know more about Gabe and Queen Kalise. I would love to see the other siblings as well!
The writing was easy to read and lovely to highlight! I found myself highlighting a lot because of how much emotion this book evoked out of me. The world building was easy to follow and descriptive. It was the perfect amount of imagery and dialogue to allow the reader to be immersed in the world.
Releasing March 6, 2026!!
Thank you so much to Audrey Lynn for the opportunity to read this as an ARC. All my thoughts and opinions are my own and left voluntarily.
OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!! I have to say I went into this ARC knowing nothing really about the book or the author. The tropes and instagram media intrigued me so I signed up and I'm FLOORED actually FLOORED how much I love this book. If you have read Amid Clouds and Bones by Ella Fields and loved it but wanted a softer less bully romantasy then THIS IS FOR YOU!!
Once Upon A Blossoms Curse by Audrey Lynn is a standalone in a future interconnected romantasy series. I'm calling this Soft Romantasy because there is spice, romance, fantasy, intrigue but no real epic battles and bloodshed. It pulled me in from the first chapter and I can't wait to see what future books will hold.
Crown Princess Genevieve is next in line in a country separated by Bluebloods gifted at birth with magic or Redbloods, those who are normal with no magic. Her gift which she considers a curse is to cause lust in those who touch her. As a result her dream of falling in love and having a happy marriage will never happen and instead she approaches it in a more practical way. She agrees to a political match with Prince Leland- though he is handsome, smart and kind, she doesn't have any romantic feelings for him. instead she is haunted by her past first love and childhood best friend a Redblood named Kieran who left her and then died... or so she thought.
When Kieran reenters her life, trying to ruin her, Genevieve is only weeks away from being married, a devasting rot is spreading across her country and her mother the queen is doing nothing to help prepare Gen for her future to rule. With everything spinning out of control Gen has to turn to the one man who once loved her and now loathes her. Fate can be cruel....
I loved the mystery and pacing of this book. There was never any lull and the interactions between Gen and Kieran were always full of so much angst, anger and desperation. While typically I'm not a fan of second chance love at all this trope in OUABC was done so well. They both needed healing as they had to work together to save the country and the people they both care about. The secondary characters were all unique and entertaining. I'll be very curious to see how they play out in future books as I'm assuming each sibling will have their own storyline.
While the book is a standalone it does set up for Book 2 which I will be waiting on pins and needles for which should be out Dec 2026!
Obsessed. I am OBSESSED with this book. I started it and literally could not put it down. Anyone who loves a soft romantasy with court intrigue, slow burn and a little political drama will LOVE THIS BOOK. Think (regency era/gaslamp) Bridgerton X Wuthering Heights with a dash of magical elements. This is the first standalone in set of standalones in the Corset Strings & Cups of Tea series. Following a dual POV between Genevieve (Gen) and Morris Blackwell. Gen is next in line to the throne, two years out from her coronation and she is still unwed. As the day inches nearer she’s pushed into finding a political marriage before she will be allowed the crown. The problem is her heart was shattered nine years ago by her first love, who was found to be deceased shortly after leaving her. Gen never forgave herself for the childish argument and him leaving so swiftly. Another problem? The fact that any man who touches her goes immediately into a lust frenzy, due to her “magical gift” (more like a curse) that some blue-bloods can manifest. Deciding on Prince Leland, brother and advisor to Queen Kalise in Icelantica, they come to Gen to finalize the wedding plans and securing the alliance between the crowns. Coming along with Leland, is Morris Blackwell. A self made business man, who is also close friends with Leland and his sister, has been buying up mines and trying to better the lives of the workers.. while also building a railway to connect the continent. Upon meeting Blackwell, Gen notices that he looks a bit like her old lover Kieran. Which cannot be possible, he’s been dead nine years. Or has he? Is he here for her or to ruin her? What follows was an absolute treat to read. Second chance romance, yearninggggggggg, slow burn to 🌶️🔥, hidden identity, a smidge of mystery and a love that spans decades.. it’s not a book you’ll want to miss. I absolutely CANNOT wait for the next book and I think we get a good idea of who the next one will be about by the end of this book. (And I’m sooooo looking forward to it)
Thank you to Audrey for the eARC in exchange for my honest thoughts! ✨🥰
Thank you so much for an ARC of this beautiful book! This book is filled with court politics, class differences, long-lost love, gifts that are more curse-like than beneficial, and more! It was such an intriguing storyline with a small twist at the end. I really adored Gen & Kieran.
Both of our main characters have various instances of inner-turmoil where they have to choose between love and duty, or sabotage has forced choices upon them. The journey for each of them to choose their own happiness is filled with drama, more sabotage, and lots of stolen moments together. The court politics in this story really demonstrate how difficult it is to have any sort of individuality and reminded me a lot of The Crown. Gen’s mother, Queen Penelope, also doesn’t make anything easy. She’s a nasty piece of work who has gone out of her way to manipulate, brainwash, etc. This is very apparent given how hard it is for Gen to break away from it all, which might frustrate the reader. I appreciate the way this was done on purpose! We are supposed to feel frustrated about the choices that are being made.
This book is SENSUAL and so very swoon-worthy! Had to put sensual in all caps for emphasis.
I just kept thinking over and over how Gen and Kieran together had this sensual chemistry and I really applaud the Audrey Lynn for carrying this throughout the book. The carriage scene was so emotional and the description of intimacy between them was beautifully done.
I’m also really curious about what will happen next as it seems we aren’t quite finished with Gen’s siblings in this beautiful world that Audrey Lynn has created. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
If you’re like me and are obsessed with the beauty, the longing, & tension of Bridgerton (with a magical twist to it), then this is the book for you. I’m always drawn to the ‘I hate you, but I can’t stay away’ moments a second chance romance gives us, especially when one of them is now in an arranged engagement 😏 I ate up every moment of Kieran and Genevieve’s interactions. Their attraction was palpable! No one can deny that this man YEARNED for her & that carriage scene will live rent-free in my head from now on 🥵 This is a low stakes story, but I was still taken on an emotional roller coaster. There’s a mystery that’s also occurring throughout the book and in true romantasy fashion the last few chapters had me holding my breath. I knew this would be an HEA, but Audrey had me worried for a minute there 😳 Thankfully everything unfolded perfectly & also gave us a glimpse of a new possible couple we’ll be following next. I’m very excited to see more of this connection! Thank you so much for the opportunity to be a part of this arc team 😊
Thank you to the author for allowing me the opportunity to review this book! 💕
If you love a second chance romance, magical gift, and an arranged marriage with emotional turmoil on several fronts then boy do I have the book for you!
A second chance romance with the most perfect vibes!? How could I say no!
I absolutely love this cozy, low-stakes romantasy set in a Victorian setting; it’s giving huge Bridgerton vibe! Delicious and beautiful. Soft but emotional.
Genevieve Ashcroft is for sure giving oldest daughter energy and is forced to be the absolute picture of perfect (being a crowned princess will do that to ya I suppose) all the time. Can she hold it together when a lost love returns?
Then we have our new obsession Kieran Greenbluff. Boy, does he come in and shake things up 😅 in the most perfect way of course.
The relationship these two have is incredible from the beginning.
He has always fallen first and in my heart harder and this time around is no different! 🥹
The little twist I did not see coming in this book was perfection and absolutely what this story needed to balance out. 🫢
Please enjoy some of my favorite quotes: 🫶
🧒🏼:“I’m not that girl anymore. You ruined that girl.” 🙎🏻♂️: “I ruined you? Oh, Gen—you’re going to find out just what it looks like to be ruined by me.”

Once Upon a Blossom’s Curse is a cozy, fairytale-inspired romance that wraps you in soft magic, quiet longing, and emotionally charged moments that linger. This is the kind of story you read slowly—curled up with a blanket—soaking in the atmosphere and the tension simmering beneath the surface.
What stood out most to me was the push and pull between the characters. Their connection feels layered, shaped not just by what’s happening in the present but by the weight of the past. Previous choices, unspoken regrets, and emotional history add real pressure to the decisions they’re faced with, which made their interactions feel meaningful and earned. The tension isn’t loud or dramatic—it’s subtle, steady, and emotionally driven, and it works beautifully.
The story flows smoothly from start to finish, allowing the romance and magical elements to unfold naturally. I especially appreciated the small, thoughtful details the author wove in—they add warmth and depth without slowing the pace, making the world feel lived-in and intentional.
Overall, Once Upon a Blossom’s Curse is a gentle yet emotionally rich read that blends cozy fairytale vibes with romantic tension and heartfelt storytelling. Perfect for readers who love slow-burn romance, soft magic, and characters whose pasts shape the choices they make.
I would describe Once Upon a Blossom’s Curse as a Romantasy with political undertones and a hint of mystery. I absolutely love the forbidden love and enemies to lovers troupes and this gave both! The friends to lovers to strangers to enemies to lovers again story line going on throughout gave me the yearning and angst any good Romantasy needs. On top of that I loved watching Gen grow throughout this novel and step away from being the mindlessly obedient daughter and take life by the reigns and start charting her own path. The characters in this novel are all so unique and I loved how characters that could have easily been forgotten and sidelined were really given their time to shine so we couldn’t forget them (I’m also really hoping that the next book is about Gabe because I love him). The only thing I would say is that I wish the book was longer! I wanted more flashbacks of Gen and Kieren’s childhood, and I thought that the political and mystery aspects of the novel could have been more in depth as those aspects of the novel seemed to be overshadowed by the romance making you nearly forget that other stuff is happening in my opinion. Overall I loved it! It was such a cozy read and I can’t wait to see what this Author does with the rest of the series (I’m currently manifesting that many more books are written).
"He huffs out a bitter laugh, stepping down to the same stair as me. 'I ruined you?...you're going to find out just what it looks like to be ruined by me.' "
This was exactly the low stakes, emotional, gaslamp romantasy I was promised! 😍 The yearning and heartbreak was done so well and it was definitely giving Bridgerton vibes.
Personally, I hold my romantasy reads to a higher standard than contemporary romance, as that's my meat-and-potatoes. But, Once Upon A Blossom's Curse was definitely a tea-and-crumpets book that had me glued to the page and eating up the crumbs! I wouldn't have minded more depth into the magic system and world-building, but this is a great foundation into later books that leaves you wanting more.
Princess Genevieve's character and history is extremely relatable as an eldest daughter. I really enjoyed seeing the duality of her sense of duty to her country, and sense of self with her hobbies, relationships, and passions.
I will always be a sucker for arranged, political marriages and second-chance romance, so this book was the perfect sweet spot of romance for me! The tension, curse, and forbidden urges are 💋🤌
I am definitely eager to see where this world takes us and how the next arranged marriage plays out 😏
Thank you for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!
Once Upon a Blossom’s Curse is truly magnificent, offering a story with multiple layers, a delicious romance, politicking, a mystery… there is something for everyone here.
Once Upon a Blossom’s Curse centrally tells the romance of Genevieve, Queen to be of Naseria, and her lost lover, Kieran, who is believed to be dead. Naseria is a society where the upper class develop magical “gifts”, and Genevieves’s has become more of a curse for her. This gift of hers becomes a masterful depiction of the fear that comes after being mistreated by multiple partners, and belief that it might not happen for you, you might not someone who treats you well, and I found this part of the novel to be the most poignant.
Kieran turns out to be the answer to this fear, and his romance with Genevieve is so satisfying, it offers the delicious temptation of a slow burn, but once Genevieve and Kieran acknowledge their feelings, its heats up in the most amazing way. This tightly plotted novel also features a mystery to solve (with a great twist, I DID NOT see coming), and a full cast of characters, who are all well written, and intriguing in their own right (what will happen with Gabe and Queen Kalise?!).
I loved this story so much, and can’t wait to see what comes next for these characters! Thank you to the author for an advance copy in exchange for an honest review.
This was a delightful and mellow romantasy that still had a lot of substance to it. The world-building was solid but wasn’t overly complicated and takes place in a regency-adjacent era. This book focuses less on the magic system and more on the wit and banter which was a nice palate cleanser. There was a good hint of mystery and even some action but nothing that took away from what this book was really about which was the romance between Gen and Kieran.
The romance was fantastic. The level of yearning in this book was top notch. Former lovers to enemies to lovers was a total vibe. The sharp jabs and well placed tension made for a very fun book. The spice level landed at about a 2 out of 5 but you really have earned it by the time you get there. The obstacles to happily ever after are believable and heartbreaking and you get invested. This book had just the right amount of fun and heart.
Overall, I really enjoyed the writing style. This was a low stakes fun read which didn’t require any overthinking. The book had substance and plot but nothing that retracted from the romance. This is a solid 4 stars.
I received this book for free from the author. All views are my own.
This story is told through dual POVs, following Gen and Kieran—long-lost lovers since childhood. Gen lost the love of her life nine years ago, and though she still grieves, duty calls her forward. Her responsibility lies with her kingdom, not her broken heart, as she prepares to inherit her mother’s crown and become queen.
According to her mother, the kingdom is thriving. Gen wants to believe that—but the more she looks into things, the more something feels off. Complicating matters further, an arranged marriage has been set in place to unite two kingdoms. The match appears perfect on paper and he is quit the gentleman, except for two problems: Gen isn’t in love, and her magical gift may jeopardize the union entirely.
This was such a cozy and enchanting read, blending second-chance romance, light mystery, high emotional tension, identity, self-worth, magic, and elegant ballroom scenes. The longing and chemistry between the main characters is genuinely swoon-worthy and beautifully written.
If you enjoy romance, a touch of magic with Bridgerton-style vibes you most definitely need to add this to your TBR!
It was a sweet, magical and interesting journey! I've read this book in two days, so for me it was a light book. But it still encountered topics of power abuse, family issues and betrayals. I liked how the story was well balanced between the world, the court life and it's intricacies, magic with it's curse and the love storyline, the character's depth and their turmoil.
Though at times I was annoyed by the fmc, but at the same time I understood her, her decisions and thoughts. I loved the mmc, his story and what led him to become who he is now. Though I wanted to venture into his past more.
The ending was a bit rushed, too easily solved, I think, but not bad. I enjoyed the HEA, cause both the of the mc's deserved to finally be happy, peaceful and in love together.
If you love a who did this to you he falls first type of romance then this is the book for you !!
Once Upon a Blossom’s Curse follows the blue blooded Crown Princess Genevieve, whose magic causes lust in anyone who touches her, making true love feel impossible. Due to this, she agrees to a political marriage to Prince Leland. That is until her childhood best friend and first love who was thought to be dead reappears and completely tilts her world on its axis. There also happens to be a mysterious rot is spreading through the kingdom. Genevieve is unprepared to rule thanks to the Queen and now she’s forced to rely on the one man who once loved her but now seems to hate her. I really enjoyed this book and could not put it down it has mystery, angst and romance.I enjoyed watching the romance unfold. I cannot wait for the second book that follows Prince Gabriel and Queen Kalise.
Don't let the slow start fool you! It took about 5 chapters for me to get into the groove, but once I did, I couldn't stop. Audrey Lynn created a beautiful story filled with comical banter that kept me smiling the whole way through.
This book is a trope-lover's dream: arranged marriage, forced proximity, second chance romance, and a delicious friends-to-enemies-to-lovers.
That ending has me crossing my fingers for a sequel featuring Prince Gabe and Queen Kalise! Their chemistry was electric—I knew they had the hots (no pun intended 😉) for each other. Watching them resist that spark made their scenes my absolute favorite. Can’t wait for more!
This is a Romantasy with political and court intrigue, with a mystery to solve, and a mother to contend with. Gen has to navigate her arranged marriage proposal while also dealing with her “gift”, and holding a space in her heart for a boy she’s not seen in nearly a decade.
I was promised a cozy low stakes gas lamp Romantasy, and this is was exactly that, and I stayed up way too late to finish it. It’s dual POV which I loved. I really enjoyed that we got both POV, and we got to see how they both grew and changed throughout the book.
If you like second chance, yearning, cursed love then give this one a shot.
That ending certainly leaves it open for a continuation of the series, which I will read.
4⭐️ I want to thank the author for allowing me this ARC! Where to start? The story is so well written and you’re really taken into this world she has created. The gifts (or curses in Gen’s case) are beautiful explained and while this isn’t my typical genre I felt immersed by the mishandling of power, family issues and betrayals that run so deep. The tropes involved were well executed and the banter between characters is something I loved. Kieran is hot 🥵 and I’ll give it a solid 3 for 🌶️. I do hope for more installments cause there are so many characters that could have stories written to expand this magical world Audrey Lynn has spent time creating!
Once Upon a Blossom’s Curse was an enjoyable & quick read for me.
Gen and Kieran’s love for one another is a force to be reckoned with. I thoroughly enjoyed their story and the battles they had to overcome to be together.
Their story was written beautifully with some twist and turns. This was a refreshing read. While there were mentions of past trauma and some unfortunate things that occurred during the story, I did not feel like my heart was ripped out of chest when I finished this book. I’m left feeling hopeful and excited about where this story may go next.
If you love a good romance and court politics this book is for you!
First, thank you to the author for the arc, I thoroughly enjoyed this so much!! It’s perfect if you’re missing Bridgerton and waiting for Pt2 of S4–except this has magic, much more political intrigue, and whole lot of low stakes danger and drama that had me teetering on the edge of my seat 🥹 the spice was just the right amount, it felt like I was watching a scene of Bridgerton (*coughcough* carriage scene was 🥵)
But overall, I enjoyed the story and will be looking forward to book two!! Kieran and Genevieve were both so memorable and I miss them already 💔 and Leland, oh you’re such a sweetie, I couldn’t even despise him 🥹🥹 I hope he finds love too!!
I always love a good second-chance romance- especially when the reason the romance initially didn't work was due to outside forces (AKA not one of the MC's doing something horrid). However, I struggled with how many of the characters flip-flopped personalities so quickly. Maybe it had to do with the Queen? Because we never get an answer on her erratic behavior. FMC was also a little annoying with her overly ambitious decision to put the crown before everything- took too long for her to finally claim her man!
This is one of the best second chances romances I have read. I could not put the book down I read it all in one day.
Once Upon a Blossom Curse is a soft romantasy with a bit of mystery mixed in. I thought the ending wrapped everything up nicely without seeming rushed.
Even though this is a standalone it hints at series but not in a way that leaves you hanging. I can not wait to continue reading this series.
A romance with delicious amounts of yearning, a mysterious rot threatening to spread, first born royal responsibilities, and gardening.
This second chance romance has quiet a bit of back and forth as they navigate nearly a decade of hurt between them.
Once Upon a Blossom's Curse features several beloved tropes and at its core, it's a story of forging your own path and fighting for yourself and others.
I ate this story up! It’s a cute second chance romance filled with so much tension and yearning that I finished it in one sitting. It definitely gives off Bridgerton vibes but with a magical twist. I loved how the main characters developed individually and together there was some trauma bonding and personal growth especially for Gen. Im super excited to see what kind of trouble Gabe gets himself into in book 2!! Can't wait!
