I found some of the theology in this book problematic. I particularly disliked their description of the Trinity as "like an apple."

On the cover it states "A guide to Theology in plain language" it delivers that and then some. This is good place to start because it succinctly answers some questions and then guides you to other more in-depth resources to continue a study. This book is a great gift for any new believers.

Great introduction for anyone who might be open to following Christ. Clear, logical, casual in tone.
