EMERY
Stripping was supposed to be an escape. A faraway haven to hide from the soul-sucking normalcy of my reality. A safe space to unleash my inner flirt, my inner tease, my inner sinner.
When I'm dancing at Lux, I'm not Emery Jones, a woman carrying a stranger's heart. No. I'm Luna Lush. A deviant. An alter-ego. A goddess. It's my dirty little secret. Harmless. They can't touch me. Only look. And I rarely look back. Except for that night. The night I saw him.
And everything changed.

It's been three years since I've let myself feel anything other than regret and guilt. It wasn't always like this. There was a time when I ruled every room I entered. When I got every single thing I desired. When I was a king among kings.
But every king eventually falls. And I fell. Hard. I planned on spending the rest of my life in solitude, repenting the sins that altered my destiny and destroyed my faith but then I saw her. My salvation. And no one will take her from me

E.L. Lewis has always been a die-hard romantic. Born in Ukraine and raised in Canada, she grew up devouring love stories in every form she could find—and now she writes her own. A multi-genre romance author, she brings readers tales filled with sugar, spice, and heart, ranging from dangerous mafia romances to laugh-out-loud rom-coms. Between the pages of her books, readers will find first loves, last loves, and the epic journeys in between.
Her heroines are complex, confident, and unforgettable—and her love interests? The kind who would walk straight into hell if it meant winning their girl’s heart.
When she isn’t dreaming up new characters and plots, E.L. is living her own happily ever after in Orange County with her husband and their pup. She spends her days listening to Taylor Swift, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, and showing up to airports far earlier than necessary.
This book! I stayed up all night finishing this book. Couldn't put it down. The story E.L Lewis weaves is incredible. This isn't your sweet romance novel. Lots of angst with characters that are dealing with real issues. The cliffhanger kills me, I'm ready for book 2!!
E. L. Lewis delivers exactly the dark, addictive MFM many readers expect, the brutal chemistry, morally gray characters, and a plot that doesn’t soften the uglier parts of the characters! This book is like a fever, compulsive, addictive, and impossible to put down, even when your eyes start burning at 5 a.m , it's a dark, slow-burning, why-choose romance, Emery, Damon, and Quin consume every cell of your being, the pacing keeps you torn between lust and horror, as if you're standing too near to a live wire, knowing it's soon to break! It's magnificent chaotic with great anticipation, heated shadows, and a ravenous desire for more, every part of it rattles with a proprioceptive structure, you feel every nuance, every word, and every damned secret! . Emery is the main character that forces you to disagree with yourself, she's impulsive, raw, and so human, her dual personality, Luna Lush, evokes her rebellion, a way out for a woman suffocating through the weight of expectation and another person's heartbeat, watching her pull aside her own layers is vicious and addictive! The compulsive lyrical prose leans into discomfort, it presses into your ribs, and asks how much truth you can tolerate! . Damon and Quin are two men carved from opposing sides of the same ruin, Damon is a guilt-ridden obsessive who has forgotten what peace feels like. Quin, on the the opposite, buries his fissures beneath hubris and charm, an identity that is crumbling faster than he can repair it, together, they form a triangle that signals inevitability. It's possessive, devouring, and full of unrelenting suspense. The Author E. L. Lewis writes about men who make horrible decisions for the right reasons, and that's what makes them riveting! . I was shocked by the cliffhanger, desperate for the sequel, and still partially bewildered by the storm the Author E. L. Lewis created, the spice hits specifically where it should, and the emotional power is uncompromising! A gripping arrangement of heartache, obsession, and survival, it's entertainment with claws! Dirty Little Secrets is all heat, smoke, and the resulting damage, you'll be twitching for the next hit after reading this extremely addicting book, this is E. L. Lewis at its finest with a masterpiece dark romance that you don't read often!!!
I need the next book in my hands IMMEDIATELY! Liza’s writing is literally so binge able and addicting! You get so invested and attached to her characters!
Emery literally made want to scream on multiple occasions but the girl had some very valid points.
Damon oh his tortured soul. The ending WRECKED ME! You will completely be left on a cliff hanger and be screaming for the next book.
Quin don’t even get me started on this man. He is definitely a little shit starter and do I lowkey hate him? Yes. Do I also lowkey love him? Also yes.
If you’re looking for a book with characters that piss you off, but also that pull at your heart strings? ✅ if you need some good spice? ✅ looking forward to possessive MMCs who will cross every line and boundary to be with her? ✅
If you need me I’ll be impatiently waiting for book two :)
I was in such a reading slump and as soon as I picked this up I was HOOOKED line and sinker. I think I forgot the blurb from when I signed up and was PLEASANTLY reminded this is a dark billionaire smex club romance with plot twists & turns at every corner. Emery is a badass, warrior and I loved every second of her. Damon is deliciously dark and I love a MMC with demons to overcome. Quin was an interesting addition and I’m quite “annoyed” (not really) that I have to wait for the next book to come out. The cliffhanger messed me up emotionally lol 10/10 would recommend & E.L your writing is impeccable 👏🏽🙌🏽

Slow-burn why-choose should be illegal. This is sooo good I want to cry. I finished it so quickly. Plusss, the spice is spicing! (a lil advice: don’t read it at work lol).
All the characters are so lost and hurt in different ways. I feel so bad for all of them. The cliffhanger is killing me! There’s still so much left to unfold. I’m so curious and excited to see how it will go.
I can’t wait for books 2 and 3!!! I usually don’t really like long series, but I won’t complain for this one. I need to know more about Quin!
From the first chapter I was already locked in. Read this quicker than ive read anything before! Cause i needed to know how this story would play out! The Club scenes 🥵🥴 There were so many emotions felt in this book , cause what do you mean *throws kindle* I have to wait five ever to know what happened !! This book was great! plot, characters, spice! seriously cannot wait for book two(after that dang on ending)!
“As I walk past her toward the parking lot, she grabs hold of my sleeve and whispers, “Emery. You can call me Emery.” “The only thing I want to call you, Miss Jones,” I say, pulling away from her, “is mine.” She might be the solar system. But I’m the motherfucking sun.”

🤩 Did I love it? Thoughts? 🤩
That ending, so mean.
I really enjoyed the book. I will in fact be groveling for book 2, please let me be an ARC reader for that please please please because I need book two in my hands today, cliff hangers so painful. They drive me crazy (in a good way)!
I loved the characters so much. Damon, Emery and Quinton. They all have their own issues and having so many morally grey characters is fun to read. It’s a very interesting plot that I can’t wait to continue unraveling.
The fact that this book is a trilogy, I am both so excited to have two more books to read and tortured that I have to wait until next year for book two. I really really really need to be on the arc team for this entire series. Please and Thank you.
🩵 Would I recommend this Book? 🩵
Yes, read it. I love a why choose romance and this is an interesting format (for me at least) where we get the POV of two of the three in the first book. I can’t wait to get more insights into Quin in book 2. If you like a why choose, mfm, bdsm aspects, slow burn with morally grey characters this is the book for you.
"She might be the solar system. But I'm the motherfucking sun."
Dirty Little Secrets by E.L. Lewis is a suspenseful, dark, why choose contemporary romance where a woman, Emery, finds herself drawn to two men. One is Damon, the CEO of Cavanaugh Industries and the other is Quin, GQ's Man of the Year, CEO of Novatech Pharmaceuticals, and doctor. Throughout the book, we see Emery form relationships between the two and we see what depths either man will take when it comes to her. For readers who love spice, there is plenty of open door scenes.
While reading, I felt like there was a bomb that was about to go off when it came to Damon and Emery's relationship. Deeply traumatized from tragic accidents and unhappy with his CEO role, Damon's relationship with Emery seems to be one that is based on compulsion and need.
Quin and Emery's relationship on the other hand seems more realistic as Quin is there for Emery during some hairy situations. While the ending is left on cliffhanger, the story can go so many directions in the next book.
What I liked about Dirty Little Secrets was the fact that there was no sure ending at the conclusion of book one. One secret was revealed which was good to see. I really enjoyed how different and similar Damon and Quinton are when it comes to Emery. I feel like Damon is more of the twin flame that the author defines in the beginning of the book. Quin on the other hand seems like someone who would make good husband material if it weren't for his shady history.
What I didn't like about the book was how the author ended some of the character arcs. There is one significant character in the beginning of the book and I feel that his arc could have ended a bit cleaner, unless we will see that character again the second book.
I definitely feel that there is more to this book and I can't wait to read the second one. Overall, I'd rate the book 4/5 with the spice a 3/5. There is definitely a plot to the book and the spice is relevant to it. When it comes to who I would recommend this book to, I'd recommend it to readers who love suspenseful romance, why choose (MFM), dark romance, contemporary romance, open-door spice scenes and billionaire romance (there are no ethical CEOs after all - iykyk).
Quotes I liked:
"Rain brings life to the lifeless, Miss Jones. Without rain, everything would burn."
"Death only brings death, Mr. Cavanaugh. I promise you, I am not the antidote for lifelessness."
"Comet". Because that's what he is. A striking beautiful phenomenon, a celestial wonder to the naked eye. But deadly. A potential source of complete destruction."
Disclaimer: I obtained an eARC copy from the author in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
E.L. Lewis engrosses you in her outstanding books, leaving you gasping for air, addicted, and totally invested in Emery, Damon, and Quinton. You can't have a safe, beautiful romance here. It's gloomy, and disorganised and angsty. You can feel every single one of the characters' heartbreaking problems because they are very vibrant and well-researched, and the final cliffhanger was mind-blowin'!!! . Emery owns the fact that she is messy, layered, and flawed. Her life has been bound by sickness, dull expectations, and other people's regulations, yet she is untouchable, wild, and free when she is Luna Lush. It's addictive to see her stand up for herself, even while she's making bad decisions. I laughed aloud several times with her internal monologue because she is witty, perceptive, and shockingly vulnerable. . Quinton and Damon are utterly different but extremely riveting. Emery pulls the moody, wounded, and compulsive Damon back into life in a way that feels both necessary and risky. Quinton's brash smile and banter obscure his sadness, but he gradually shows his profound feelings and concern, particularly for Emery. The "why choose" dynamic is fascinating, thrilling, and engrossing. You can sense the weight of these three's pasts, secrets, and obsessions in every conversation; they are all tense, intense, and emotionally rich, also the spice moments were unabashedly brazen, thigh-clenching, and mouthwatering, just wow, E. L. Lewis writes the best spice in dark romance books that I was shocked, I want like 10 more books like this one please! . The level of emotion is phenomenal, the pacing is flawless, and the plot is brilliant. Tensions rise, secrets come to light, and the story closes on a cliffhanger that will leave you wanting more. It is a slow-burning, suspenseful dark romance that catches you by the throat and won't let go. It contains heart, obsession, temptation, and flaming desire. Dirty Little Secrets will steal your heart and disturb your sleep if you enjoy stories full of emotion and spice, heroines with fire, and ethically grey guys. I need the next book, and I can't wait for it.
DIRTY LITTLE SECRETS is unlike anything I have read this year and easily, quite possibly, my favorite dark romance of 2025! I was dragged in by Dirty Little Secrets, but it also went under my skin and remained there. It's a dark romance that quickens your heartbeat, not because of the spice (believe me, there is plenty), but instead because of the feelings that absorbs it all. Every single word in E.L. Lewis's writing groans with a flavour unfiltered and alive. There is lust, heartache, and an unsettling sense that something is going to blow up. You're caught between hoping it doesn't end and wanting it to. . I was slightly broken by Emery. She can be impetuous and cluttered, which can be frustrating at times, but she's so damn real. You can sense that she is fighting for control over her own body, her own decisions, and her own unravelling, her alter ego, Luna Lush, is a revolt personality that I really found it powerful and unique. Emery is electric, untouchable, and dangerous in the finest sense of the word when she is Luna. Nonetheless, beneath all of that sparkle and flirtation, you can still feel the pain. that silent, terrible loneliness she wields like a dark cloud. . Emery gets caught in the between of two storms that are headed in different directions Quin and Damon. Damon is all regret and obsession, and he is devastation with a heartbeat. Until you realise that Quin is just as flawed as you are, he feels like temptation dressed in power. Not only is there sexual tension between them, but there is also psychological pressure. It feels like the room is going to catch fire because every sentence and every action are charged. Even if it seems bad, this type of love is too obvious to ignore. E. L. Lewis takes the floor out from under you just as you think that perhaps they can work things out. The suspenseful ending was so cruel, I have never been more shocked by an ending than this one, I just need the second installment immediately, what the hell was that!?!?!
Emery has spent her life caged by illness, unable to LIVE. Reluctantly resigning to the fact that she is destined for a boring and safe life, Emery wants more. More adventure, more lust, experiences than what her boring boyfriend and boring job can give her. She is determined to take back her life, even if its only one night a week.
Damon has been recluse for 2 years, hiding from the world. He refuses to face the world after loosing his family. But when he is force to come out of hiding and be the face of his father's Billion dollar company, he is distracted by Emery. She is gorgeous. Damon wants her, and Damon ALWAYS gets what he wants.
Quinton is no stranger to heartbreak and that is why he chooses to be a forever Bachelor. Content to sample whichever Women he chooses, but always shying away from commitment. After all, it was his Fiancée and a family friend who betrayed him. He trusts no one. Until that old family friend, now enemy, appears at Club Hades, a discreet sex club, with a gorgeous woman on his arm. Quinton knows history will repeat itself, but it won't be him who is heartbroken this time.
Dirty Little Secrets is a well paced ride of a Billionaire rivalry, secrets that can never be spoken, being courted by two handsome men, and an FMC who isn't if she ever has the capacity for any kind of relationship beyond sexual. But what she does know is she wants BOTH. This is a slow burn that is more plot than spice which I LOVE. The spice scenes especially in Club Hades is mouth watering and thigh clenching. I didn't mind the cliffhanger, although cliffhangers are not my favorite. I cannot wait for book 2, but really hope there will be just a little more spice, and to include the MFM "activities" 😘😘😘.
3 ⭐ 5 🌶️ A beautifully twisted slow burn that made my heart race and my mind spin!
From the first chapter, Dirty Little Secrets had me teetering on the edge of anxiety. The tension builds with every page as secret after secret comes to light, each one more jaw-dropping than the last. I could feel the pressure closing in on every character, like a storm brewing just beyond the horizon. Every time I thought I had a grasp on what was happening, another revelation hit, leaving me reeling and desperate for more.
What struck me most was how everyone in this book carries a secret. It’s almost ironic—each character believes they have a right to others’ truths while guarding their own so tightly. That constant push and pull between honesty, control, and vulnerability made me feel uneasy, curious, and oddly empathetic all at once.
And then there’s the chemistry. My goodness—the heat between these characters is absolutely electric. It’s dark, it’s spicy, and it’s charged with emotion that goes beyond simple attraction. You can feel their pain, their longing, and their battles with right and wrong. Even when things got intense or messy, I couldn’t look away.
As the story unraveled and the connections between everyone finally came to light, it hit me just how deeply intertwined their fates were. The twists toward the end were daring and fate-driven, making me reflect on how fragile control really is. The book reminded me that even good people face devastating circumstances—and in the face of it all, the only thing we truly own is how we choose to act.
Dirty Little Secrets is definitely a slow burn, but once it catches fire, it doesn’t let go. It’s a seductive, emotional, and haunting journey through guilt, desire, and ultimately life. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone who loves dark billionaire romance with layers of mystery and emotion woven through every scene.
I literally cannot express the right words for this masterpiece E.L. Lewis's Dirty Little Secrets is beyond my comprehension. My heart still hurts after reading it through the night. There is nothing like this book. It's angsty, spicy, and dark, and I was completely engrossed in every moment of it. Emery is sincere in his ambitions. She's intelligent, outspoken, messy, and incredibly genuine. And I'm screaming when she's Luna Lush because she is fearless, untouchable, and completely in control of her life. Her enthusiasm, rage, and chaos were all aching in my bones. . Damon has a complete personality. He is intense and tortured, Literally, Quinton is everything I didn't realise I needed. Beneath his arrogant smile lies a lot of personality, charm, and a hint of mischief. I felt weak since they were both morally dubious and enchanted with Emery. I nearly started crying because of the slow burn and the crazy tension between the three of them. . Because I got to live inside Emery, Damon, and Quinton's thoughts and OMG the secrets, the pasts, and the obsessions, the dual point of view was just incredible. I felt my heart pounding all the time. I adore seeing Emery balance them both and determine her true desires, which makes the "why choose" drama ideal. The spice was HOT, I needed water, and my cheeks burned from smiling and blushing so much. . I am completely swooning over this book. I can't get enough of their pasts' secrets, heartache, yearning, and gradual unveiling. I am eagerly awaiting the next book, actually counting down the seconds. In every aspect possible, this series is messy, exciting, spicy, and flawless. I really suggest it, and rate this 10/10, the previous book I read from the Author was great, but this is a materpiece that left me shocked!
4.5 🌟 I read the Blurb for Dirty Little Secrets and knew this book was going to be for me. I was not wrong. I throughly enjoyed this book! I found Emery, Damon and Quin so intriguing. There was so much to their characters. There were secrets and mysteries just waiting to come out. I also enjoyed learning about each of them in real time. Like I had to piece together what happened in their pasts by things that were being shared instead of learning about it all at once through the innermonologs and such. I thought each of their characters had so much depth and realness. I both disliked and loved each of them in waves. To me that is the tell of really well written characters.
I absolutely savored the push and pull and tension between Damon and Emery. They were so well matched and I loved that they pushed eachothers buttons. But also pushed eachother to be introspective and to come out of their deep and darker thoughts. The slow burn was excellent! Adding Quin in the mix was just another leveled and it was so good. I have mixed feelings about Quin. I really like him but I also feel like he is still a little bit of a mystery and I am still questioning some of his motivations when it comes to Emery. I am absolutely excited to get his POV in the next book and learn more about him. The ending left me reeling. I will be eagerly awaiting the next books in the series. I would definitely recommend this book!
Dirty Little Secrets is an emotional autopsy as much as a poignant romance. Control, suffering, and the peculiar beauty that results from giving in to the fire are all explored. E. L. Lewis writes in a way that is tender, heartbreaking, and impossible to forget! I'm not done with these people, therefore I'm counting down the days till the next book comes out. . E.L. Lewis' Dirty Little Secrets is a wickedly sophisticated novel about desire, pain, and autonomy set against a high-gloss background of luxury and destruction. Despite its provocative attraction is a deeply human story about longing, guilt, and how various people seek restoration through one another. E. L. Lewis writes with delicacy and emotional compassion, evoking her characters' sensuality via anguish, vulnerability, and rebellion. The writing moves with structure that is compelling yet charged, enhancing the emotional nuances however not rarely surrendering to romanticism. . Dirty Little Secrets unfolds such an emotional architecture. E. L. Lewis is writing vulnerability with a remarkable and poignant topics that evolve in a very well-structured plot. The pacing, the tension, the cliffhanger all of it supports the thematic pulse. It's a book that reads refined and reflective, sexual and cerebral. In a setting of dark contemporary romance, Dirty Little Secrets stands out as a work of craft and consequence, unapologetically daring, emotionally powerful, and acutely aware of its own roots.
The novel DIRTY LITTLE SECRETS is a wonderful construction that features heart-pounding suspense, vibrant romance, and characters I adored. Emery, Damon, and Quin will take over your brain and refuse to let go. E. L. Lewis writes in such a poignant prose, the tension, the heat, the heartbreak...it's all so vivid and real. I stayed up much too late to finish this, and I honestly don't regret it. I read like 50 dark romances this Year, and this is on top of my reads! . Emery is such a force. She's intelligent, flawed, feisty, and undeniably personable. I enjoyed watching her manage her dual identity as Luna Lush, the confident, taunting, and dangerous side of herself that finally gets developed. She made me laugh, cry, and even grab my pillow in frustration more than once. There is a tenderness to her that contrasts with the evil around her, making her story very approachable. . Near the last 80 pages I was an absolute wreck, my heart quivering, my stomach in knots, and asking for the next one. E. L. Lewis delivered a romance that is dark, fascinating, and unexpectedly nurturing all at once. Dirty Little Secrets is a book to feel, and it stays with you long after you have closed the last page. If you want suspenseful, sexy, emotionally packed stories with characters that will win your heart and shatter your life, this is the book for you. I cannot wait for the sequel, and neither will you.
About the book: He is a man of influence, charisma, and the power to have the world bend at his will, at least he was, now he spends his time isolated, drowning in guilt and regret, unable to feel anything until, he sees her.
She lives a double life. By day, she is a woman burdened with a heart that is not hers and a life that has never felt her own. By night, she drowns her pain in music and lights, she is a seductress, she is powerful, and she is in control of her life until, a stranger pierce that illusion with just one look that changes everything.
My review: I couldn’t put this book down! It grabs you from the start. The FMC’s internal dialogue alone will have you laughing out loud. And then add not ONE, but TWO morally gray men with witty banter and a desire to, ahem, umm, please.. FORGET ABOUT IT! You are left drooling, panting and begging for the next book. All of the fun stuff aside… there is also a depth to this book and to each character. You quickly become attached to each one, to their pasts, their traumas, their obsessions, their retaliation and their need for each other. If you are drawn to a story drenched with SPICE, passion, heartbreak, obsession, an off-limits temptation, and a search for freedom then this book is for you and it does not disappoint.
This slow-burning why choose romance had me completely enthralled. It's dark, seductive, and thrilling. MCs Quin, Emery, and Damon are complex, interesting, and well-written. I'm still reeling from that cliffhanger and taste of the first chapter in the next book. What an absolute roller-coaster ride of emotions. I'm totally here for this crazy intense ride. I did not want to put this book down.
This is not a sweet love story, these characters are flawed and struggle with mental health. There is a lot of room for growth both as individuals and eventually together. It's full of toxicity and red flags galore but the chemistry they have is undeniable and deliciously hot. Emery is jaded, sarcastic, and her mind is full of dark intrusive thoughts. I love how full of fire and intelligence she is. Damon is sexy, grumpy, and cocky. He is relentless, completely unhinged, and a man obsessed.
Each book will have a different perspective this one is through Damon and Emery's. I'm eager to learn more about Quinton and his motivations.
Go ahead and judge this book by its title... Cause its 100% accurate. We're there secrets- Yes. Was it dirty- Filthy. And the only thing that's little is how much Emery's wearing on when she's performing Friday nights. Being on the brink of death for most of your life, tends to make you find ways to feel ALIVE. For Emery who has a nice, stable job, loving parents (smotheringly so), & doting boyfriend- who's a "good guy" ready to take it to the next level~ well she literally wishes she would die already from the normalcy and boredom of it all. Deep down, that's just not who she is. Enter our playboy billionaire with a dark past & even more suspicious future. Damon is giving Bruce Wayne vibes with a Latin flair (which I LOVE btw! That E.L made her MMC of Latin representation). Though I cringed every time I saw “Mami” 😬written. Dealing with grief & trauma he's been hole up in his penthouse for the past couple yrs neglecting to take on the responsibilities of his families legacy business. In true cliche fashion Damon discovers Emery dancing at one of his old haunts. Captivated by her aura, presence, sexual magic she's emanating- his obsession with her begins. Bullying his way into every aspect of her life, Emery is faced with the realization that what Damon's offering her might actually be the life she wants. But wait we can't have drama with out another Man in picture. Quinton our sexy brit, arch-nemesis, ex bestie of Damon's. Oh there's so much to unpack there with their history-in short they're both fighting for Emery's attention. Though Quins game is more of a chess match, Emery just CANT resist the intrigue & curiosity of Quins story. Hearts are involved- LITERALLY- which only adds to the complex love triangle of these 3. Gird your loins ladies cause there are playrooms & playground... IYKYK The problem, Emery doesn't know if she's actually capable of loving anyone with her "broken" heart. To be honest this was a 4 ⭐️read for me up until the last few chapters. E.L WHYYYYYY?!?!!! I got so frustrated with how the dynamic shifted with Emery LITERALLY running off with Quin. Just why😭😭 Like yea we got some crazy plot twists but I hated how she now develops emotions for Quinton & just decides to explore that?! After jewelry was exchanged👀👀. Do I think she should end up with either of this entitled assholes- no. Am I still in my feels, mad a little- yes😂 but my feelings aside this love triangle tipping point just made me want to jump off a cliff. This wasn't Magnolia Parks level hate, but the frustration was real, so I docked a star. If I can get over my dramatics, I'll prob give book 2 a chance because the curiosity will get the better of me & I want to know more background into Quinton's character. 3.5⭐️
Holy crap Batman!! That was utterly fantastic!! The story was a little confusing towards the end BUT…… the plot twist and cliffhanger at the end made it all worth the wait!! I LOVED IT!!❤️❤️❤️ The relationship between Emery and Damon was definitely unconventional but it was cute nonetheless! The relationship between Quinton and Damon is still a little confusing to me but I think the more information coming in the next book will tie things together. The spice had me fanning myself!😳 At one point I had to stop and breathe for a second. The story ❤️❤️❤️❤️/5 and the spice was 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 I and super excited to see how the story plays out in the next one. E. L. Lewis you are amazing! Thank you for this amazing opportunity! I can’t wait for more! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 Like I always say check your trigger warning pookies!
Dirty Little secrets has all the stops! Slow burn, dark billionaire romance, why choose, MFM.
E.L. Lewis wrote a spectacular novel leaving you waiting for more.
Emery has been through a lot in her life and has basically lived, day by day. She's had very little emotion that's ever shown for any relationship shes had. She's had heart issues since she was born. She finally received a new one amd still wandered when her last day was going to be. Damon, CEO who took over his father's company when his entire family passed away due to a tragic accident. Both traumatized from their past meet in a club, the only place Enery has ever felt more like herself. These two have some kind of chemistry going. They share some spicy scenes. Damon has his own ways set and its his and what he wants. He learns quick that he needs to meet her somewhere in the middle. But he has his own secrets and doesn't want to tell them. Quinn, CEO of a pharmaceutical firm and doctor is one of Damon's friends from the past is also drawn to Emery. She builds a relationship with both on separate occasions. This book is left with a cliffhanger and im excitedly waiting for the next book! This book has a great plot, and great character development.
My, my, my, what lies we weave to tell our own stories. Emery will make you sad, happy and angry. Since her whole life has been filled with physical trauma, every Friday night, she turns into Luna Lush 🤸👡💈💸! It’s the one outlet where she feels total control over her life. Then, recluse billionaire Damon waltzes right in and pulls her into his deviant orbit. It’s a damaged cycle that neither of them anticipated being truly capable of handling. And it keeps getting better!😁 Billionaire Quinton, Damon’s former childhood acquaintance, a persistent thorn in his side, is drawn to Emery too! And Emery, well, she’s lusting after them both. This is a twisted dysfunctional cast of hurt characters. They each have secrets that blend together with a devastating dark backstory. The Angst, grief, coercion, medical trauma, mental health issues and sexual tension alone will get your attention. A storyline with snappy dialogue that gives the reader a real sense of the plot. You have to stick with this slow burn🔥 that builds up to a breaking point. This is book one of this series and it will undoubtedly give you something to think about even after it’s over.🤔 It’s not one to miss!
Damon meets Emery, and he's pretty enamored with her from the get-go while she was up on the pole enticing men for her secret life gig. He's convinced she's bringing him out of his 2 years of grief/funk. He's immediately trying to convince her to get into a contract for a BDSM relationship. Emery is torn between her boring, ho hum life and doing something wild like signing the contract, working for him, etc.
This was a wild ride and a little slow to take off as you get plenty of backstory on Emery and Damon as they are both trying to keep their own secrets from each other. Now Mr. Love Triangle Second, MMC Quinton has started to take a liking and interest in Emery, but there is so much unexplained bad blood between the men. Ya'll the twists were twisting in this book, especially towards the end. I knew the cliffy was coming, but I wasn't prepared to end and then get a nice little peek at book 2 as Quinton started to shoot his shot further.
Just.. wild connections and vibes here. Now, to wait on Book 2.

Thank you, author, for the arc! Release Day: November 3, 2025
"Together. Like thunder and lightning. A perfect storm."
First off, I cannot wait for book two to be released. You are left on a semi-cliffhanger that I wasn't surprised about. But that twist, y'all, I did not see it coming. E.L. Lewis does a great job of developing these characters as individuals. Damon has strong character development involving his grief and reentering the world as a public figure, all while falling for Emery. He is definitely not a perfect person, but is learning who he is after losing those who meant the most to him.
Emery is so strong-willed, she knows what she wants and what she deserves. This is a very slow burn why choose, you don't meet the third MC until later in the book. Quinton is definitely one of my favorite parts of this book. The way in which he cares for Emery while just being her friend (he obviously wants more) is very admirable.
This book contains secrets on secrets on secrets. You think you know something, but on the next page, you are proven wrong. So excited to read the next book, highly recommend reading the sneak peek at the end of book 1. Thank you to E.L. Lewis for the eARC!
I am so angry!! Not at the book, I loved the book, but how everyone treats the FMC. Emery just wanted to live her life and make her own decisions but nobody lets her. The book begins by her working at an unfulfilling job, with a boyfriend who expects her to be a perfect girlfriend on track to be a wife and her parents expect her to be the perfect daughter.
Emery has a secret though, every Friday night she works as an exotic dancer and it’s the only time she feels like herself and gets freedom. One night, Damon, a well known billionaire, who was in hiding for 2 years shows up and turns her life upside down. He gives her an apartment in Manhattan, a better job, and what is believed to be a better life. But again, he wanted to mold her into what he wanted and thought that’s what she wanted too.
I loved this book and I’m not going to lie, I’m 100% team Quinton. Emery wants to live her life on her terms and I feel like he was the only one that understood that. This book has so many secrets and a twist that had my jaw on the floor. I am ready for the second book immediately.

🔆🔆ENDS ON A CLIFFHANGER🔆🔆 Dark/Twisty FMC Obsessive/possessive MMC MMC’s are rivals Dual POV K!nk club Slow burn Why choose (mfm)
Emery finds herself drawn to two men. One MMC is Damon, the CEO of Cavanaugh Industries. The other MMC is Quin, CEO of Novatech Pharmaceuticals as well as a doctor. We see Emery form relationships between the two and we see what length either man will go to when it comes to her. Damon has been reclusive for 2 years, hiding from the world. He refuses to face the world after losing his family. When he is forced to come out of hiding and be the face of his father's Billion dollar company, he is distracted by Emery. Quinton is no stranger to heartbreak. He chooses to be a forever Bachelor.. After all, it was his Fiancée and a family friend who betrayed him.

Love a book which makes you feel that passionately about the characters that by the last chapter you have formed such strong opinions about them which makes you either hate them or love them. This book is one such one where I found myself completely immersed by the twisted psychology presented of our main trio. Dirty Little Secrets is a perfect blend of romance, steamy scenes, and metaphorical writing style that makes you think. Damon and Emery’s chemistry felt too hot at times. I’m definitely more biased towards them for my ship even if the series is hinted to be following a Why Choose? theme. Damon just feels like the guy you root for even after his fucked up deeds while Quinton portrays the perfect aristocratic brat. He made me wish to strangle him at times. Emery is both a vulnerable character as well as a strong woman. The cliffhangers left me heartbroken so I’m definitely on edge for the next book.
I can’t wait to see how the series blends their stories into one. A must read for anyone looking for a different take on love triangle stories.
If you’re looking for a spicy, why choose mfm, billionaire, and the MMCs are rivals. This is the book for you. I love both of the mmcs. I feel for Damon. He’s been through a lot. And his obsession for Emery seems to bring him to life again♥️ I really love the dynamic between Quin and Emery. I enjoy Quin’s personality. He seems cocky and sure of himself. But hides his pain with banter and women. Emery also brings something out in Quin and I can’t wait to see what that is in book two. I’m curious to see how everything plays out between all of them in the next book. Which I am very excited for! This has secrets and a tragic past. It is so intriguing and makes you want to know more. This is my fourth book by E.L. Lewis and it’s another book of hers that I devoured. I am so excited for the next book!
“I am not afraid, Emery. I’m not running away from something. I’m running towards something. Happiness. With you.”
Dirty Little Secrets “Sweet Sinners is a slow burn why choose (mfm) trilogy with unreliable narrators and characters who are morally gray, make mistakes, react in toxic ways, and learn to love themselves along the way. This series contains characters that are flawed. Hurt people hurt people. Sex is not always about love. Forgiving someone else is easy, forgiving yourself is harder. History is written by the person who experienced it—it’s not always factual. All is fair in love and literature. Sometimes, it’s really hard to choose. And sometimes, you don’t have to.”
This book had me hooked from the beginning and was SO good!
It ends on a cliffhanger, and that’s exactly where I’ll be until the next book comes out. This book gets released into the world on November 3rd and should most definitely be added to your TBR!
So steamy! “Dirty Little Secrets,” the first book in the Sweet Sinners trilogy, is a dramatic and slow-burn romance that makes you question, why choose? This MFM romance unfolds from multiple, toxic perspectives that will make you question if you need therapy too. The main characters are morally ambiguous, and you can’t help but fall in love with them and their tragic backstories. The spice in this book is top-notch, and the plot is easy to follow. E.L. Lewis took the time to develop her characters, ensuring that there’s depth to all of them, which just hooks you in deeper. She says that this trilogy is a HEA, but I haven’t found it at the end of this book, which leaves me wanting for the next one in the series. I was able to read this book in just five hours, and now I don’t know how I’m supposed to go on with my life.
