One bond. Two hearts. A war that could ignite Heaven and Hell.
Evangelina Morningstar has claimed her throne, but she always knew ruling in Hell would never be easy. After striking a deal with her mother, she's cast back into the mortal realm—separated from Azazel, their connection severed by wards, and cut off from her powers. Lina is exactly where it all began. Trapped.
As armies gather in the shadows and betrayal cuts deeper than any blade, Lina must navigate a world where every choice has a price. To save herself, she may have to embrace the darkness within—or risk becoming the weapon that destroys everything she loves.
Meanwhile, Azazel will stop at nothing to find her, even if it means defying demons, angels, and the Gods themselves. Driven by love, obsession, and a secret that could shatter everything. He'll burn the heavens, raze Hell, and leave the realms trembling until she's back in his arms.
And finding her is only the beginning. With war on the horizon, trust shattered, and grief threatening to consume them both, Evangelina must rediscover her past in time to face the future. A prophecy stirs. Blood is spilled. And the cost of peace may be greater than either of them could have imagined.
What would you sacrifice for love, when love itself could ignite a war?
I’m so happy we found out so much more and that Lina and Az found their way back together. I cannot wait to read the conclusion! I need to know more about where they are now and what’s the story with Az’s mom! So many questions, so little patience! lol!
I sincerely hope that after this trilogy this author does more! I love her style and the flow of her writing comes across at effortless! I took my time with this book, not because it wasn’t amazing, but simply because we don’t know a release date for the third one and I had to just savor it!

This book gave me emotional damage. I loved it! A perfect continuation from book one. An absolute roller coaster of emotions in this plot. 100% recommend! Maurina J and her books deserve way more hype and attention!
Finally, what happens to Lina and Azazeal. A great read and continuation of the first book. A must read! A different take on the stories we think we know.
