Fans of books like Fifty Shades of Gray by E.L. James, or erotic romance authors like Deborah Bladon and Sylvia Day will love the Collide Series.
This was a quick, hot, sexy read. I really enjoyed it. I'm mad a Troy though. Did he really move on to her coworker so quickly. Ugh! Can't wait to read more.
Wtf! I don't like Olivia, how does she compare troy's almost indiscretion with amber when she has let his brother put his hands on her lady bits. Claims to LOVE troy while thinking about sleeping with his brother, no sense. I'm always betting on the heroin getting her love interest and happily ever after, but this is one of the rare times I hope the end up alone.
So book 1 ended with Olivia seeing her co-worker walk into the Plaza Hotel with Troy. Uh oh, what's up with that!?! I did not particularly care for the first novel but after that cliffhanger I had to keep going.
Ugh why did I even bother.
SPOILERS ARE NEXT...READ AT YOUR OWN RISK
Olivia marches straight up to the room and after she sees Troy in his boxer shorts she takes off running and guess what...she trips. Of course she trips and hurts her ankle. Now she's lying on the couch in his room and he tells her that yes in fact he was going to sleep with her co-worker. Olivia is an idiot so of course she still decides to sleep with the guy.
So eventually Troy decides to take Olivia to Tarrytown to a house he has there. Here is where Olivia meets the mother and eventually Troy's brother Will. Now she's attracted to Will. Blah, blah, blah...Troy ends up getting pissed off and leaves her there at the house alone. Will comes back and tries seducing Olivia, it almost works but she comes to her senses and runs upstairs. This is when it ends.
I just don't like girls like Olivia. I wanted to jump in this book and smack the hell out of her. Does she wanna be with Troy, does she not wanna be with Troy? Why not just tell him how you feel already? It seemed like she completely changed. I hated how she talked about how this wasn't the type of girl she was yet all of a sudden she immediately changed because of this one guy who she knew nothing about? I just don't get it.
Book two was such a disappointment compared to the first book. I was appalled at Olivia and her behavior. It was just as sexy, but she annoyed me as did Troy.
