About the author

Born and raised in Lewiston, Maine, Daniel spent his childhood playing with neighborhood friends or hanging out with his siblings and cousins, and when he needed time alone, he could be found exploring the woods looking for a quiet place to relax and read.

At eighteen, Daniel entered the US Army and spent his tour at Fort Ord, California. He also attended Monterey Peninsula College working towards a degree in business administration.

Once his tour was over, he returned to Maine only to realize he wanted more. He packed his belongings and convinced his sister to move to Phoenix with him. While he only planned to stay in Phoenix for a couple years, he found he loved the desert and spent the next 18 years there.

But times changed and he found himself relocating to the small town of Sweeny, TX. That was when he decided to pursue his writing career.
