The Sight Eater
For Justyna Kowalski, who lost her sight as a child, the world is a map of sounds and textures. This audiobook is so charming and mundane and cute and a just a little off but not in a creepy way. I listened while working on some art things. It's a book that's almost calm to listen to and a weird slice of live to keep me interested. It's also a short book, so it's a nice thing if you want to try an audiobook without having to keep track of that many characters.

Probably more like 2.5 stars. Body horror meets TJ Klune in this cute yet gross novela about a woman in Poland that finds her vision is restored when she eats an eyeball and the relationship she develops with a man that grows random body parts, esp eyeballs.
