This is Ham and Presley’s story.
Ham never imagined that a traffic confrontation would change his life forever, and after blowing the driver a kiss, Presley never expected the driver to chase after her. Presley is focused on her doctoral studies hoping to gain her father’s approval, but when she becomes the target of a serial killer, Ham is determined to protect and keep her safe.
This is a well written action-packed story, with family, friendships, emotions, insecurities, danger, suspense, intrigue, determination, trust, romance, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, captivating page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

I absolutely loved reading about Ham and Presley! I couldn’t put this book down! I was on the edge of my seat! It’s such a page turner! The perfect age gap/friends to lovers romance.
Who would have thought cutting someone off and blowing them a kiss could turn out to become so much more! That’s exactly how Ham and Presley’s relationship starts. He’s was in the Navy now he has opened a dive school. She’s trying to earn her doctorate and earn her father’s approval. Right now she works at a research facility. As the story goes on and Ham and Presley spend time together, the sparks fly. Of course this comes with some twisted events. Bodies showing up dead, problems with Presley’s sister, problems with her dad, and 2 different twisted individuals. Will Ham be able to keep Presley safe? Will the killer or killers be caught? Is there a way Presley will be able to please her dad and get her sister to stop her antics? Is there a happy ending for Presley and Ham? I’m my opinion, Presley definitely deserves all the happiness in the world after the life she has had.

Now that rash decision might be the best thing to every happen to her not only for the chemistry and connection between them but that he quickly becomes her protector.

Those feelings only escalate when he meets her, and he is determined that they are destined to be together and as the danger escalates around them he will do whatever is necessary to keep her safe.

Ham and Presley definitely fit in so well in this universe. They met when Presley accidentally cut off Ham and then blew him a kiss. From then Ham is totally Boomed…lol
Presley is studying to get her doctorate, and she is trying to earn her dad’s approval hence the doctorate. She works at a facility researching sharks. Soon bodies are showing up around Presley which brings out Ham’s over protectiveness. As well as Presley’s stepsister bullying her. Things are just going haywire.
But she has own bodyguard protecting her, but she also has her own insecurities to overcome…
Definitely a good read and added to the awesome Boom series 😊

This was a great addition to this amazing series! I love anything that has to do with ARR's BOOM world, and this was no exception. If you have read Until Hanna, then you won't want to miss this! Ham, who we met in Hanna's story, finds his BOOM in traffic. That's right his girl cuts him off and then proceeds to blow him a kiss as a way to make amends. So, he decides to follow her and from that point the story just soared! We are getting amazing drama, danger, violence. and the naughty bits are the perfect amount of spice. I love that Trevor and Liz make an appearance, had me giving the goofy smile. I give this 5 stars.

Presley never expect that she would feel safe with a man. Let alone want to be with him for any length of time. Can their unexpected meeting lead to a HEA or will others make sure that never happens?
An absolute must read by anyone. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Not very good (2.5-3.0 ⭐️)
Loved Until Hanna and her story with Walker. Ham is Walker’s friend and diving partner. I was looking forward to reading about Ham and who he ends up with. Unfortunately, Presley is one of the worst book female main characters - she needs a lot of therapy. A lot. And after years and years of being physically abused by her step sister and emotionally abused by her father, I feel like it’s extremely lazy writing to have them all of a sudden apologize and act normal to her. And that’s it…alls forgiven. Ham deserved better.

A great action packed romance! Loved it.

Shark Bait of a Story
I had high hopes for this book, but unfortunately, the execution fell short. The storyline itself is intriguing, but it feels overly rushed. There's a pivotal point, which I won't spoil, where the protagonist returns to campus, and from that moment on, the narrative takes a disjointed turn. I wish the author had taken the time to flesh out the details. The pacing feels hurried, and it's frustrating to see Presley's future being dictated by others. This lack of agency makes the story feel unrealistic.

I say this with no disrespect but she needed to stop diving into the ocean and start diving into therapy. Her father and stepsister needed to be shot down. That fuckass professor should’ve drowned or had his head bitten off by a shark. That little family moment at the end was completely unrealistic and a total cop out. She’s a doormat in every aspect of her life it seems. Stepsister constantly puts her life in danger and nada lol. Get real.

Omg what a plot!!!!! Even when I was exhausted, I just couldn’t put the book down. Presley definitely made a good first impression. Ham kept his eye on the prize. This couple was incredibly, their chemistry was off the charts. The stepsister’s turnaround was a little suspicious but I’m glad she stopped being a bully. The ending was incredible specially with all the family coming together and continuing to grow

Intense storyline with danger, murder, suspense and twists you won't see coming. Presley is a Marine biologist fascinated by sharks. Her research facility affiliated with the University of Miami for her doctorate. Mom died, father does research on whales and protecting them, stepmom is a research scientist who studies underwater plants. I love the dynamics between Ham and Presley. Their chance meeting had me laughing.

I love insta-love stories. Those alpha-males are the best ever. Ham is all in for Presley, and he fights for her when he can. This author makes you feel like you are right there with the main characters. I loved Presley's strength, she's had enough and is ready and willing to fight back. The intensity is spiked near the end when things start to happen. Loved this book.

Ham and Presley have such immense chemistry and the connection between them is undeniable. It was a quick read for me and I did like to story.
It is not a 5 star, just because I was expecting more of the conversations between MFC and her dad, I think he ‘got away’ pretty easily and also I love to see that characters talk before coming to (most of the time) wrong conclusions.

Good book to read. I liked the characters and their chemistry and connection. It had moments that were tough to read due to the subject of murder but in the end it was a good book to read. I did wish it was longer to read.

Ham and Presley, what an amazing story. It was filled with a little sass, suspense and an alpha man on a mission. I enjoyed both these characters and their journey to the Boom!!!!
