I have a feeling that this was made with AI. The writing just has a certain air to it. Also judging by this “authors” publishing history, ain’t no way a real author would be able to push out new books this quickly. A new release every month? Sounds fishy…

Prose like poetry
This magical tale is told in magical cadences. Sienna, the senator’s adopted daughter, has learned not to trust or sho weakness, lest she be betrayed. Nevertheless, she IS betrayed, and finds herself in a land of magic and monsters. Bound to Kaedronis, a dragon-shifter ward-master, at first she cannot turn loose of the bone-deep training she has built as self-protection. They romance is told like a song, like a lyrical celebration of their journey of discovery, like an ode to two strong beings finding they are stronger together. The sheer tenderness and beauty of this tale makes it far above what one expects of the genre, carrying it into the real of a classic.

Neat world
Odd cadence to the writing, somewhat confusing at first. A political woman gets yanked into a new world of magic and danger, so she is paired with someone from the world to help stabilize her as she deals with the fact that she now has magic too. She is paired with the dragon who is the recluse of the town and maintains the magic protection wards that keep everyone safe. At first she just seems rude, but you come to realize that, despite appearances, she is very broken. The dragon is damaged too, but they work together and come together to save the town and each other. Enjoyed.

Broody Bookworm with Scales and Secrets
The Dragon brings the brains, the mystery, and a whole lot of smolder. His study is stacked with secrets, and the romance unfolds like a slow-burning spell. I loved how the heroine matched his intensity without losing her own spark. Their dynamic felt like a chess match with kisses—strategic, satisfying, and just a little bit dangerous. A solid entry with a cerebral twist.

Space Found
I am gonna be honest, I did not like Sienna from the moment she appeared on the page. She was so polished that she was sharp in her speech and actions all to protect herself. What I did love was that Kaed met here where she was and allowed her to be and change in her own time.
That is what love is....finding your space to be.

Different but just as good
This story had a very different twist as the first. Both stories well written with great MC'S. The authors word use in this book took some concentration to get used to, but was extremely elegant and suited the story & the characters "precisely." That word will have meaning once you have read the book. So read it & understand.

Slow and dull. That seems a weird description considering the writing is very poetic and descriptive. But sometimes poetic can become padded and it takes away from the storytelling. The premise is interesting it the character and plot development were not. I put it down less than 80 pages in. When I went back, it still found it uninteresting.

Wonderful.
I cannot praise this one enough, much like the first one. This was a delight and as lovely as the ending was, I was sad to see it come. I enjoyed the first book in the series with surprise and glee, and this one did not in any way disappoint or show any the lesser for being second. If you're considering buying this, do so. I recommend it wholeheartedly. :)

Was super excited about this after reading Incident 223 by the author, but this one sadly didn't hit that well for me. I really couldn't warm up to Sienna and that made it difficult to be excited about the story despite the gorgeous and unique writing style the author has

Precise, no fluff. A style of writing I have not read for decades. Something I missed without realizing until I found the author's works. Kept my attention, my mind, engaged. This series is vastly enjoyable.
