February 6, 2026I’m so happy that I got to beta-read another one of Finley’s books. I always enjoy Finley’s writing and this book was no exception.
There was great chemistry between the two MCs from the beginning and I enjoyed seeing them give in to each other.
I love the small town vibes - Finley does them very well - and there’s a lot of great side characters.
FMC is very independent and MMC just wants to take care of her, which generates a bit of tension between them.
There are some heavy subjects in this book and it was an emotional journey. ❤️
