Shadows and flame threaten the kingdom as an ancient curse stirs to life, promising ashes and ruin in its wake. Dark whispers and fretful glances haunt the night, where amidst the rising smoke is the silhouette of a young woman in scandalous attire.
Fearful of the length of the cackling speeches to come, Juliette Contzen, 3rd Princess and S-rank adventurer whether or not she accepts it, valiantly steps forth in defence of modesty.
I love that Juliette is still way OP. I hate when stories take their OP protagonists and have them fight people who give them a good fight. The fights are the least interesting part of every single story ever written. I lost almost all interest in One Punch Man when he went up against someone that took more than one punch. The entirety of the humor was based on how OP he was. Take that away and it's just generic dude gets in fights with other generic dudes, but always wins or at least lives because they're the protagonist. Juliette's only issue with her opponents is dealing with how annoying they are. And it's hilarious.
Also, more Miriam. She's my favorite side character.
Intelligent, unexpected, hilarious and incredibly well written! The saga of Princess Juliette continues, with yet more dangerous troubling her fair kingdom. Thankfully, Juliette is as competent as she is beautiful.
