Balance, Walking, and Fall Prevention: A Fitness Trainer's Guide for Seniors and Pre-Seniors by Tracy L. Markley is a step-by-step guide on improving health and fall prevention. Through images and descriptive text, the author teaches postures and exercises to be done to regain balance and coordination.

She explores different topics, bringing up the idea of how hearing aids may also affect balance. I got the book to be able to see what I can incorporate in my daily workout, only to find more than I thought possible. Most of all I love how she stresses safety first, something we don't remember when trying to push our bodies to bid our requests.

Powerful, practical & helpful must read

Wow, Tracy knocked it out of the park! I will never sit, stand or walk the same way again. Simple to understand instructions that are practical to use in everyday life. I work in home healthcare with seniors everyday and can tell you they would all benefit from this beautifully constructed information. I will be using the lessons in this book for years to come. Balance,Walking, and Fall Prevention is straightforward with explanations and colored illustrations which makes it easy to understand and follow along through the book. This book covers a lot of important aspects that surround falls and helping readers to develop knowledge, awareness, and strengthen in all the areas involved in fall prevention. The exercises are easy to understand and determine what meets your needs. Highly recommended!!!!

Another good book by Tracy. She shares helpful and what appears as well studied information to help seniors not to fall. The illustrations make is easy to follow and comprehend. Seniors need that. Older individuals and caregivers will benefit from what Tracy shares in Balance, Walking, and Fall Prevention. Helpful as well for those us who are pre-seniors as she has in the subtitle.

Balance, Walking, and Fall Prevention is a well put together book. Tracy shares knowledge and exercises like she does in her other books. The older population can benefit greatly from this source of information and knowledge by Tracy Markley. Highly recommended
