I have been eagerly awaiting this installment since I finished with book 1! Evan and Eliza are a couple you can't help but adore. Their love is tangible, and it is obvious they are meant to be. They certainly face some challenges in this story though, and they are really put to the test. I still love Evan, but this story shows that he isn't perfect, which actually helped to make him a more real and relatable character. The mystery in this one was fascinating, and I really liked the twists and turns. The secondary thread of the crime from 20 years ago is still present in this one, and there has been some interesting progress! I really can't wait to see what happens with this, but especially to see where Evan and Elle's relationship goes from here.

Eliza and Evan Part 2
These two still act like horny teenagers but I’m hoping that this will eventually mellow out and the pages will be dedicated to the crimes they are trying to solve. In this story we learn about the downside of drunkenness and how you explain about the dead woman in the trunk of you car. Still waiting to learn about Michael, thought there would be more info about him given that his innocence was hinted at in the last book. We do see what happens when a lie of omission gets between Elle and Ev.
These two are growing on me and yes I’ve already begin reading “Murder of Crows”.

Sexy Not Sexy
I'm enjoying this series,I really am. I like the sappy romance. It's over the top. Gotta love the alpha male. I understand this is not an explicit book. However, the descriptions of the sex are sometimes just funny. Like efficient. Really? Just a thought, mind blowing might work. Or slow and seductive. I like the story and the characters. I'll continue the series and hope for better sex for Eliza and Evan.

This is a continuation of Eliza #1 with Eliza and Evan. Excellent story line and writing but although Eliza has been thru hell and back, she is still insecure and "iffy" with her emotions. Lucky for her, Evan is patient and loves her thoroughly.

Mystery and romance
I expected the story about Michael would come out but it was a side note. Hopefully his story comes out in next book. I'm on unlimited kindle but these books aren't and just one book was $4.99. Since I have to buy next book I hope it is Michael story.
