This was insane, out of all reincarnation genres i’ve read this was the most realistic of them all. Like the fact that her reaction to being reincarnated into an unknown world was so realistic?? And she tried literally ANYTHING to go back to her world?? like most fls would want to go back to their world but after a while they will just accept it and start making progress in the new world. Whereas she didn’t stray from her original goal and even tried offing herself in hopes it’d get her home. She’s an icon fr. One of the top villainesses who actually dgaf being a villainess. She tried killing helena and even framed herself for the deaths of the emperor and the empress which the latter wasn’t her doing. Yet she did all that to get executed and die???? I loved her insanity. And the mls? Don’t even get me started. The fact that she knew they will resurrect her and trap her soul that’s why she told anakin to burn her body. Imagine she had to think ahead of after she DIES. and the fact that anakin did as she said and burned her body? HE’S A GREEN FOREST. all in all she won. She got home. And also got anakin. I would’ve cried if they were apart. He was her biggest supporter along with the witch lady. this story was a straight 10/10.

Its funny, most of the pre-orders I find on my kindle its yay or ooh. For this series, its oh no. It didn't have a recap and didn't need one. Eris wants home. Everyone else wants her dead or caged. The priest was a creep and seems like he'll only get worse. The prince needs smiting for what he tried to do. The only one other than the secretive witches and anahkin that is kind to Eris is the heroine. It has that tense prison feel where one miss step feels like the end.

Apparently the shitty crown prince was capable of being even worse than I thought. This story surprises me by how seriously it takes violence against women. I've read too many other manhwas that didn't. This story also handles PTSD in a fairly good way.

I still can't tell if we're meant to root for Helena. I find her the sort of annoying "benevolent" character type. She's self-sacrificing to a fault and sees the good in everyone... but at the end of the day, she doesn't seem to have a personality beyond the textbook pure angel type. There's no bite and no real passion there. She has goals, but I don't really know what for.

There's not a ton of Anakhin here and that's a bummer.

Hope the crown prince dies by the end of this story.

closer to 4.5 ⭐️ wow. this volume was a lot, to say the least. i definitely was not ready for the emotional turmoil that this part of the story would put me through. i think both the artist and the author portrayed the inexplicable feeling of trauma and desperation, so masterfully. i was so interested in the new information we got about the witches, and i think that it has made my opinion on medea change a lot. it seems that she is the kind of character who will do whatever it takes to bring a happy ending to the people she cares about. despite who that process might include and ruin. i also thought it was interesting that there was an added possibility of eris becoming a witch herself, although i do wish i knew a bit more about that process and what it entails (im sure it’ll be revealed in later volumes). my heart truly broke for eris when the crown prince tried to take advantage of her. it was portrayed to an absolutely devastating perfection. it’s also an interesting detail that she could tell this action was not necessarily in his favor (not that it justifies him trying to carry it out). i thought it was really fascinating too, the way they showed both sides of turning back time. on one hand, she wouldn’t be charged for murder, and there wouldn’t be an unexpected turn of events in their larger plan. but on the other hand, it must be horrifying to remember what he did to her and have to live with the fact that nobody else knows it happened, not even alecto himself. i do hope that she’s able to tell anakhin about what happened… which leads me to another worry, anakhin like disappeared from the final part of this volume. and aside from missing my favorite character, it’s really upsetting to see eris go through all of this without the one person who’s truly on her side. although the act of kindness from helena was a nice exhibition of character growth i feel. safe to say im thoroughly impressed with this series and im dying to read the next volume.

Das Cover lässt es wirklich vermuten sowie auch das Ende von Band 4 - ab Band 5 wird die Geschichte wirklich düsterer und nimmt auch eine Wendung, mit der ich selbst nicht gerechnet habe. Ich habe mir zwar gedacht, dass der Schwächling Alecto sich nicht gegen seinen Vater wehren kann, aber mit Eris Reaktion in diesem Ausmaß? Verständlich, aber absolut nicht gerechnet.

Und dann noch all die anderen Verwicklungen? Schaurig. Bin wirklich gespannt. Wie die Welt zu ihrer alten Ordnung zurückkehren oder ist diese hinfällig? Wird Eris das Verbrechen begehen, dass sie begehen muss, um angeblich in ihre Welt zurückkehren zu können? Und was ist mit ihrem treuen Ritter?

Spannend, fesselnd und mittlerweile wirklich sehr düster. Kann dabei wirklich ein Happy End rauskommen? Langsam zweifle ich echt...

I will say no and suggest you read for yourself.

Do I recommend? My answer is 130% or better to say I pre-ordered vol 1 and 2 already.

Love story in this one has a back seat or like 20% of the story.

It is sad this is otome isekai or OI but in my opinion it is not. Yes it has like 4 men around 2 main females BUT 3 men are carbage of a caliber you have not seen befor. Trust me it is so fun to hate them with alllll the passion!🤣

If you want to take a challange upon yourself then believe my words that this is excelent Manhwa!

Empezó turbia la situación pero bueno luego se puso muy buena, pero entonces otra vez se puso mucho mas turbia, pero bueno me gusto mucho, todo el plan que se hizo y todo lo de mas, la verdad este tomo me mantuvo super picada y no me pude despegar hasta terminarlo, me alegra que ahora Eris quiera lo mejor para Helena pero no se si sea la mejor manera de hacerlo, y siento que el final no quedo muy bien ejecutado, es como si nuestra protagonista se estuviera desmoronando después de lo sucedido y me dio mucha tristeza 😢.

God this one got dark. I am confused by one thing. The end of vol 4 implied, to me at least, that the prince was going to go against his father's demands but then he goes and does *that*. I don't get it. But that aside it still fits in line with his character because he's a spineless asshole. The depiction of PTSD is very realistic imo. I can't wait for vol 6 in just a couple weeks to see where this is all going (I know I can read the webtoon in it's entirety but I like reading the graphic novels).

Eris is scheming with the empress to bring down the royal family and her father,by implicating him in an assassination attempt.

In the meantime,the emperor wants to control Eris and commands his son to get her pregnant by any means necessary. Eris kills him and gets out,but has to contact the witches to reverse time.

She ends up jailed for an explosion that her father is accused of orchestrating,even though it was the empress who planned it.

I know, I know. First 5 ⭐️ read for this year. Well I love otomeisekais. I love manhwas. And it is hard to find a completed series that you can binge read. Thank you YT recaps for this. Am down in the rabbit hole again.

Easy read. It has plot holes but who cares, it is completed.

Alright I liked this one more than the others cause there was some actual progress instead of just continuous torture and misbehaviour to Eris.

I'm looking forward to how the author plans to wrap this up.

I want Anakin & Eris to be together, that's all.

This was so traumatising. I can't imagine going through something like that and be the only one to bear the weight of the memories. This is finally starting to pick up pace and somehow got even darker than it was before.

I wish that the prince stayed dead, he’s a piece of trash, and no matter what people say I will always hate his guts, same for the not so high priest. But on another note I really love both Eris and Helena, and I wished they could have been friends.

This opens with a scene with Hubris that I didn't like -- and worse, found superfluous.

But soon after, Medea introduces herself to Kintia while Anakhin is visiting her. When Eris visits, she says so, talks about what Eris must find to succeed, warns her of hearing a bell ring, which will turn her into a witch and make leaving impossible, and tells her to keep Anakhin always beside her.

Then she advises her to go with him to see fireworks.

It involves those fireworks, meddling with time, Eris's wondering about the witches, Helena's being kind, insanity, and more.

Seulement, je ne suis pas convaincue par la romance qui arrive un peu de nul part.
Et de même pour les complots politiques. On nous explique certain agissement du marquis mais tout a été fait en arrière plan alors c’est assez difficile de comprendre les manœuvres d’Eris.

no one deserves this happy ending like eris does. this is one of the rare stories where you genuinely think no one else could be perfect for the female protagonist as much as her love interest is. he's literally the only one who respects her agency throughout the entire story

also: this is insane. the author is so good at tying up the endings of the villains

also also: read the last arc with helena and eris with "and i would've married you if you had stuck around" playing in the background
