Suspicion falls on Blair and his estranged brother, recently returned after six years abroad.
Fresh from solving the Montgomery Canal murder, Inspector Isabelle Cannon is called in. But as inconsistencies emerge, she soon discovers the truth hidden in Rhydsbury House is far darker than it first appears.
The Body in the White Room is the second Isabelle Cannon murder mystery.

Another great plot & resolution. Still a tad irked at some things e.g. UK Police in 1991 do not "read them their rights, you have the right to remain silent..." they cautioned the accused saying "you are not obliged to say anything..." The shift patterns, or lack of, permanent nights starting at 9pm as a "constant graveyard shift" and other technical issues. However, it gets 5 stars because of the plot and great read - the other issues won't affect most other readers.
