Valor is an incredible story of love, family, and determination. The characters of Valor were well-developed and held their own unique traits that are relatable to readers. The themes of love, family, discovering inner strength, and embracing support from others were not only inspiring, but were also deeply moving. I especially adored the dynamic between the three sisters and how their relationship progressed over the course of the book. I cannot wait to see how the Everhart sisters’ story continues to unfold.

Valor was a joy to read from start to finish. Packed with action and adventure, heroes and villains, light and darkness, kings and queens, mythical creatures and magic, it’s everything you look for in a great fantasy. Amanda Yanul set a high bar with her first novel. I can’t wait to find out what happens next in Aranathea!

Honestly, I was not a fan of fantasy books but when I started reading Valor by Amanda Yanul, I was captivated. Yanul did a wonderful job describing each character and drawing you into the storyline of family, loyalty and first love. The book is a must read and Yanul has a great capacity for detail and imagination.

This was a great debut novel for Amanda! It is an easy read and the story line is amazing! The dynamic of the sisters is amazing! If I had one thing to say is that the pacing is a bit weird… but I love every second of this book! Definitely need book 2!
