A great easy read. I’ve been a fan since 1969-70 and have a ton of Savoy vinyl and cds. Kim writes in a very easygoing style and makes his life story super accessible to all. I learned a lot more about him and his music than I expected. He stays away from a ‘the dirt’ kind of book though he does briefly touch on some of the more negative things that happened to him and those around him. My only complaint is that I wish the discography had been more of a ‘liner notes’ style rather than just listing album titles. All in all it’s a super read and a ten of ten book for me.
