In June 1975 the Taylor family shatters in a single night when two teenage siblings are found dead in their home. The only surviving sibling, Vincent, never shakes the whispers and accusations that he was the one who killed them. Decades later, the legend only grows as his career as a horror writer skyrockets.
Ghostwriter Olivia Dumont has spent her entire professional life hiding the fact that she is the only child of Vincent Taylor. Now on the brink of financial ruin, she's offered a job to ghostwrite her father's last book. What she doesn't know, though, is that this project is another one of his lies—because it's not another horror novel he wants her to write.

I read this book in just a few days on Kindle because it drew me ALL the way in! 100% amazing storytelling and scaffolding, I enjoyed every page! I hope Julie Clark continues to write books like this, hard to put down!
Page turner!! I loved this book. I want to read all her books now. In the beginning I guessed a couple of the twists but there were a few twists at the end I did not guess! This is a fun read. Also, I recommend buying the hardcover. The book sleeve and the pages are super cool. The book looks like it’s on fire. Very cool add to a book collection!
To say this book held my attention until the very end is a bit of an understatement. I'm a mom of a 2 year old... I don't get much free time and I finished this in a day. This book is fantastic and does not have a predictable ending. Read it. You won't regret it.
Not the usual book I would read. I was worried it wouldn't keep me entertained but boy I was wrong! Such a good book, kept me ngaged and thinking and wondering what was gonna come next. I really enjoyed this one!
The back 70% on of this book was really good! I felt like at the beginning we were reading in circles but I felt like the author did a good job bringing the stories together in the end.
