Rate this book
Abigail Summers, dressmaker in life, brilliant sleuth in death, is called to investigate two murders at a paranormal weekend in the haunted Three Crows Pub in Grimbles Cross.

Helped by psychic medium, Hayley Moon, her police constable husband and the resident ghosts of the inn, they need to find out which of the ghost hunters hated Tyler Drayton enough to kill him in the infamous room six. Or is the case connected to the nearby Priory?

Meanwhile, a birdwatcher takes a photograph in Ridgeway Wood with unexpected consequences. After Abigail and the spectral sleuths discover the body of rich influencer, Felicity Fortescue, they suspect that the murderer could be from the village - or the nearby archery club. But are the cases really connected, and who's the culprit?

The seventh book in Ann Parker’s series of cozy mysteries set in the small village of Becklesfield, THE DEADLY COACHING INN weaves together suspense, humour and a touch of the paranormal.

The ghost of Abigail Summers and her team of deceased sleuths become involved in a crime at the Three Crows Pub, when, during a paranormal weekend, a murder occurs. Hayley Moon’s husband, Tom, a police constable whose boss dislikes Hayley and her involvement in solving the crimes, makes the most of the situation by sitting supping beer at the bar while he sends Tom to investigate in some rather dubious places.
As with all these Deadly Detective books, there is more than one crime to solve, and that, in my opinion, makes the books more interesting. (I’ve already started book number eight!)
An easy 5 stars from me.

The Deadly Detectives are at it again. First, they discover who killed the Ghost Hunter in the haunted inn, then they find out who was hunting girls with a bow and arrow, and finally they find out who killed an entire family. Greed and Jealousy have a lot to answer for. I definitely recommend this book and all the rest of the series.
