Rotting Horrifying Halloween Tales
By Ricardo D. Rebelo

A twelve-foot werewolf brought to life by a cursed amulet. A bag of Belgian chocolate that hatches something hungry. A candy corn curse that kills. In Rotting Pumpkins, horror doesn’t wait for Halloween night—it comes early, it comes hard, and it doesn’t leave quietly.

This collection of original short stories and twisted folklore is pure October monsters in the attic, ancient spirits in the pumpkin patch, and spirits of the dead with unfinished business. From the cursed streets of Salem to forgotten farms in Freetown, Ricardo D. Rebelo drags classic New England horror into the present—with humor, gore, and enough nightmare fuel to ruin your decorations.

The Wolf of Woodlawn Avenue – A Halloween decoration that hungers for more than attention.

Spider Eggs – Clearance candy with a bite.

The Candy Corn Man – He’s real. And he’s pissed.

The Pukwudgie – Some pumpkin patches are better left alone.

Lizbeth’s Familiar – Lizzie Borden’s cat still keeps watch.

El Mascara De Diablo – A mask that kills the man who wears it.

And more twisted tales of trick-or-treat terror…

If you love vintage Halloween vibes, ‘80s-style horror, and short stories that hit hard and fast, Rotting Pumpkins is your next October obsession.

Lock your doors. Guard your candy. Something wicked is already here.

I just read this book and I wanted to comment on it. After reading the first story I thought this would be a one star book, I read another and it wasn't really that good, but I kept going. I am so glad that I did. I finally made it to the last story, which was much longer than any of the others. This was a story with chapters, so maybe it would be considered a novella, I'm not sure. I don't remember the name of it, but it has a young girl named Victoria. I really loved this one story. Well written and quite enjoyable.
