Only Theirs

Am I broken beyond repair, or can the two men who want me, flaws and all, help me love myself enough to give us a chance at a happily ever after?

Barely escaping my abusive ex, I find refuge in a sliver of Alaskan paradise in the tiny town of Anchor Bay. A great job, a cute cabin situated inside the poly community, and new friends — things are great, except for him.

Langston Allen. Jerk extraordinaire, never lets me have a moment’s peace and, for some reason, hates me. Tatted, grumpy and with a stalking fetish, the man pushes me at every turn, but the underlying heated tension between us confuses me as much as it does him.

Good thing he comes with his best friend with benefits, West O’Donnell. Not only is he sexy, sweet, and kind, but the man has dimples that make me melt with every shy smile flashed my way.

Still putting together the pieces of my shattered self, getting involved with the two men is a terrible decision, but the pull between us becomes too much for any of us to withstand. When my past and present collide, can I withstand the impact, or will I disappear again, this time for good?

Only Theirs is the third book in the Anchor Bay series. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone (each book will have an HEA for the main throuple), however the mystery/case discussed in book one will continue through the full series and will conclude in book 5. Please note this book does include two males who are into each other and one female who doesn't have to choose between them.

Only Theirs deepens the emotional landscape of Kennedy L. Mitchell’s Anchor Bay series with a story that is raw, intimate, and quietly powerful. This third installment centers on Juno, who is carrying the invisible scars of an abusive past and is unsure whether she is capable of being loved without breaking herself apart in the process. Her escape to the remote beauty of Anchor Bay, Alaska feels like a last chance at survival rather than a fresh start, but the town and its people slowly prove that safety can exist alongside desire and hope.

Anchor Bay offers her more than just physical refuge. A fulfilling job, a cozy cabin nestled within a supportive poly community, and genuine friendships create a foundation she has never known before. Yet healing is never linear, and the past has a way of echoing into the present. That tension becomes embodied in Langston Allen, a man who seems determined to get under her skin at every opportunity. He is abrasive, guarded, and unapologetically intense, with a presence that feels both threatening and magnetic. Their interactions crackle with unresolved attraction and emotional friction, blurring the line between irritation and longing in a way that feels deeply authentic.

West O’Donnell offers a stark contrast. Where Langston is sharp and volatile, West is gentle, patient, and quietly attentive. His kindness is not performative but consistent, shown through small moments of care and an unwavering respect for her boundaries. With West, she experiences safety that does not feel fragile, and affection that does not demand she be anything other than herself. Together, Langston and West form a complicated, emotionally charged dynamic that challenges all three of them to confront jealousy, vulnerability, and what it truly means to share love rather than compete for it.

Only Theirs is not just a romance but a thoughtful exploration of self-worth after trauma and the courage it takes to believe in happiness again. The poly relationship is portrayed with care, communication, and emotional depth, emphasizing trust and consent over fantasy. Kennedy L. Mitchell delivers a heartfelt story about reclaiming agency, allowing yourself to be seen fully, and discovering that love does not have to be perfect or conventional to be real. For readers who crave emotionally driven romance with healing at its core, this installment is both tender and deeply satisfying.

I want to say a massive thank you to Kennedy L. Mitchell for the ARC of Only Theirs.

This book is the third one in the Anchor Bay instillment and picks up with a heart pounding peak into the killer from the previous books. It pulls the reader in immediately and you can't help but turn the pages to see what the author has revealed to us.

We then jump right into the story of three people who have deep scars from their past and who are finding their way towards each other. Through this they find healing, safety, acceptance and of course love. Langston and West have already formed a relationship being close friends who have turned into lovers. But the both of them are thrown for a loop when Juno moves to Anchor Bay.

Juno finds herself running from her abusive past and takes a job in Anchor Bay- far away from her past and where she can heal herself. I absolutely love the self defence classes she takes and how much it drives Langston wild!

Langston is cautious of the newcomer and wants to make sure that her past won't hurt any of his loved ones in Anchor Bay, but he can't help the attraction that is blooming. Unfortunately for him, this leads him to come off as a bit of an arse to Juno- you can definitely cut the tension between the two of them with a knife.

West is recovering from an accident that we were witness to in the previous book, and in his physical healing convinces Juno to give him a hand. With his soft and comforting nature, along with his patience we see the attraction between Juno and himself grow. But to make his life perfect, he needs to convince the grump that is Langston. Him and Langston come as a package deal and they want to make sure that Juno is prepared for that.

Watching the relationship between the three of the characters grow was heartwarming. They each have their own personal trauma but in their growing relationship, they help each other begin to heal.

But of course Kennedy can't give her readers everything- and we're left on the edge of our seats after finding out what we did at the end of the book. I need more because I want to know who the murderer is!

Kennedy has truly outdone herself with Only Theirs, delivering another brilliant addition to the Anchor Bay series that is the perfect blend of spice, heart, and high-stakes suspense. I’ll admit Kennedy has become my favorite MMF writer, and this was an absolute home run.

The chemistry between Juno, Langston, and West is undeniable and explosive. Watching Langston and West’s unlabeled relationship evolve alongside their connection with Juno was much hotter than I ever expected. They communicate with such depth and reassurance—even in the moments they aren't speaking—that they’ve easily become my favorite trio in the series.

Juno’s journey is incredibly moving, serving almost as a guide on how to reclaim your soul after surviving a controlling, narcissistic ex. Seeing her find her fire again while working at Uplift and navigating the tension with a tatted, grumpy "stalker" like Langston and a sweet, dimpled "golden retriever" like West was so satisfying. The way both men stepped up to help her heal from her trauma, while she ultimately got the closure she deserved from her past, was handled beautifully.

Of course, it wouldn't be Anchor Bay without the mystery, and Kennedy is a master at keeping us guessing. My suspect list is currently a mess of mental post-it notes because every time I think I’ve unmasked the evil behind the disappearing women, I’m proven wrong.

The tension is so tight that I actually screamed out loud at one point, terrifying my poor cat who was snuggled up next to me! That perfect epilogue left me desperate for book four; I need to know who the killer is, but I’m also just not ready to leave this world behind. If you love romantic suspense with a protective throuple and a mystery that keeps you on your toes, you have to pick this up.

Disclaimer: I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Only Theirs opens with a heart-pounding peak into who's behind the continued storyline from the previous books, pulling me in immediately. This is Juno, Langston, and West's story of three broken people finding their way to each other, while finding acceptance, safety, healing and love. Juno is new to Anchor Bay after escaping from her awful ex-fiancé. Langston is cautious of the newcomer, even as he is wildly attracted to her. He and West are best friends and lovers, but need more. West is recovering from an accident, and as Juno helps him, the fiery attraction grows between them, now he just needs to convince Langston to let go of his reservations. The push pull between all three of them is filled with angst, fun banter, and explosive chemistry. Juno doesn't feel worthy of their love, so they are determined to prove to her that they will never hurt her. There is also the suspense and mystery of the missing women, so they are also hyper focused on keeping Juno safe. As they get closer to discovering the truth behind the missing women, their lives are now in terrible danger. I fell hard for Juno, Langston, and West, and cheered hard for their HEA! I loved how Juno fought to find herself again and was determined to never lose herself to a man again. Liam was so grumpy, possessive, and protective, while hiding his soft, romantic side. West recovered from an awful childhood to become a funny, sweet, and soulful friend and lover. They were so perfect for each other and I loved the explosive heat, emotion and discovery between them. This was so thrilling, emotional, and steamy, and I can't wait to find out what happens next in Anchor Bay with their intriguing residents, and the mystery of the missing women!

This book wrecked me in the best way.
Only Theirs is not just a romance—it’s a story about healing, safety, and learning to love yourself again when the world has tried to break you. Watching this FMC rebuild her life after escaping an abusive past felt raw, emotional, and incredibly real.
Anchor Bay itself feels like a sanctuary—cozy cabins, found family, and a poly community that offers acceptance without judgment. But the real magic is in the relationship.
Langston Allen is grumpy, guarded, tattooed, and infuriatingly intense. He pushes, challenges, and fights his feelings every step of the way—and the tension between him and the FMC is palpable. Then there’s West O’Donnell—soft, sweet, steady, with dimples that could melt steel. He’s comfort, patience, and quiet reassurance wrapped in human form. 🥹
And together? Langston and West are everything. The way they balance each other, want each other, and make space for her without forcing her to choose was so beautifully done. This is a true why choose romance where love isn’t possessive—it’s protective, intentional, and healing.
What really got me was the emotional journey. The fear. The self-doubt. The question of whether someone who’s been broken can still be worthy of love. This book answers that with a resounding yes—again and again.
If you love: ✨ Why choose / MMF
✨ Healing after trauma
✨ Grumpy + sunshine energy
✨ Found family
✨ Emotionally rich romance with real depth
Only Theirs will own your heart. This series keeps getting better, and I cannot wait to see how Anchor Bay continues to unfold. 💔➡️❤️📚

💜🌲ARC Review🌲💜

Thank you Kennedy Mitchel for this ARC of Only Theirs! This series has me hooked link Langstons fishing skills!

I have devoured each book in this series and this one was just as mind blowingly as fantastic as the first two! I am in love with Anchor bay and this mystery that keeps developing throughout each book is quite the puzzle!!

West, Langston, and Juno! Kennedy you know how to write the BEST throuples!
The way that the relationship between these three developed and progressed around every turn was spectacular! The bond that they share and the love that grows and develops physically and emotionally was top notch!

When Junos self defense training came into play in the BEST way, that was a MASTERPIECE to read! 🤣

I have a feeling we haven’t seen the last of Junos sister… but hopefully Eric is dead and gone, to never be seen or heard from again.🫠 (he was the literal WORST, but then so was her Stepdad, like WTF!?!)

If you haven’t read this series, I truly don’t know what you are waiting for, START at the BEGINNING, as the mystery develops more and more through each book!!

Arc Review

Thank you so much Kennedy for writing yet another amazing romantic suspense! I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this one because it’s MMF which is hit or miss for me. It’s safe to say this was a huge hit for me.

My suspect list just keeps getting longer which is annoying because I have absolutely no clue if I’m right. I just want to know who the killer is so badly. I’ve got like a post it map thing going on in my head trying to connect all the dots.

Onto the MMF, I have fallen deeply in love with Langston and West’s unlabeled relationship. Man that was way hotter than I expected it to be. The chemistry with Juno added it was undeniable and explosive.

Juno, Langston, and West absolutely deserve to be together and might have become my favorite couple. I know I say that each book but I can’t help it. The way they reassure each other and communicate without actually communicating was just 10/10 for me.

There was one part where I screamed “What the f**k?” So loud that I scared my husband, who was playing games. He thought something major had happened. It did, just in the book🤣

This book is another classic romantic suspense with some spicy and heartfelt moments all wrapped in.

I cannot WAIT for book four to further my suspect list and evidence notes.

I so enjoyed reading Juno’s story.

She moved to Anchor Bay for a fresh start after her fiancé cheated on her with her stepsister. But him also being a controlling narcissist really helped her make the move too.

Working for Uplift has really helped her slowly let go of all the negative ways he controlled her & truly find herself.

That is, when Langston isn’t being annoying or West isn’t flashing those dimples at her.

She tries her best to ignore the both of them but man do they wear her down in the best way.

She has a lot of trauma to work through but Langston & West promise to be there for her & help her however they can.

Add in the stress of whatever is happening to the women around Anchor Bay & the tension is so tight, Langston fears he won’t be able to keep her safe.

I was so happy to see Juno get her closure when it came to her ex and stepsister, that was so well deserved.

And that epilogue was just perfect. But I am still left wondering wha on earth is going on with the women disappearing.

Absolutely amazing job!

Only Theirs delivers another gripping, emotionally charged MMF romance in the Anchor Bay series. The list of suspects keeps growing, and with every new clue about the missing women, the mystery deepens in all the best ways. Layer that with the magnetic connection between West, Juno, and Langston, and you get an utterly addictive read that’s impossible to put down.

Watching their relationship unfold was one of my favorite parts. I’ve always been fascinated by the dynamic between West and Langston, and I loved that they never felt pressured to label what they were to each other. Bringing Juno into their orbit didn’t just raise the heat—it gave all three of them the emotional grounding they’d been missing. West and Langston’s unwavering support for Juno, especially as she works to break free from her past, made their bond even more compelling.

The communication, the chemistry, the suspense—every element works together to keep you on edge and fully invested. This installment will leave you counting the days until the next book in the series releases.

This is my first book by this author and even though I went into this story not knowing exactly what to expect, and I ended up completely hooked. This book pulled me in fast and kept me locked in with all the messy emotions, and the intense chemistry between Langston, West, and Juno. The relationships are complicated in a way that made me want to keep reading just one more chapter, over and over again. There’s a lot of tension, longing, and moments where I was lowkey stressed but also loving every second of it. Loved the suspense in the story! The characters felt real and flawed, which made their choices hit harder. The writing flows really well, so it’s easy to get lost in the story. The pacing kept me engaged the whole time, the emotional moments definitely landed, and the spicy scenes were deliciously sexy. I will say I wish I had read the previous books first because there are a lot of characters that I wish I knew going into it but I'll definitely be diving back into those soon.

ARC review:

F@ck i love this series! It felt so good to be back in Anchor Bay! I could not put this book down. The tension was tensioning from the start. Juno and Langston were 🔥. Juno and West were so sweet and funny together 🥰. West and Langston were 🥵. The three of them as a throuple was just👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻. It felt like Kennedy was edging me the whole time and the spice was hot AF. I NEEDED MORE, like for real. Langston had MAJOR Daddy Dom energy 😮‍💨. West was such a lovable golden retriever but had a bark when necessary 😍. Juno was so relatable and it was so nice to follow her on that journey of finding herself and undoing years of abuse. The ex had major micro dick energy. When she stood up for herself against that douchebag though?! That was so satisfying 💪🏻. The overarching plot with the missing women finally seems to be making some large progress. Every stranger seems super sus so it’s really hard to predict what will happen. Ugh I need book 4 immediately!!

I am a huge fan of suspense romance and this author does it so well! There is an overall mystery to this entire series so you have to start reading about Anchor Bay in book 1.

I wasn't really sure how the connection would be between West & Langston, who already have a relationship, and Juno. She's been burned emotionally by people in her past and her hesitation to take them both on is rightfully so. They were amazing and patient and I enjoyed the progression of their relationship all together.

Only Theirs really got things going both heating up the pages with these three and also with the suspense. We got so many more details and getting closer to figuring out who done it. The last few chapters had me on the edge of my seat and I can't wait to see what happens next!

Man, if a book could be a how-to guide on how to love yourself again and live your best life after emotional abuse by a partner, this would be that guide. West, Langston and Juno make such a perfect mix of a golden retriever, an over the top obsessive MMC who just wants to take care of his people and an FMC who is slowly bringing back the fire in her eyes and spark in her soul. Throw in way more hints about what/who the danger in Anchor Bay is, funishment, MMF scenes, a cat daddy and some pretty great revenge moments and this was a book I couldn't put down.

Each book in the series gets better and better. The case of the women disappearing is ongoing throughout the series. We got a little more information and I feel pretty sure I know who it is but there are still two more books so I’m probably wrong.
This was Juno, Langston, and West’s story. We get to see what happened to Juno to bring her to Anchor Bay. Langston and West are best friends who like to blow off some steam with each other. Juno doesn’t like Langston at first. He doesn’t trust her but she and West hit it off. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

I read this book as an ARC. It was 3,5 ⭐️ / 3 🌶️. Why choose with a little mystery in it. I wish it would have not ended on a cliffhanger. But I have a feeling another love triangle with more wondering of what is going on in Anchor Bay is coming.

This book was mysterious, sweet, and spicy! 2 not as heck men and a woman that needs to be taught what love looks like. Found family, MMF, a cute kitty, and some mystery. Really enjoyed the Alaska setting. Also all of the Friends references were a nice touch.
