Anchor Bay #3

Only Theirs

Rate this book
Am I broken beyond repair, or can the two men who want me, flaws and all, help me love myself enough to give us a chance at a happily ever after?

Barely escaping my abusive ex, I find refuge in a sliver of Alaskan paradise in the tiny town of Anchor Bay. A great job, a cute cabin situated inside the poly community, and new friends — things are great, except for him.

Langston Allen. Jerk extraordinaire, never lets me have a moment’s peace and, for some reason, hates me. Tatted, grumpy and with a stalking fetish, the man pushes me at every turn, but the underlying heated tension between us confuses me as much as it does him.

Good thing he comes with his best friend with benefits, West O’Donnell. Not only is he sexy, sweet, and kind, but the man has dimples that make me melt with every shy smile flashed my way.

Still putting together the pieces of my shattered self, getting involved with the two men is a terrible decision, but the pull between us becomes too much for any of us to withstand. When my past and present collide, can I withstand the impact, or will I disappear again, this time for good?

Only Theirs is the third book in the Anchor Bay series. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone (each book will have an HEA for the main throuple), however the mystery/case discussed in book one will continue through the full series and will conclude in book 5. Please note this book does include two males who are into each other and one female who doesn't have to choose between them.

This is a MMF Dark Romantic Suspense, and this is the third book in the Anchor Bay series. I have read the first two books in this series before picking up this book, but I do think you can read this book as a standalone without any problems. If you choose to read this book as a standalone you will miss the backstory on a lot of the secondary characters and some of what is going on in the small town. I really loved this story. Great read.

🎶 “I am tired of this place, I hope people change I need time to replace what I gave away” 🎶

After escaping an abusive ex, Juno (h) seeks safety and a fresh start in the small Alaskan town of Anchor Bay, finding comfort in a tight knit poly community and a life she is slowly rebuilding. The only complication is Langston Allen (H), her gruff, tattooed neighbor who seems determined to clash with her at every turn, despite the undeniable tension simmering between them. His best friend West (H) offers warmth and steady kindness, drawing her into a connection she never expected.

🤍•.¸✿¸.•💌•.❀•THOUGHTS •❀.•💌•.¸✿¸.•🤍

“Juno needs you and Langston to make it obvious you want her, not this dumb stalking and overprotective bossy shit the men around here do in some weird adult version of pulling our pigtails.”

“Juno needs to know you won’t leave when things get hard or mundane. That you want her for who she is, computer-geek side and all.”

I feel like there was so much packed into this book that both the relationship development and the plot felt rushed. There were an overwhelming number of details introduced that were never fully addressed, which makes it obvious that we are expected to read the next book for answers. I do not love that. I would have preferred a stronger conclusion to their story rather than something that felt open ended. Aside from the epilogue revealing that she is pregnant and starting a family, we never actually see the progression from confessions of love to actively planning a future together. Those conversations should have happened within the main plot. I also think I might have enjoyed this book more if I had read the previous ones first. There are many side characters and pieces of ongoing plot that clearly carry over from earlier books, and starting here felt like jumping into the middle of something. If I reread it in order, I might appreciate it more.

“How can someone not feel safe surrounded by all of us here? We’re more protective of the family we’ve built than a damn mama grizzly bear, and with all the guns, maybe more deadly.”

“You’re such a guy.”

Juno is deeply insecure because of her past relationship. She feels unsafe and guarded, keeping her history locked away, especially the betrayal of being cheated on by her ex fiancé with her sister. She does not want to relive it or let anyone in. Langston pushes for answers when her ex returns to town. He frames it as wanting transparency for the sake of the town, claiming there must be a motive behind her secrecy, but in reality he has been obsessed with her from the moment he saw her. He was watching her, paying attention, and everyone in town could see the tension between them long before anything happened. West, on the other hand, acts as the peacekeeper. He is charming, steady, and often diffuses the tension between Juno and Langston. That dynamic is interesting, but it also highlights one of my biggest disappointments.

“I lost so much of myself for years, not realizing I was becoming someone I didn’t recognize, and then when he betrayed me in the worst way possible, I broke. I don’t even know where the parts of myself, my true self, are anymore. I’m trying to find them little by little, but I might never be whole, West.”

“Why do you feel you have to do that alone, Juno?”

This was framed as MMF, and technically it is, but emotionally it felt incomplete. Langston and West repeatedly claim they are not romantically interested in each other. They love each other like brothers. They sleep together, but they insist there is no deeper romantic connection. Any interest in pursuing something beyond that only seems to exist because of Juno. There were moments of longing between them, but there was no real emotional buildup to support it. Juno felt like the missing piece, yet their bond with each other was underdeveloped in a way that made the dynamic feel unbalanced. I did not fully fall in love with the relationship. The progression did not feel convincing. It moved quickly from West and Juno insisting on staying platonic to avoid ruining their friendship, to Langston slowly opening up and revealing more of himself, to West sharing his trauma, and Juno confronting her insecurities so she could be with both of them.

Langston is intense, suspicious, and driven by control. He wants answers and does not tolerate secrets. His fixation on Juno blurs the line between protective and obsessive, even if he frames it as concern. When he opens up, it adds depth, but it happens quickly and without enough buildup. West is the mediator. Warm, charming, and emotionally intuitive. He offers Juno safety and steadiness, often stepping in to soften Langston’s sharp edges. His vulnerability about his past adds dimension, but again, it moves fast and lacks the space needed to fully resonate.

🤍•.¸✿¸.•💌•.❀•OVERALL •❀.•💌•.¸✿¸.•🤍

The emotional scenes were there, but the pacing did not allow them to breathe. As a result, it felt rushed and, unfortunately, a bit disappointing.

This was a fantastic read. I'm not normally a book highlighter, but I highlighted quite a few passages and quotes in this one. The depictions of emotional abuse, both in a familial and a romantic setting, were very well done and felt true to life. The toll that this abuse left on Juno was also very realistic in how it effected her daily life choices and opinion of herself. The guys had equally troubling backstories and I enjoyed reading how their characters are now and how they were shaped by past events. We love to love a man obsessed and having two obsessed MMCs is even better. The resolution with the ex was satisfying. The prologue and the ending were brutal.

Kennedy is a go to author for me and I am obsessed with this Anchor Bay series. It takes place in a poly community full of badass characters and there is a chilling, series long bad guy plotline that is slowly being resolved in each book.

We are going back to Anchor Bay! This time it’s Juno, Langston and West’s story. This book is full of tension and chemistry and banter and suspense and I couldn’t put it down. The overall mystery still has me guessing.

Juno is running from her past and looking for a fresh start and she hopes she has found with her job at Uplift. She had her walls up and was struggling with her self-confidence…and Langston Allen. She hates him…or does she???

Langston and West have this great dynamic. Langston is brooding and overprotective and grumpy and West is absolute delight full of sweet flirty moments. Add Juno to the mix and these three are 🔥🔥.

I loved the secondary characters and the poly community - and also the animals! While there still are some unanswered questions, I am really excited for the next book!

Thank you Kennedy for the ARC!

YALL! This series is top tier! From the story, the spice, the characters, and the mystery! I have many suspects, and I cannot pinpoint who could be the bad guy. The seating I’m sitting on, I’m in the edge of it!

I’ve been waiting for Langston/Juno/West since the start because I knew these three would be hot, and I was RIGHT!

These three had the chemistry to make it work (and hot I might add, very hot!)

The overarching story of the missing women keeps getting better and better with each book. I’m on the edge of my seat wondering what’s going to happen and who could be the bad guy.

I’m so excited for book 4!

Juno came to town to run from her past, and she has settled down and enjoying life.
Well, when Langston isn't stalking her, that is.

Langston is a protector, and when a new person comes in with no history, he wants to protect his family, especially West, his best friend with benefits

West is immediately drawn to Juno when she got to town, but unlike Langson, West takes the friend approach with Juno to try and win her over

I loved the entire plot of this book, and I can't wait for the next book for more answers!

And were back!! I absolutely love this series, the uncertainty, the thrill, definitely gave my heart a run for it's money, in many places I was sweating 😂
An amazingly beautiful story that I could not put down. From the very first chapter, it had me on the edge of my seat and completely hooked. The emotional moments I felt to my core.
I absolutely loved Langston and West and with Juno in the mix it was pure perfection—their connection felt so real and powerful, I was rooting for them the entire time. This story was heartfelt, intense, and unforgettable.

I love this series so much and I can’t wait for the next book in this series! I need to find out what’s happening in Anchor Bay! Since book one i’ve been on the edge of my seat! But I love these 3 together and the dynamic that they have. The way West and Langston calms Juno is just so great. West has a way with words that really just helps Juno grow, and Lang OTTP ways just helped her in a different way. I loved seeing that side come out of West too. Can’t wait for the next one!

Langston/Juno/West

This book has me so on the edge of my seat, eagerly trying to figure out who is the serial killer/human trafficker. I have so many theories, but nothing concrete, and I am desperate to know.

I sat on this book for a long while, trying to decide if I wanted to rate it 4 or 5 stars. I went with five stars based on the relationship the three main characters have. The story treats the poly relationship with respect, focusing on communication and trust instead of sensationalizing it. There are a lot of books out there with only two main characters that can't management the emotional depths that Kennedy Mitchell achieves every time. So that being said, if you are looking for an author who nails the polyamorous relationship and all it's complexities. Look no further.

Juno moves to Anchor Bay to outrun all of the scars of her past, carrying way more than just a suitcase. She’s guarded, convinced she’s not worth much — which makes watching her slowly open up all the more heartbreaking and she's always waiting for the next person to let her down.
Langston, who we've met in the previous two books, has his fair share of baggage as well. He's hot, broody, intense, overprotective, and an unapologetic “asshole” on the surface. Juno swears she hates him, but the tension between them says otherwise. He’s practically stalking her under the excuse of “gathering intel,” convinced she’s hiding something and potentially connected to all of these missing women. Then there’s West — the golden‑retriever energy to Langston’s thundercloud. Easygoing, warm, and quietly battling his own demons. He and Langston are best friends, roommates, and exclusive when it comes to men, so their bond is rock solid long before Juno enters the picture. But the moment they finally convince her to give them a chance everything shifts. They both feel it — that spark, that pull — but they handle it differently. Langston goes full intensity. West goes full heart. And somehow, the contrast just works. Especially when dealing with a woman who believes she is unlovable. It's going to take these two determined men to prove to her, that she was never the issue.

My favorite scene was at the wedding, I won't give more information that that, but it was a pivotal moment for all of them, and it was so endearing to watch unfold.

While this book is technically a standalone, there’s an underlying mystery woven through the series. In order to fully appreciate the layers and details of the cases of the missing girls I think it's important to read them in order. As you do get the occasional glimpse from the kidnapper's perspective that really key you into what's happening. ONLY THEIRS beautifully blends healing with romance, following a character learning to trust herself again after deep hurt. Mitchell shows how love can be messy, unconventional, and still exactly what someone needs to feel whole. It’s an emotionally rich, hopeful installment that hits all the right notes for readers who love growth woven into their love stories.

🌟ARC Read🌟

Okay, I most definitely need to go back and read the first two books. This is technically a standalone, but there’s an underlying mystery woven through the series and I could definitely feel that I was missing some background details. It didn’t ruin the story for me, but I know I’d appreciate the layers even more if I had the full picture.

This is an MMF romance set in Anchor Bay, and the dynamic between these three? So good.

Juno moves to Anchor Bay to escape her previous life, and from the start you can tell she’s carrying more than just a suitcase. She doesn’t think highly of herself at all, and that broke my heart a little. She’s guarded, a bit prickly, and constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Then we have Langston. Hot, broody, overprotective, and absolutely an “asshole” on the surface. Juno claims she hates him, but we all know that tension is doing something else entirely. He’s practically stalking her under the guise of “gathering intel” because he’s convinced she’s running from something. His obsession definitely stems from guilt over things in his past that he feels he should have prevented. He loves hard, protects harder, and doesn’t always know how to show it in a healthy way.

And then there’s West. The big, sexy golden retriever of the trio. He seems carefree and unbothered, but you can tell there are demons he keeps locked down tight. West and Langston are best friends, live together, and are exclusive when it comes to men. Their bond is strong and established long before Juno enters the picture, which made the progression into an MMF relationship feel natural rather than forced.

When they meet Juno six months before the main events of the story, they both know she’s different. Special. The way they’re drawn to her is immediate but handled differently. Langston is intense and territorial. West is warm, steady, and openly affectionate. The contrast between them works so well.

When Juno’s ex shows up in town to “surprise” her with news, things escalate. He is a total D-bag, and watching West and Langston close ranks around her was everything. Protective, possessive, and completely united when it came to keeping her safe. I loved that aspect of the story.

I also really enjoyed the mystery woven in, even if I felt a little out of the loop at times. It added tension outside of the romance and made the stakes feel higher.

My one complaint: in an MMF relationship, I personally love when we actually get more MMF scenes. There were moments that cut to the next scene when I wanted just a little more on-page exploration of that dynamic. Totally a preference thing when it comes to spicy books, but I wanted more of them all together.

Overall, this made me even more curious about the series as a whole, and I’ll definitely be going back to read books one and two.

Spicy chapters 🔥

Only Theirs deepens the emotional landscape of Kennedy L. Mitchell’s Anchor Bay series with a story that is raw, intimate, and quietly powerful. This third installment centers on Juno, who is carrying the invisible scars of an abusive past and is unsure whether she is capable of being loved without breaking herself apart in the process. Her escape to the remote beauty of Anchor Bay, Alaska feels like a last chance at survival rather than a fresh start, but the town and its people slowly prove that safety can exist alongside desire and hope.

Anchor Bay offers her more than just physical refuge. A fulfilling job, a cozy cabin nestled within a supportive poly community, and genuine friendships create a foundation she has never known before. Yet healing is never linear, and the past has a way of echoing into the present. That tension becomes embodied in Langston Allen, a man who seems determined to get under her skin at every opportunity. He is abrasive, guarded, and unapologetically intense, with a presence that feels both threatening and magnetic. Their interactions crackle with unresolved attraction and emotional friction, blurring the line between irritation and longing in a way that feels deeply authentic.

West O’Donnell offers a stark contrast. Where Langston is sharp and volatile, West is gentle, patient, and quietly attentive. His kindness is not performative but consistent, shown through small moments of care and an unwavering respect for her boundaries. With West, she experiences safety that does not feel fragile, and affection that does not demand she be anything other than herself. Together, Langston and West form a complicated, emotionally charged dynamic that challenges all three of them to confront jealousy, vulnerability, and what it truly means to share love rather than compete for it.

Only Theirs is not just a romance but a thoughtful exploration of self-worth after trauma and the courage it takes to believe in happiness again. The poly relationship is portrayed with care, communication, and emotional depth, emphasizing trust and consent over fantasy. Kennedy L. Mitchell delivers a heartfelt story about reclaiming agency, allowing yourself to be seen fully, and discovering that love does not have to be perfect or conventional to be real. For readers who crave emotionally driven romance with healing at its core, this installment is both tender and deeply satisfying.

Only Theirs by Kennedy L. Mitchell is emotional, protective, and just chaotic enough to keep me glued to the pages. 🖤🏔️

While this can technically be read as a standalone, there is a larger mystery threading through the series, and I could absolutely feel it. 🧩 It didn’t ruin the story, but it did make me want to go back and read the first two for the full impact.

This MMF romance centers on Juno, who escapes an emotionally abusive relationship and relocates to Anchor Bay, Alaska. ❄️ She arrives carrying trauma, low self-worth, and a constant fear that love always comes with a cost. Watching her slowly rebuild her sense of safety was one of the most powerful aspects of the book. 💔➡️🫶

Langston Allen is intense, overprotective, and unapologetically gruff. 😈 He feels responsible for keeping his town safe, and that vigilance extends to Juno, even when it comes out as suspicion and sharp edges. His attraction to her clashes with his instinct to guard everything he loves, which creates delicious tension.

West O’Donnell is his emotional opposite. 🥰 Steady, affectionate, and quietly perceptive, West offers Juno a kind of softness that never feels conditional. Beneath that warmth, though, are his own scars and vulnerabilities that surface throughout the story.

What truly makes this dynamic work is that Langston and West are already deeply bonded before Juno enters the picture. Their established relationship makes the progression into an MMF dynamic feel layered and organic rather than rushed. The contrast between Langston’s volatility and West’s steadiness creates balance, and sparks. ⚡

When Juno’s ex resurfaces in town, the protective unity between Langston and West becomes one of the most satisfying parts of the book. Watching them close ranks around her, fiercely and without hesitation, delivered exactly the kind of possessive energy I was hoping for. 🖤

The ongoing mystery woven into the story raises the stakes beyond romance and leaves the reader with lingering questions. That ending? I have theories. And I need the next book. Immediately. 👀🔪

If I had one personal preference note, it would be that I would have loved a bit more on-page MMF exploration. The emotional connection is strong, but I always appreciate seeing that dynamic fully realized in intimate moments. 🌶️

Overall, this installment explores healing after trauma, reclaiming agency, and learning that love, even unconventional love, can be safe, steady, and shared.

And this throuple?
Officially my favorite of the series so far. 😌🖤

I want to say a massive thank you to Kennedy L. Mitchell for the ARC of Only Theirs.

This book is the third one in the Anchor Bay instillment and picks up with a heart pounding peak into the killer from the previous books. It pulls the reader in immediately and you can't help but turn the pages to see what the author has revealed to us.

We then jump right into the story of three people who have deep scars from their past and who are finding their way towards each other. Through this they find healing, safety, acceptance and of course love. Langston and West have already formed a relationship being close friends who have turned into lovers. But the both of them are thrown for a loop when Juno moves to Anchor Bay.

Juno finds herself running from her abusive past and takes a job in Anchor Bay- far away from her past and where she can heal herself. I absolutely love the self defence classes she takes and how much it drives Langston wild!

Langston is cautious of the newcomer and wants to make sure that her past won't hurt any of his loved ones in Anchor Bay, but he can't help the attraction that is blooming. Unfortunately for him, this leads him to come off as a bit of an arse to Juno- you can definitely cut the tension between the two of them with a knife.

West is recovering from an accident that we were witness to in the previous book, and in his physical healing convinces Juno to give him a hand. With his soft and comforting nature, along with his patience we see the attraction between Juno and himself grow. But to make his life perfect, he needs to convince the grump that is Langston. Him and Langston come as a package deal and they want to make sure that Juno is prepared for that.

Watching the relationship between the three of the characters grow was heartwarming. They each have their own personal trauma but in their growing relationship, they help each other begin to heal.

But of course Kennedy can't give her readers everything- and we're left on the edge of our seats after finding out what we did at the end of the book. I need more because I want to know who the murderer is!

Juno, she gave years to a relationship. Years to the people around her. Molding herself to be someone they approve of and not someone se recognises. After years of being emotionally manipulated, she takes up a job in the small town of Anchor Bay. It's the community she needs, filled with people who care and protect.

West, he spent his childhood going from foster home to foster home. Being a child who just wanted attention and love, he was manipulated and treated cruelly. At eighteen, he joined the army, and was put in the mechanics division. Needing that sense of family after he left he moved to Anchor Bay, never realising how much change awaits him.

Langston. Oh Langston! ♥️

He protects what he considers his, and the small community of Anchor Bay and it's people are his family. Anything harmful that happens he takes that burden on himself, believing that he hasn't done enough to protect his loved ones. His grumpy and suspicious of everyone he doesn't know. And he doesn't know Juno, so she becomes his obsession 😜

This is the third book in this series and gosh, I didn't want it to end. This throuple, is definitely my favourite in this series so far. The tension, chemistry, spice and protectiveness of a certain male lead for both Juno and West. So hot!!!!

Langston & West...hell they were 🔥🔥🔥

....this book was also emotional, all three leads had backgrounds that they hard to work through. And Juno 💔 the things this female lead had to deal with! All three deserved their journey to happiness.

The interconnected storyline and that ending left me 😱! I have a list of suspects, but damn I need the next book! Soon! 🙈

Kennedy has truly outdone herself with Only Theirs, delivering another brilliant addition to the Anchor Bay series that is the perfect blend of spice, heart, and high-stakes suspense. I’ll admit Kennedy has become my favorite MMF writer, and this was an absolute home run.

The chemistry between Juno, Langston, and West is undeniable and explosive. Watching Langston and West’s unlabeled relationship evolve alongside their connection with Juno was much hotter than I ever expected. They communicate with such depth and reassurance—even in the moments they aren't speaking—that they’ve easily become my favorite trio in the series.

Juno’s journey is incredibly moving, serving almost as a guide on how to reclaim your soul after surviving a controlling, narcissistic ex. Seeing her find her fire again while working at Uplift and navigating the tension with a tatted, grumpy "stalker" like Langston and a sweet, dimpled "golden retriever" like West was so satisfying. The way both men stepped up to help her heal from her trauma, while she ultimately got the closure she deserved from her past, was handled beautifully.

Of course, it wouldn't be Anchor Bay without the mystery, and Kennedy is a master at keeping us guessing. My suspect list is currently a mess of mental post-it notes because every time I think I’ve unmasked the evil behind the disappearing women, I’m proven wrong.

The tension is so tight that I actually screamed out loud at one point, terrifying my poor cat who was snuggled up next to me! That perfect epilogue left me desperate for book four; I need to know who the killer is, but I’m also just not ready to leave this world behind. If you love romantic suspense with a protective throuple and a mystery that keeps you on your toes, you have to pick this up.

Disclaimer: I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Only Theirs opens with a heart-pounding peak into who's behind the continued storyline from the previous books, pulling me in immediately. This is Juno, Langston, and West's story of three broken people finding their way to each other, while finding acceptance, safety, healing and love. Juno is new to Anchor Bay after escaping from her awful ex-fiancé. Langston is cautious of the newcomer, even as he is wildly attracted to her. He and West are best friends and lovers, but need more. West is recovering from an accident, and as Juno helps him, the fiery attraction grows between them, now he just needs to convince Langston to let go of his reservations. The push pull between all three of them is filled with angst, fun banter, and explosive chemistry. Juno doesn't feel worthy of their love, so they are determined to prove to her that they will never hurt her. There is also the suspense and mystery of the missing women, so they are also hyper focused on keeping Juno safe. As they get closer to discovering the truth behind the missing women, their lives are now in terrible danger. I fell hard for Juno, Langston, and West, and cheered hard for their HEA! I loved how Juno fought to find herself again and was determined to never lose herself to a man again. Liam was so grumpy, possessive, and protective, while hiding his soft, romantic side. West recovered from an awful childhood to become a funny, sweet, and soulful friend and lover. They were so perfect for each other and I loved the explosive heat, emotion and discovery between them. This was so thrilling, emotional, and steamy, and I can't wait to find out what happens next in Anchor Bay with their intriguing residents, and the mystery of the missing women!

Juno moves to Anchor Bay trying to escape her past, and from the very beginning you can tell she’s carrying more than just a suitcase. Her low self-esteem broke my heart, but watching her slowly find her place in the community was incredibly satisfying. You can see glimpses of the woman she could be if she just believed she deserved more.

Langston being outwardly rude to Juno was harsh at first. But once you realize he doesn’t trust her and is “gathering intel,” you quickly learn that’s just code for stalking her. It’s very much his brand of protection, even if it comes off rough and territorial. West is the softer presence between the two. He’s kind to Juno from the start, steady and patient, though he definitely has his own quieter version of keeping tabs on her.

Beyond Juno’s reasons for arriving in Anchor Bay, there’s also a separate mystery unfolding between Anchor Bay and Anchorage. That added a whole new layer of tension and made the need to protect Juno feel even more urgent. Watching West and Langston spiral into full protective mode was everything.

What I loved most was how the story handled Juno’s past and the roots of her low self-worth. Every time she pushed back against those negative thoughts or situations, it felt like a small victory. This book really leans into the idea that healing isn’t linear and that sometimes you need other people to help you see your value. And it wasn’t just Juno confronting her past. West and Langston have their own demons to work through, which made the dynamic between all three of them feel balanced and layered. I received this book as an ARC and am leaving this honest review voluntarily.

I always had the need to protect those who I loved, but this was different. It was more.

This has all the feels of a small-town suspense, but throw in that the community is made up of several throuple romances.

It’s part of the Anchor Bay ongoing series, and this time we follow Juno, who moves to Alaska looking for a fresh start after a really messy breakup with a controlling ex. Although the book concentrates on one throuple at a time, there is a storyline running throught the series. I haven't read the previous books and had no trouble catching up with the story.

Juno is trying to find herself again, but she immediately catches the eye of two best friends, Langston and West. Their dynamic is full of chemistry —Langston is the tatted, grumpy type who seems to dislike her but he’s actually obsessed with her and spends a lot of time 'stalking' her, while West is more of the golden retriever type. Watching them both wear down Juno’s defenses and promise to protect her is easily the best part of the book.

The story isn't just about the romance, though. Women have been going missing in town, and that mystery keeps you guessing who might be to blame when it becomes possible that the person responsible might be living close by. Langston and West are super overprotective, especially when it feels like the threat is closing in on Juno.

It’s a great mix of high-heat moments and genuine emotional healing. Juno has a lot of trauma to work through, but the way Langston and West support her—and each other—makes for a really sweet "found family" vibe. If you want a story that has a lot of heart, a good bit of suspense, and plenty of spice, you’ll really enjoy seeing how these three navigate their relationship in the middle of a Alaskan mystery.

This was my first book by Kennedy L. Mitchell and it definitely won’t be my last. I was hooked from the start.

Juno shows up in Anchor Bay running from a brutal past, carrying way more than just a suitcase. She’s guarded, convinced she’s not worth much, and always waiting for the next person to let her down. Watching her slowly open up was honestly heartbreaking in the best way.

Then there’s Langston and West, who could not be more opposite. Langston is broody, intense, overprotective, and absolutely convinced Juno is hiding something. He’s in full “protector mode” and, okay, low-key stalking her under the excuse of keeping his family safe. West, on the other hand, is all golden-retriever energy. Warm, kind, patient, and immediately drawn to Juno, but choosing to be her friend first. The contrast between them worked so well, especially with someone as closed off as Juno.

The poly relationship is handled really well here. It’s respectful, emotional, and actually focuses on communication and trust instead of just using the dynamic for shock value. The bond between Langston and West already feels solid before Juno enters the picture, which makes the MMF dynamic feel earned instead of rushed.

On top of the romance, the suspense had me on edge the whole time. I was constantly trying to piece together who the serial killer/human trafficker might be, and I’m still full of theories. I need answers, immediately.

If you like romantic suspense with small-town vibes, found family, protective grumpy heroes, sweet cinnamon roll heroes, and a poly relationship done with real emotional depth, this one is such a good pick. I’m very impatiently waiting for the next book.

I have read the first 2 novels in this series and the build-up in those novels has hinted at what the relationship between Juno, Langston and Wes would be like.

Seriously though, the sexual tension with these three is so thick you could cut it with a knife. Only Theirs picks up shortly after Claiming Ours ends (book 2 in the series) but you do not need to read it, as Kennedy does a great job of situating the story line so that this novel does in fact act as a standalone. (although the suspense portion will make more sense if you have read the first two).

I had so many questions where Juno was involved. Based on how she is developed in the previous novels and her great disdain (at least initially for Langston) I had so many questions as to who/what made her so closed off. For as strong and independent as she presents herself, I never would have guessed that her past was her backstory. And I think I appreciated the twist about her storyline.

Langston was another character that had me asking questions when I met him in book 1. Learning his backstory broke my heart and made me understand him all the more. The Gruffy Grump is protective of those he loves and doesn't trust anyone. But don't let the stalking fool you; the man is obsessed and when he finally gets out of his own way and allows himself the feelings he has been holding back, he finds what he has been looking for.

Wes. While his past is dark, he does his damnedest to prevent that from breaking his pure sunshine personality. Wes is the lightness that this trio needs. He is the one who grounds both Langston and Juno. Hiw's backstory, like Langston's, is heartbreaking, but he does not let his past change what he wants.

The development of these three characters was exceptional, showcasing distinct personalities among the MMCs. The Banter between them was perfect and the spice was very nice. Although I do not think this one is as spicy as the others, for these three it makes the most sense, as there was that whole enemies-to-lovers trope that needed to be remedied before the spice could be realistic between Juno and Lang, regardless of how much sexual tension was in the air between the two.

And I loved that this one provided more of the secondary story inside. At least it is more so than the previous novels. I have so many thoughts about how it is and I cannot wait to get the next part of the series just to get more clues on this front.

Thank you Kennedy L. Mitchell and The Author Agency for the ARC

I absolutely love the way Mitchell writes why choose, poly relationships! There’s just something about the way the love story and plot are woven together seamlessly.

Only Theirs is the third book in the Anchor Bay series. It focuses on Langston, West, and Juno. There’s loads of tension between the three, mainly West and Langston, but Langston and Juno too! The spice in all three books is immaculate and the suspense storyline just keeps getting better and better! New pieces of the mystery puzzle are coming to light and finally starting to click into place.

I am enjoying the suspense, but am most definitely here for the chemistry and spice! Everything between the three feels so natural and meant to be. Juno’s relocation to Anchor Bay is meant to be a quiet escape from heartbreak and betrayal, but what she finds instead is a whirlwind of passion and danger. Langston is her broody, protective alpha with a heart of gold. Then there’s West who is flirty, fun, and bit broken too. Between the three of them there is incredible, raw chemistry and such a deep connection. The spice is spicing with these three! Obsessed with alpha, bossy Liam and caring, fun West. They stand up for her and support her when needed. Loved their reactions to the ex-fiancé and step- sister. Juno is a lucky lady.

A huge thank you to The Author Agency and Kennedy L. Mitchell for the early copy! I am in love with the Anchor Bay series and all the trios we are seeing. I am at the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens next!

⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/🌶️

I’ve been waiting on pens and needles for this book to drop! The suspense that all started in book 1, has been maintained in a way that isn’t over powering and gives the reader the chance to come up with leads as well.

The build up of the West, Langston, and Juno from the first 2 books had me PUMPED to finally have all the sexual tension worked through. While we did get one full scene of the 3 of them together, the other was closed door and I found that to be disappointing, just for the fact that it didn’t resolve the tension that had been building for so long.

The 3 of them were able to finally accept the truth in being each other’s safe space, all together, and it was nice to see them work through past trauma that was holding them back. Though I still feel like what the readers got of their relation was more surface level than anything else. The build up of these 3 and then what we actually got, feels similar to someone promising you a day at the pool and then just spraying you with a water hose and calling it good.

The mystery of the missing women is finally starting to get closer to a real lead and I’m so eager to find out if my suspicions are correct in who is behind the disappearances! Although I was SO sad at the cliffhanger because I was really hoping for a different outcome for Caroline. 😭

I can’t wait for the next 2 books and to finally have the case solved. I would definitely recommend reading the books in order for the series as it sheds MUCH more light on what’s going on in and around the community.

Anchor Bay is a small mountain side town with a poly-community. The community is also dealing with women disappearing and new threats throughout the series. Everyone is on high alert!

I've been eagerly waiting to have Langston's story. He's been the town grump in the previous books. The harder the man the harder the fall. Well Langston, West, and Juno did not disappoint! I am such a sucker for a man obsessed and stalking his interest. Especially in this case because Langston doesn’t see that way at all. 😆

West is the quieter laid back of the two although just as passionately attracted to Juno. But those two have their work cut out when it comes to her!

Juno is escaping her past. She was mentally abused, gaslit, and betrayed in the worst way. She doesn't trust anyone and with good reason. I loved her character. She holds herself back and doesn't give in to the guys right away.

The journey of Langston accepting his obsession, West convincing them both they're all end game, and Juno allowing herself to be happy and rely on these two to take care of her... well it was just BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN.

If you haven't started this series yet definitely put it on your list. It's currently in my top 5 poly favorites!!

Thank you Kennedy Mitchel for this ARC of Only Theirs! This series has me hooked link Langstons fishing skills!

I have devoured each book in this series and this one was just as mind blowingly as fantastic as the first two! I am in love with Anchor bay and this mystery that keeps developing throughout each book is quite the puzzle!!

West, Langston, and Juno! Kennedy you know how to write the BEST throuples!
The way that the relationship between these three developed and progressed around every turn was spectacular! The bond that they share and the love that grows and develops physically and emotionally was top notch!

When Junos self defense training came into play in the BEST way, that was a MASTERPIECE to read! 🤣

I have a feeling we haven’t seen the last of Junos sister… but hopefully Eric is dead and gone, to never be seen or heard from again.🫠 (he was the literal WORST, but then so was her Stepdad, like WTF!?!)

If you haven’t read this series, I truly don’t know what you are waiting for, START at the BEGINNING, as the mystery develops more and more through each book!!

Arc Review

Thank you so much Kennedy for writing yet another amazing romantic suspense! I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this one because it’s MMF which is hit or miss for me. It’s safe to say this was a huge hit for me.

My suspect list just keeps getting longer which is annoying because I have absolutely no clue if I’m right. I just want to know who the killer is so badly. I’ve got like a post it map thing going on in my head trying to connect all the dots.

Onto the MMF, I have fallen deeply in love with Langston and West’s unlabeled relationship. Man that was way hotter than I expected it to be. The chemistry with Juno added it was undeniable and explosive.

Juno, Langston, and West absolutely deserve to be together and might have become my favorite couple. I know I say that each book but I can’t help it. The way they reassure each other and communicate without actually communicating was just 10/10 for me.

There was one part where I screamed “What the f**k?” So loud that I scared my husband, who was playing games. He thought something major had happened. It did, just in the book🤣

This book is another classic romantic suspense with some spicy and heartfelt moments all wrapped in.

I cannot WAIT for book four to further my suspect list and evidence notes.

Only Theirs will have your heart racing from beginning to end. From the consuming love, yearning, undeniable chemistry, fiery passion to the hidden truths and staggering cliffhanger that will only leave you asking for more.
This is the third book on the Anchor Bay series, bringing us the story of Juno, Langston and West.
Juno is a gentle soul that found a healing place in Anchor Bay, a place where she can be her true self. As she slowly heals the last thing she expects is to find love with no one, but two incredible men.Accepting that love, however won’t come easily.
Langston is fiercely protective of those who he loves and when Juno comes into his life he’s hesitant to trust her with his and West’s heart. But the walls he's built begin to crumble, and resisting the undeniable chemistry between them will be impossible.
West has a dark and painful past that at some level makes him feel unworthy of love. He has opened his heart to Langston but when Juno enters his life he’s done denying the connection that simmers between them and will do anything to make Langston see she’s the piece they’ve been missing.
As the three of them explore this newfound relationship, the ghosts of the past that are lingering in the shadows will try to tear them apart.
And let’s not forget that there is a bigger danger surrounding Anchor Bay and slowly more pieces of the puzzle will fall into place, raising the stakes higher than ever.
Be prepared for an MMF romantic suspense that will take you through a compelling, emotional and suspenseful journey that you absolutely don’t want to miss!

I really enjoy the Anchor Bay series so much. This is book 3 in the series and while it features a different couple every time, the mystery surrounding missing women continues throughout the series and you uncover more facts as the series progresses.

Only Theirs is all about Langston, West and Juno. I have been waiting for a story about Langston since book 1 because I love myself an overprotective grumpy MMC. The characters are all so different but have one thing in common- a crappy childhood and trauma. Langston is overprotective and slightly stalkerish, West is also overprotective but goofy as well and Juno is trying to find herself. The story follows Langston and West who have wanted Juno since she came into their poly community and how they try to convince her to take a chance on them. Juno has been scarred from a previous relationship and is very introverted and unsure of herself but watching the guys bring out her sassy side was so endearing.

The romance was so sweet and the guys all said the right things and my gawd the spice was spicing.

Tropes:
-Poly romance
-Small town Alaska
-Found family
-Healing after trauma
-Grumpy MMC
-Cinnamon roll MMC

Kennedy L. Mitchell knocked this one out of the park. Only Theirs is an emotional, slow-burn journey of survival, self-worth, and finding love in the most unexpected place.

What really stood out to me was how the mystery in Anchor Bay gradually unfolds. At first, you just sense something simmering beneath the surface. Then, chapter by chapter, the clues begin aligning. You can finally start making guesses about what’s truly going on—but instead of feeling settled, the suspense just keeps escalating. I was constantly on edge, waiting for the other shoe to drop.

The romance is beautifully done. Langston’s gruff, antagonistic exterior hides layers of depth, and the tension between him and the heroine practically crackles off the page. West balances that intensity with tenderness and quiet devotion. Together, they don’t just want her—they want her flaws, her scars, and her healing. Watching her slowly piece herself back together while navigating feelings for both men was powerful and emotional.

This story perfectly blends steamy romance with emotional depth and an underlying thread of suspense that refuses to let go. I’m completely hooked on Anchor Bay and cannot wait to see where this series goes next. Five stars without hesitation.

4.5⭐️

I really enjoyed how the story continues in this book. The mystery and suspense subplot surrounding the missing girls is explored more deeply, and we get to dig further into the investigation, which added a strong sense of tension throughout.
I especially liked how the relationship between Juno, West, and Langston develops. It starts off charged with tension, with definite hate-to-love vibes between Juno and Langston, even though it’s clear he’s been obsessed with her from the beginning and just refuses to admit it.
That push-and-pull dynamic made their interactions even more compelling.
Each of them carries scars from their past, and it was meaningful to see how they slowly open up to one another and begin facing those wounds together, especially Juno’s, which are still so fresh and painful.
Watching that vulnerability unfold added real emotional depth to the romance.
What I loved most, though, was how protective and obsessed both West and Langston are when it comes to Juno.
That intensity, mixed with genuine care and devotion, made their dynamic impossible not to root for.
I can’t wait to read the next throuple’s story and dive even deeper into the case of the missing girls!

Healing after always being not worth it

Juno came to Anchor Bay to getaway from her ex fiance after he was found cheating. This man had destroyed her self worth and she has to relearn what its like to be cared for and about.

I loved the relationship between these three. You have your very protective and grumpy man who struggles with perceived failure when he was a child. The second was a foster kid who had been pretty enough to be "useful". Together they makes sense but also they don't. I really would have like more relationship growth and sexy times between them.

This book is a standalone for the relationship dynamics. However, there is this underlying mystery that we have been following since book 1. I feel like we definitely got some great information about the missing women in this book. I can't wait to see who all is involved.

This book only has a couple of mild sexy times that are actually full written. I'm sad we didn't get the men together or even a full on scene with all three!.

This town is such a beautiful place. The people are protective of each other and always there to help out. I'll definitely be reading the next book as I need to see how this mystery finally is solved.
