He didn’t choose the game. The game chose him. Priest Justice has come a long way from being the battered and neglected little boy who had to make a way for himself and his younger sister. He’s gone from sleeping on the floor of a rundown apartment in the projects to owning an entire apartment complex. From couch hopping to owning a penthouse in TriBeCa, a mansion in the Hamptons, and an entire estate in Italy, he’s made the moves, and he played the game to win. When the world tried to play him, he played the world instead. But with every accomplishment comes the bittersweet reminder that blood doesn't make you family. And with every win came a sore loser who added themselves to Priest’s long list of enemies. With the world under the impression that he’s dead, Priest comes up with one last a score so big, he and everyone around him will be set for life, and a ploy so diabolical, it’ll bring New York City’s entire political structure to its knees. The emotions are high, and he’s playing for keeps. With the powers that be trying to keep him in his grave and the clock ticking on his last chance to truly be free, everything is riding on the smarts of one dope dealer from the hood they should’ve never tried. Will Priest finally take back everything owed to him and reach new heights in the process, or will all his efforts end up being too little and too late? In the end, there’s so much more at stake than The Love of Priest.
4.5 ⭐️ I feel like something was missing maybe I’m greedy lol it is 4 books. I am happy to finally see the ending of Britain and Priest love story outside of Wattpad. I can’t wait to read whatever else Rose write in the future.
Just because I know where this author began and I was in the trenches with her on Wattpad, it’s automatically a 4-star start. I gave it 5 because it was good, we got a happy ending, and Priest did his big ones. Realistically it’s a 4.75 because everything wrapped up too fast. Where was the angst and drama? Moments I wanted to feel shattered only gave me a little aggression. The secondary cast left more to be desired. Priest grew. He fought his demons. But everyone else? Flat and lacking accountability. I hated that Priest apologized to Jazzy first. Overbearing, yes, but he was right about her. Since she was so prominent, we deserved to see growth. Not a full 180, but at least a 90-degree turn. It’s wild that she wasn’t living her dreams, why own a club when you love fashion? You had the money and connects, open your atelier get ya clothing line off the ground SOMETHINGG.
Jru didn’t grow at all. Any small improvements happened only because Priest dragged him. For someone grown, loud, and bold, that man never had a vision. Kaymen was the steady constant and my favorite. He let Priest feel and work through his emotions while still checking him when necessary. I saved Brit for last because I love her, but in trying to repair Priest she steamrolled him into emotional battles he wasn’t ready for. Brit’s mindset was “my way is the right way,” even when she didn’t see or understand the depth. I hated that she kept trying to make him give in, be sorry, or force him to interact. Girl, it’s his family, his drama, his trauma. Just because you want redemption for everyone doesn’t mean he does. Yes, want more for your man, but consider his views too.
Overall, this writer is one of them ones. I’ll be reading whatever she drops next.
Book 4 tied up all loose ends!! Everything really came full circle! All the work J’ru, Kayman & Priest put in over the years paid off secured their future! I loved everything about Priest & Britain from book 1 they went through so much together & at times I wasn’t sure they were gonna make it!! I was so happy to see them get there happily ever after 🥰! I loved Ahkeem for Jazzlyn!! She needed somebody that could match her energy! He made her feel secure enough to be vulnerable & open up to him! I loved that for her!! Lastly Sylvia & Terrance got what was coming to them! This was a really good series from start to finish!
I am so sad this series had to end!!!! This series was my top 3 for 2025‼️‼️‼️‼️ this series was more then just the sex and the gun play! This series took me on a damn ride! From book 1-4 it will make you laugh, cry , become frustrated basically every emotion and it’s damn worth it! Thank you to the author for publishing an amazing story I loved every inch! I don’t want to spill any of it but I will say please READ IT YALL!!!!!! 10/10 for me!!!
I don't know. I think I have to sit with this for a while. I have loved this series from the beginning to the end, but something about the finale felt rushed to me, and that's saying a lot because the first two books were over 500 pages. I love that everyone got their happy ending, but something was missing, and I can't really put my finger on it. Either way, this is still my favorite story, and Priest is still my man.
I’m sad because it’s over but happy for Gioia and Priest. Finally Jaz grew up because she was on my nerves. And she got a happy ending. And took accountability.
The perfect wrap up to the NY love story. Priest Kanaz MF Justice.
Rose, fight me!!!!!! This was too good.
I’m so sad this is over. I’m going to miss them.
It was the unwavering loyalty they showed each other. They truly rode for one another regardless of their current status in each other’s lives. We watched each character grow and heal.
Book One was my first read from this particular author. This is Book Four of the series. The storyline is very interesting and keeps you engaged. The characters are very relatable. If you are looking for drama and romance, look no further. You will enjoy this book until the very last page.
I love Priest also. He beat the odds that he was facing in life and came out on top. I hate to say this but he should have been took care of Sylvia and Terrance…also Mike, Leonard and June. They were terrible parents
I’ve been reading this book since WattPad days! I am very happy for Rose and her journey to getting her work published. This was and still is one of my favorite books. Has always kept my attention and has a new twist to unravel. Definitely a must read!
Super emotional to be finishing this series. I’ve been reading this since wattpad 5 years ago and to finally reach the end wow. Love this book, and just so happy to have gotten this ending!
